I know that some tarot readers actually view the cards as a tool to help the reader - not as a fortune telling tool. So for example instead of asking - Will I meet someone this year they would want you to ask - what should I do in order to meet someone this year... Instead of asking Does X love me - you'll need to ask - What do I need to know about my relationship with X... In this way the reader gets tools that can help him/her with the situation... I tried this approach with Aboutagirl - I asked her whether the cards can tell me what should I do in order to find a job - cause I didn't want to ask when will I get a job - her answer wasn't that clear.. Well...what are good questions to ask a psychic medium...Also what about Clairvoyance and Clairsentience? I am just curious. I've always asked the same question and it's what is this person's intentions? Does more specific questions bring better answers? IP: Logged |

Ok. I realized today that one of Beverly's predictions is currently taking place. It's nothing to jump through the roof but it's interesting that in our last reading she said that she saw my ex thinking deeply about the stalemate between us, a new beginning, and that he has taken a trip to seek family advice etc...
She asked if his family lived far from him. It didn't make sense then because they all live within blocks of one another, aunts, cousins and all...
I found out that he has indeed taken a trip to people that he considers his "soul family" who live in a completely different state. and it seems to be for some spiritual renewal, counselling, advice as these are people who usually help him in tough time. I thought I'd give her credit here as during the reading, I told her it didn't make sense, and she said that's what she was seeing. Of course, I don't want to fan anyone's addiction. let's stick to the no psychic for September at least.

If the reader uses cards I prefer to be more specific in my questions, I think it helps with the accuracy... also, I prefer to ask about my actions and not about the other person.
However, with psychics that information just comes to them ... I just ask general questions because you can't control the information they get so I'm happy just to listen to whatever comes through ...

That made me regret not doing a proper reading with Beverley - I had a chat with her and then it disconnected - I tried to connect again but she was grey and I sent her a message to which she replied that she's online at the moment (though I still saw her as grey) and I kinda gave up =/ Don't even know if she charged me for that session or not and I didn't end up returning to have a proper session... But I'll remain strong for this No Readings in September Pact

Well reporting on the pact: it's working!! Not getting more readings is allowing the ones I got to unfold. So I kind of have a dude from the past come on to me pretty hard, Beverley saw this. I first thought it was the Scorp, but it's someone else thank goodness. Also, an older dude I met through work. Except it's September, not October lol. And it is such a bad idea, he has kids and maybe a wife. And would not have thought this would ever happen - no superior studies! Hannah predicted this. I thought to myself no way in hell would I ever be interested in someone without a college degree.. but I am attracted to him. Just that he is not a viable candidate. Okay, hopefully October will bring something I can work with, coz these two, despite being fun to hang out with, are a no-no. IP: Logged |

I actually stopped with the readings, too. It was after GS I felt like I shouldn't bother anymore. The predictions usually don't happen. I'll stick to one reader in particular..or two on Bitwine. I like one more than the other..not going to mention names as to not tempt people (I have already mentioned them in the past anyway).I did get a real life reading yesterday (coffee cup..been 3 years since I last went to her). It's only $20 and she is very accurate. You don't have to say a word. And her predictions come to pass, too. Even though I doubted her in the past..her predictions were true. So I'm scared about something she predicted happening to me  her reading was kind of similar to Astrid's :] kind of got the same message! IP: Logged |

Yeah I havent had a reading since welll....the last time I posted about getting a reading...mid-August? I dont even remember. They're just not useful to me nd they seem to do more harm than goood. I kind of doubt psychic ability now and I was never a skeptic before alll the readings.IP: Logged |

Do you live in NYC? if so do you mind sharing the name of psychic you went to? It's ok if you'd rather not say. Psychics are a dime a dozen here and alot of them seem fake anyway. IP: Logged |

Hi Starz,Well, think of it this way: that you were not meant to have a reading with Bev then and hold on to the non-reading resolution. When you're regained control, then you may try her out especially if predictions come to pass from other psychics. I'm trying to resist the urge as well and it gets easier everyday... quote:

Actually not having readings has been easy lately cause I've been catching up with friends and spending $$$ (Which is great, I'd rather spend money with friends than on a reading). Yeah, who knows maybe later I'll have a reading with Bev (like in Nov or something) - I kinda got 2 predictions from her before the chat crashed - she saw love coming, not now but soon, Fire sign and she saw that a big door will open work wise - she wanted to do a card spread to clarify both issues and ... yeah the chat crashed... Atm I can't report that any predictions (from any psychic) have happened - in fact, it's funny I'm having a date tonight and I went back to the readings to see if anyone has mentioned this guy and nope... GS said there will be 3 guys interested in me, the first guy will be young and his name will be Mikel-Migel - that origin, well the guy I'll be seeing tonight his name starts with T and not even close to those M names... Melanie also predicted some younger guy - and this guy could be younger than me... I'll find out tonight... but the his appearance is nothing like what she described... Of course they didn't have to predict that I'll be going with this guy (it's only one date, I'm not too excited by it actually) but I would have loved for someone to have picked it up so at least some prediction would be happening lol IP: Logged |

Do you have any friends who are fluent in Spanish? Maybe you can go with them and they can translate? let me know if you do..give me your e-mail/or e-mail me. She opens her doors (she works from home) around 9am-10am, but you should be there before that time because A LOT of people go at times.. Me and my aunts woke up at 6am just to be there by 8am. We were the first ones there because a lot of people go. The first time I went the whole house was packed down to their hallway -_-. Luckily I was only #4 at that time. IP: Logged |

I think this kind of proves how dangerous all these readings can really be. I don't care how good a psychic is, trusting a psychic over yourself and COMMON SENSE is flat stupid. I see a lot of reviews like this and it makes me so angry...its not healthy to throw your life into someone else's hands like this. And in all honestly, shame on Goddess Serenity for stringing her clients along like this! I just check up on certain psychics reviews when I'm bored, its mostly out of habit. You also didn't connect the best with her so you don't really have a reason to look at her page the way you might with Gaia or Astrid. IP: Logged |

I agree, sometimes we let the psychic dictate our lives - I know that after I have a reading I try to somehow make it happen the way the psychic said it will... last year when the psychic told me my Ex and I will get back together and I will travel to him in Nov/Dec - I didn't want to make any other travel plans because I actually thought that was going to happen (I feel really silly now!) - and nothing happened - at all! Good thing I changed my mind and ended up going on a small holiday... Now that I'm not having any readings (and it's only been 8 days lol) I feel that I'm creating my life instead of living through predictions - that is, I'm just doing a lot more things without thinking whether this will lead to a certain prediction happening or not - so much better! And yeah - I too go to GS (and Gaia's) page to read the reviews- I like reading when predictions come true... IP: Logged |
