Yeah TensionEmpire's post... I was gonna post there what I posted here but I realized that posting something about not derailing is derailing.

Damn that's one f*ck of a cookie! You know, I'm a massive ice cream fan more than anything. Mint chocolate chip! Mmmmmm What flavor do you like so I can get it just right?

Btw I also have the S4 but your camera is sooo much clearer than mine. I think I dropped it way too much... But idk

I like chocolate!
All kinds! Chocolate with fudge and chocolate chips...
I really like that Ben and Jerry's Phish Food. Mmmmmmmm
I see my thread was closed. Big surprise. Nice that they told me why, I mean, you know because it contained so much furious anger.
I think I know why and if I'm right, it's stupid.
Honestly, I don't care that it's closed. I said in it that I didn't really care if people replied. I would just like to know why and if that why is stupid.
That's the mentality that gets me into trouble.
Actions may be fine but if the motive doesn't match I will have just as much problem with it.

At the end of the day....
I got feedback that my apology wasn't necessary. It's still there so I guess I went above and beyond?
Either way...
My job is done. ANY... guilt that possibly be on my shoulders is lifted.

Funny that the fight was allowed to continue and continue. An apology gets cut off. Maybe I should start a conspiracy theory!
I think it was viewed as continuing the fight. Misunderstood is an understatement.

No need to comment on that.

Soooooo....

Ice cream...
They say that if you get "brain freeze" that you should hold your tongue firmly to the roof of your mouth. There's a nerve that gets cold and starts sending pain signals to the brain.
How Virgo is that?

Yeah, I was confused about that. I thought maybe it was moved to a different section... But it wasn't. Oh well, you did what you had to. Don't be too upset about it. I was proud of what you did and I think there isn't more to be done. All that's left really is to put into practice what you said!

And for that, this one's on me:

Sorry that it's virtual and you can't dig in but... Such is the confines of the internet world! But feel free to lick the screen

I know page 7! I was gonna bring that up and pop a bottle of sparkling grape juice (I don't drink at all, btw). So congrats to that. Maybe we should just make this our official derail thread.

And yes, that's extremely Virgo. I'm gonna try this soon and if it doesn't work. I'm coming after you. And you better hide......

Am I intimidating you? Apparently, my anger is funny because everyone just laughs when I'm angry and they think it's 'cute' and that makes me so mad. I'm NOWHERE near cute. I'm VICIOUS! And my anger is not to be taken LIGHTLY. I HATE PEOPLE! /endrant

Actually, cats keep pretty clean bunghole... The thought was gross but the actual was not so bad.
My reward - to be known as crazy. lol

I don't know if I could be authentic with my pretending to be angry. lol
There's a certain... Only see red kind of thing that can't be faked. I get into a zone. Plus... Like, I stay angry for a while. It's like a fire. It has to sit all night to let the embers cool. Haha

Soooooo....

What were you going to derail the thread with?

BTW, great idea to just keep it in here. LOL Otherwise I think we'll give Gem moons a bad name. Not that they don't already. Everywhere on LL that I've looked they are not all that well liked.
Which doesn't bother me.

So your moon is... 5th house? Is that right?
Mine is 9th. Well duh, you can see that.

That's true cats are clean! Still ballsy, not something I'd ever do!!! So does it feel great, having that prestigious title bestowed upon you (crazy!)? LOL

That was a purposefully nonsensical request, I meant it more as in... That would be a very interesting scene to watch though of course I just had to frame it so strangely...

You know, I totally forgot... There was *something* I was primarily going to derail the thread with but then I realized that's derailing so I was gonna post about managing to not derail in that thread (but also realized that's derailing) and now it's just poooof. Gone! So I forgot the initial reason that enticed me to derail

Really? Gem Moons aren't well-liked? You know, I used to really dislike Gemini so much so that I was upset when I found out about my Moon but then I'm like wait... If how I am is Gemini Moon, then it's GREAT! So I learned to really love it But yeah, let's keep it in here. Any random derailing urges or discussions... Since we already blew up this thread LMAO. If our current series of conversations run out, just check here periodically incase I say something. I'll do the same... Wait do you get a notification when someone posts on your thread?

Yes, sir. My Moon is in the 5th. I was gonna ask you about what it means having your Moon in the 9th, how does Gemini Moon work, for you, in that house?

Also, when I said I had a question about your work in my SP thread but said I'd ask you later... So it's really altogether a casual question but when you're at work, how are you on LL? Computer or phone?

Also, are you good with cars? I have a little dilemma that I was wondering if you could help with!

I feel like I'm really talking a lot. Perhaps because my surroundings are extremely quiet. Sorry if my many comments are overwhelming. Just do what you Virgo Mercuries do and filter out any redundancies.

Really,

without thinking... I just log and log. It's SORT of like intuition almost. Things just get logged a filed. Behaviors, responses/reactions to things, etc etc. Both in individuals and peoples behaviors/appearances etc. in general.
Patterns develop (unconsciously) and then I just "know" things. It's really weird... having virgo mercury in 12th.

At work, sometimes computer, sometimes phone, and sometimes I just don't have time. It depends on what's going on and I should be careful not to be on TOO much. I'd get in trouble. Well, probably just talked to really. They're pretty cool, but if your behavior is repetitive then eventually they'll come down on you (me LOL).

I don't get notified, but... I can always swing by and if it's bumped then I'll know. Plus I have this ridiculous habit of remember thread post counts. Yes, for what topics too. So I can kind of scan and know where the new posts started. I'm really strange like that.

Yes, I am pretty good with cars.
What problem are you having?

Have you noticed I'm of a more serious tone today. It happens!

Honestly, I am very annoyed your thread got closed too. It was a sincere gesture, and I appreciate the time you took to write it, you weren't obligated to do it in any shape or form.

I have a theory on this and why the "make sweet peas a safer place' thread 'accidentally disappeared,' but then this thread would get locked.

I actually was going to respond to your thread, but I needed to get work done and by the time I looked for it again, it was nicely closed without a reason. Odette's comment I could have done without, because unless you are witness to situation, you shouldn't be making assumptions about anything.

Anyways, I thought about replying in Sweet Peas or Hearth and Home but then that would have gotten locked too.

quote:
Firstly, I'd like to apologize for some of the things that I said. I tend to blame my mercury/mars conjunction, and maybe that's it and maybe not. Maybe it's just me. Either way, it's a battle for me sometimes not to say ridiculous things. I did say some ridiculous things. So for that, I apologize.

Thank you. And I apologize for indirectly making a flippant comment, it wasn't about making you upset or trying to push blame on you. We don't see eye to eye on Karka, so I won't touch that subject, but I didn't feel that I could directly discuss my concern with you directly because when you are emotionally upset- BOOM. The Mercury/Mars comes out and you are off to races. You have no chill when things go down

My comment was actually referring to the fact you have a lot to happy and proud about and why start picking a fight even if you feel the person doesn't have the best intentions. I understand though why you would be bothered by the comment, and you have every right to ask me about it. I am always open to discussion as long as we can talk about in a calm and constructive manner. Especially since you took me off guard- I woke up with a surprise to say the least.

Can I ask you a question- did something happen recently? The reason I ask is because it didn't seem normal for you to fly off the handle like that on me. Yeah, you are one of the more expressive ones during an argument, but part of me wonders if there is something else going on. You don't have to answer this if it is too personal.

quote:
However, I will not apologize for how I felt, as I feel the same today as I did before. Expressing those feelings went a little crazy, but I still feel them. It's not something that I will ever let go of unless my point of view is seen and my words understood.

You don't have ever apologize for how you feel about something, that is similar to telling someone to shut up because they are crying. You don't have to let go of your opinion either, you are entitled to feel how you want to feel.

For me, it wasn't about religion, and I honestly do not know your background and connection with faith, so if it is of high value to you (which I suspect), then do you. My comment was misinterpreted by Barbie- it was not a knock on religion. I was pointing out the flaw in the logic of Ami's comment, because based on her statement: 1) people who aren't religious lack morals, and 2) everyone who is religious has morals, which clearly isn't true. So what I probably should have edited in (and I couldn't because the next time I checked the thread it was closed), was that religion can provide morals for some, but that it is haphazard to think in black and white where we can only derive morals from being religious. That is more of a individual thing.

quote:
Another point, there's no need to duck and dodge and all that. The subject that the "fight" surrounded, WILL continue to be a forever spot that will provoke in me, a hasty, nasty engagement of you, but I'm sure not for reasons that you think. That's where we differ so much. If we could just see why the other is upset. Progress might be made, but we can't even manage to understand why the other is upset, exactly. But I suppose, my whole point is just to say, don't worry. I'm not going to run around snapping at you at every turn and all that. Don't worry about privacy, which, btw, I mean anyone who's not even a member of LL can find things via a Google Search. Just giving some awareness there, not trying to be a smart@ss.

Actually, I really haven't been ducking and dodging, but I can see why you think that. I will admit (and I'm sure you have seen) that I was bothered by the threat you made in the polyamory thread. I definitely don't think it was a malicious threat where you intended to do something really bad, but rather a comment that seemed to continue the fight. What you have to understand is that I have a history of dealing with stalkers, so I take comments like these very seriously. I don't play when it comes to stuff like this, because we never know who is behind the computer.

Honestly, the only reason I saw the comment is because I was interested in the subject and wanted to read more. I have been staying primarily in this forum because my mental energy isn't good right now and I need to focus on something that will take the internal energy and put it to constructive use. I haven't even opened this thread until now.

You are right though- I don't know the exact reasons why you will be prudent on this subject- educate me. Tell me why you feel the way you do. I think the last couple of weeks have proven that we can both be on this site without provoking each other or causing issues, so I am not worried about it. Whatever level of communication you want with me I can respect.

quote:
Lastly, no one ELSE need to somehow feel caught in the middle. That's a BIG thing that prompted me to do this as well. I don't want ANYONE to think, "Oh I'm close to so-and-so, so I better stay away from that other person." -none of that. We're all individuals and I can be adult enough to know where I have the problem and where I don't. If you've continually treated me well, and still treat me well, we're good. I hope everyone can be this way

I believe this is about PisceanDream? So my comment in the new thread of Faith's wasn't to divide people or start cliques or whatever you want to call it. Based on the comments in the thread, it was ill timing on Piscean's part and I didn't want the drama to start up again. I figured that if you saw the comments in the thread (and I don't know if you have), you might think I was trying to get people against you and didn't want the fight to continue. So I was a little tough on Piscean because I wanted to make sure her intentions were good, which I know now are.

I really have been low-key because of personal reasons, not because of words exchanged between us. You could say I am having a quarter-life crisis or so. That is why I haven't been on Astro 2.0, H&H, or Sweet Peas too much. So yeah the threat made a little uncomfortable, and that is simply because the first communication with FireMoon and you didn't go well and I figured I would get the same at some point.

I actually got your clues before though, I couldn't respond to your first reply earlier because the thread 'mysteriously deleted' itself. Again, I could have posted a response, somewhere but I guarantee you to it would have been locked. That is why I am responding here (and clearly) derailing, because this is logically the safest place to put a response. I also wanted to give you space so that after you calmed down you could rationally think things out.

quote:
Again I'll repeat, I'm not looking for a response. I'd almost prefer that you didn't, though you can. I'll know that you saw this and in the coming days or so, I'll know if it impacted you.

I know you are not, but when people make a gesture, I always reciprocate it because again you weren't obligated to respond. And it does deserve a response because it shouldn't have been locked. And subconsciously I believe you made the post because you needed some sort of answer or communication, which hopefully I have given you. You need to be heard, remember?

Believe me, if I thought you were a horrible person I wouldn't have taken the time to respond. So as far as I am concerned we are

I will say though I kind of regret making the post in this thread because I literally burned my retinas staring at the licked a cat's butthole admittance for several minutes.

P.S. on a scale from 1-10, how surprised are you that I replied?

Yes, I did notice your tone actually and I noticed it a few days ago as well. Since I'm still getting to know you, I'm kind of trying to intuit (I've been using this word a lot lately) you and your reactions/responses. Instead of assuming something has to be wrong or that you're in a bad mood. As you said, it happens... Perhaps if there were, something wrong, you'd discuss it, if you feel like?

I remember counts too haha!

Okay, so...

My car notified me that I have low tire pressure but last time it did this, I took it to the dealer and they said the tire pressure is just fine and that it happens when it starts to get colder, probably because pressure increases with heat and the inverse of that... This was yesterday.

Today, while I was driving, I realized that when I'm approaching 2nd gear, my car rattles. I noticed this ages ago but it was very very very subtle that I thought maybe it's nothing but now... I can feel it really rattle and I'm not sure why that happens. It's only as I accelerate into 2nd gear that this occurs. Do you have any idea what the cause might be?

BellaFenice, I think that's really nice of you. Everything you said. I'm glad that some of the beef on here is dissipating and simmering down. It's big of the two of you to take such a diplomatic approach to these kind of conflicts.

I'm a very easygoing and patient person in general. I get why you came to such a quick conclusion but it's okay really. I'm not one to gang up, take sides, or spread drama.

But, honestly, all of this really lifted my spirits and I'm so happy to see that things are working out.

Now let's throw a party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll have to respond much later as we've got some errands to run before we go to a show tonight.

But shortly, all good.
No worries about posting here and my intentions are to be kind and mend things a bit. Perhaps answer some of your questions and explain logically, calmly.... Why I behaved how I did.

But no worries and hopefully this thread doesn't get locked simply because they feel like it.

See ya later!

Oh, quick though. Your car.

The tire pressure deal. Oh yes, I have experience with this - cold and everything and I can tell you.
There is a sensor bad. They are on the other side of the tire stem, on the inside. (The valve that you fill it with) They have these... hard plastic diaphragms. They crack. When they crack, they don't read correctly. Well, they might be pretty accurate but you get what you described. When it hit around 50*F mine would act up. It's about $80, or it was for mine.
The thing is, if they rotated the tires and didn't reteach the sensors (which is done by telling it to learn and then letting air out) It may say for example, Left front is zero, but it may in fact be the Right rear, or Right front, or any of them. You just have to go around one at a time, fill or let air out and see which one changes to make SURE which one it is.
Hope that makes sense.

I now have a car that doesn't have them. An older car and I'm like, "YES!!"
I hate those things. I can watch my own tires, thank you. The EPA requires them now though for gas mileage.

Noises are very very tough, even with the car in front of you. What I thought of though, is when you go into 2nd, the RPMS drop, and there's more vibration at lower RPMS. As a test, you could rev up first a little more before you shift to see if it stops. You don't have to floor it, just let it stay in first a while longer. Just as a test.
Does it sound like a tin can? Like rattling a small rock in a coffee can or something?

I mean, I may not be able to truly help you here. Like I said, noises are tough even right in front of you but it made me think possibly a heat shield. I know there's likely one on the exhaust manifold to keep heat from reaching the cabin, and one underneath where the catalytic converter is. It's not uncommon for them to loosen and rattle like a piece of metal. OR, just the exhaust being loose somewhere.
POSSIBLY, even an exhaust leak. They sound funny sometimes. But that's where I'd start if I were looking at it. Being that it seems to me at least, it's rpm related.

Hmm, about the tires... Yes, makes lots of sense. I did have them rotated not too long ago but maybe as you said the sensors weren't calibrated in accord with the new tire placements. Well, I just reset the tire pressure to get rid of the notification but I will, just to be on the safe side, have it checked out. I'm really bad when it comes to all this technical stuff. Lord help me if my car broke down or if my tire went flat on the road...

As for the rattling, it's not really a sound, it's a movement... Maybe rattling was a bad choice of word... It's more of a tremor or vibration that I can feel. So like the car itself shakes instead of it being a shaking sound, if that makes sense. It's really strange. My car is relatively new too... So IDK. So what do you think that is?

But yeah, take your time responding. Thanks for the help

EDIT: How do you mean "rev up"? Dumb it down for little miss Arts over here.

That could be... Fouled spark plug or any number of things. Rough running under load or...
Yeah. Kind of where I'm going with that but could be lots and lots of things. I'm thinking it's running rough under certain conditions.

Anyway, I think she's just about ready to go.

Sooo...
I'm at... about 7.5 on that one. LOL

Well, just keep in mind, right or wrong, this was my point of view and it was my point of view that I reacted on. Cool?
Not to mean that I was actually right or wrong.

KQ, briefly... she just rubs me wrong. That's about as short and sweet as I can make it and I've had run-in's with her before. That's about it.

Now, YOU know that it wasn't about religion, yet I went to H&H and I saw all of these remarks about us and Christianity. That set me off too.
So my reaction, well... I've read that Pluto in Libra can be this way, as a generation. Mine of course, touching a personal point.
If I feel that something is not fair, or there's an injustice of some sort towards myself or someone I care about. (Actually if I see someone serving time and then being let out when they're not guilty too) It just SETS... ME... OFF. I remember one time, well, granted we were on the outs, me and this woman that I lived with in a LTR. There was more to everything but you know what set it off for good? She wanted me to do something, I did it. Somehow, she was just absolutely convinced that I didn't. She was angry, yelling, everything else when I in fact did what she asked. I loooooooooost it. I just went off on her. I didn't talk to her for 6 months after either. Though like I said, much more was going on there. So don't think I'm crazy, though, I might be.
I hate that though. It's one of my top TOP things that will get me crazy. If I'm going to be attacked, disliked, or anything of that nature, it damn well better be for something that I deserve, or for the correct thing I mean. Which, I'm not saying it WAS this or that. Again, that's just the way that I saw it at the time. I can't stand being falsely accused.

Then, unfortunately... once I get going. With something that so powerfully moves me, I don't stop. My will is STRONG and I just keep going until someone cries uncle. I always think of myself like a big male lion. (Oh being a Leo is truly awesome sometimes!) If it's on, if it's worth doing, it's worth dying for.
I don't mean that literally, but that's the mentality.

Anyway, at this point, all the little details, going over what actually happened, etc. It's really unnecessary, I think. Right? I mean, it happened and even if we can't see eye to eye, it's not important. It's not a life changing event or anything.

But that's a glimpse anyway, into why, and what drove me.

All good though, we're

Ugh I hope! I don't have time to go to the dealer until Tuesday. Let's hope my car doesn't explode by then...

Also... Posting at 1:22 AM huh!?
You really are on vacation
Hope you're having fun!

EDIT: Okk I know what revving is. I'm gonna do that right now. In this cold-a$$ morning.

Yeah, you rev it, and you show that car who's boss! Make it beg!
IDK what's wrong with me... LOL

I think you'll be fine. Heeeeeeeeey.... it's not a Toyota/Lexus is it? I just heard something about them reprogramming some of them for that vibration/Shaking between 20-30 mph because they've had a lot of complaints.
If it is a Toyota/Lexus, then maybe that's it.
Buuuuuuut anyway... I think you'll be ok. I don't think that you have to worry about it blowing up or anything like that.
Though if you don't figure it out you may feel like blowing it up.

Vacation is on! It doesn't feel like it yet, but it's here. I had fun with my best friend. Barbie, not so much but it was alright. Just not her thing.

Oh moon in the 9th.

It baffles me because some of what I read about it doesn't make sense to me. However, if I tie a few other things together, it does.
My squares to 12th, and my sextile to sun in the 11th, Uranus trine from the 2nd, Scorpio.
I think that's what gives me a bit of my.... well what I've posted here about life. In this thread, and TensionEmpire's thread, and your motivation thread. I think that's related.... 9th (reaching out, higher thinking), 12th (meanings of life, spiritualism), 11th (humanity). Uranus I think just adds some crazy in there, or... maybe that willingness to view things in different ways.
Plus, I don't know how to explain it (logically) but my dad was sag sun, Cancer moon, Scorpio Venus, Gemini mars. My mom and Step mom, and some of my dad's sisters even... sometimes I'd say something, or feel a certain way, or even have a habit and tell me, "You're just like your dad!" I didn't even know, but I guess I say things he used to say, walk like him, have his attitude sometimes.
IDK...
But anyway, that's how I feel about it. My 9th, as you said, serves the 12th. So it reaches out to those things related to the 12th. Right?
That's when you get those things that I've posted here. (If I'm looking at this right)
