So the tan guy AV was talking about was a Hispanic male that I briefly dated a while back...aka the blast from my past. I can't believe I didn't put two and two together. Once again AV was right he contacted me today. This guy will not stop. I have a feeling this is the guy I'm "supposed to be with" I don't even want to ask. @ILovePoems- I've tried to hide my feelings before so the guy wouldn't know how much I really did like him. I've been head over heels for a guy and I kept it cooler than ice..and to be honest I wish I had showed my true feelings at that time.IP: Logged |

So I ordered a reading for as and asked about my career... He's really nice but told me a person should never ask about what they should be doing bc the universe or something wants u to find out on ur own ... It was the most general reading I have had. All he mentions is that I'm an old soul and should help people bc he thinks I have healing abilities ... The adjectives he used to describe sound like some sun sign description lols. Somewhat disappointed so debating if I should ask him about my past life with my bf :/ IP: Logged |

I have been very distant with people I'd had feelings for, but I've also been just as distant with people I knew liked me, but I didn't have those same feelings for them.The common outcome was that for whatever reason, I didn't want to pursue a connection with those people at the time. You can't go wrong if you follow your own intuition /do what will make you happy. Don't worry about whether your actions will affect the outcome of a prediction. IP: Logged |

@Sophia - glad to hear that AV was right! I know what you mean though, AV predicted I'd meet someone this month, but wouldn't really be into him at first (not very exciting lol). But we would eventually date after a while. I find it a little hard to believe as I can't see myself getting to the point of dating if I'm not into someone - but who knows - I guess I'll just have to wait and see. @IlovePoems- Yes, I was distant. I would only respond if the guy contacted me. Looking back it was all childish of me but I was trying to play hard to get..smh Now I make sure it is known if I'm into a guy. @ lilacbreeze- Yes!!! It is so hard for me to "pretend" I am all about instant connections or this tingly feeling. Whyyy can't I just be into someone who is madly into me lol That is great that you will have a new guy in your life. Hopefully these guys will grow on us? Maybe? So I got my reading from destiny (fiverr) and um it was very very short. He answered each question with one sentence basically. As far as his time frame , he predicted 8-10 weeks for contact from "R" Steve, Av, and Eterna said june/julyIP: Logged |

I was just about to write this. I'm distant from guys that like me -- especially those that keep bugging me whenever I try being friendly with them. That's exactly why I don't talk to my fwb. If I try being even a little friendly, he will bring up coming over and "spending time with me" instead of having a friendly chit chat. I'm in love with him, but we haven't said a word to each other since the 26th (the last time he contacted me). I rarely initiate contact towards him either.. @Sophia - yes! I'm all about the instant connection too. I don't know - maybe it'll be a situation where he'll be around me like at work etc and it will take me a while to feel the attraction? otherwise, i just know how i am and if i meet someone and don't feel that connection - i will avoid contact / and definitely wouldn't agree to a date. maybe this why im still single lol. In any case, keep us posted on how things go for you in the romance department!@Empress - aww that must be so hard. have you guys had "the talk" about strictly keeping it fwb? it can be hard once something is established to try and change things - because as you said, there's a chance it could end. Though, who knows - like Fairy said, maybe he's feeling the same way?

 to everyone on the free will explanation responses. If you're as fascinated by all this stuff as I am, the podcast is on Skarlet Rae's facebook pages. It's about two hours long but she goes into some pretty neat stuff. I could listen to intuitives talk about their lives all day. Haha.And about acting in a way that looks lke you don't have feelings when you do -- I held back about my feelings for a while with someone as I wanted to be really careful. So yes, I think many times people can, probably for many different reasons, have feelings for someone and not act on them. And there's not a lot you can do in that situation besides give them the space they are (silently) asking for. You could try being aggressive or assertive, but chances are that would only create additional resistance. People have to come to terms with things on their own time, via their own inner guidance. That kind of explains how some readers try to explain free will as an explanation for timing not coming through. Maybe they aren't so eloquent, but it makes sense.
I read a different interpretation on free will that I liked. Basically we have the free will to act as we choose, not even God knows what we'll choose to do and that's what makes it interesting. Otherwise what is the point if everything is predetermined? If we use the example with the dad and the carnival - the event 'going to the carnival' is predetermined.
However, the daughter may not want to go at all, or decides to go on one ride or decides that this time she'll tackle the scary ride she didn't have the courage to try before...
All these options are available - and until she decides what she wants to do its unknown - there are only options. Not even dad knows what will happen. I do believe that we are to meet certain people in our lives and that must happen but what we do once we meet them, that's up to us. We have free will because what's the point otherwise? Instead we make mistakes, learn, expand... That's what I think...
