Two stories and it's about the same person. I write on blank thank you cards, things that I want to manifest, but as an example it will be a person. I write physical features, qualities, etc, seal the envelope (addressed to: The universe) and tape it to the door I walk through the most in my house. I forget about it and time varies, but that person will manifest. Usually it doesn't turn into out well, because what I thought I wanted wasn't what I really needed, so we part ways.

So, I decided to do automatic writing and ask my guides who I need to manifest to help me grow. I did my auto writing back in April, didn't look at it and sealed the envelope. The guy found me on a social site, he felt familiar to me, so after we met, I opened up my envelop and deciphered the scribbling and symbols - even got his name and location.

The irony is, when he was talking to me about LoA, he read over the bottom section of his dating profile regarding what he wanted in a mate, physical qualities, personality, beliefs, hobbies. I laughed because he described me to a tee, down to polyglot, my physical features. He realized this and I told him he was missing one phrase "romantic connection".

So in that way, we manifested each other. We have a great friendship, but no romantic connection. He is helping me grow as a person, which is what I asked for.

--Another thing I do for manifesting is to keep a list in my journal. Things that I want, even if it's something small like a new shirt. Each time I get it, I cross it off and write thank you.

Thank you Psyche for sharing that link. There are so many good points in that article.

Letting go is one of the most difficult elements. Your example with "Matt" and attachment is classic. Many times when I talk to people about relationships or situations, the simple question of, "What do you miss about Matt?" They name "elements" about a relationship instead of aspects of the person themselves, which tells me that they have an attachment to that person but want the element. That's when it's time to reassess what one truly wants and not associate it with a specific person, then allow.

Gaia gave me a prediction for today. THIS VERY DAY! She told me to do something that I felt VERY uncomfortable with. It involved opening up and sharing my feelings with a person with whom sharing my feelings has backfired previously. She said, "yea ok. fine. that was then. but do it now! this time it will be different. it will shift everything. I am telling you to do this for a reason."

As sure as a hole is in most doughnuts, I fearfully and reluctantly did as she advised and the very outcome she predicted happened. Well, somewhat. I won't know the ENTIRE prediction for a while. But at least what she said would happen immediately after the discussion happened.

One point is that I was going to ask about someone else (french)- but before i ask, she picked up the first/previous guy from her description :/

A lot of what she said resonates but I have some doubts - (namely she said soulmate connection right from the start so I'm a bit wary) and the phrases could be general enough. She's straightforward and seems to practice LOA also in her advices (which I don't mind at all)

If anyone had any reading with her, I'm wondering if 'soulmate' is something she would commonly say to everyone lol.

I feel soooooo much better I don't feel so needy or even so bothered
I think that level of intense focus has made me feel way more confident
It's got rid of me making up stories in my head - bad things and just imagining bad scenarios because if I start I just repeat the he loves me mantra over and over and then forget them
And I've actually gotten quite confident in what in saying and myself and a bit bored of it that I reckon will actually be easier to let go anyway.

I don't think it's bad either I mean we are going to have thoughts about ppl we like may as well make them good not bad fears and stories. I mean iused to struggle with the ethical thing of law of attraction but then i thought again and i thought if we even believe it works its because we are saying everything is energy and our thoughts control our reality so if we are thinking about someone anyway and thinking bad things, self depreciating things, needy things, and repelling their energy its not really any harm thinking positive things that boost us and make us feel better and that have a positive outcome for us, I'm sure absolute detachment is the ultimate but while I'm still having thoughts of this person I'm going to at least make them positive only and see what happens.

Interestingly this guy is addicted to Whatsapp never seen him off it for more than absolute max 3 hours or the one time he got a long distance flight the duration of that

To go general is probably better I just find it easier to get into that state with someone I already know as it's easier
