Both SR Ascendants in (or cusp) the 6th.. I suppose having Sagitarius Rising would be nicer. In either chart, the SR-Ruler lands in the 2nd House.Having a Venus Return simultaneously. IP: Logged |

I’m currently in Dallas, temporarily. I’ve been visiting my mother here since the holidays. These are solar return charts from either here in Dallas or if I were to fly to LA next week.If I were to fly to LA I could stay extendedly if I wanted to as I have few friends who would be happy to host me but I’ve put their invitations on hold. Maybe the SR would be a fine excuse to make the trip out earlier than anticipated. I’d stay at least a week. The flight isn’t expensive rn and I’ve honestly nothing pressing to do either way. If the Dallas SR is better I’m happy to spend my birthday here with my mom.  With that said, regarding “relocating” for solar returns, I don’t plan to stay/hiatus in Dallas for much longer, at some point in the next months I’ll be moving (again). Last year was also Sagitarius (Jupiter rising) SR. IP: Logged |

Well looking at Dallas, because that is where you currently reside, SR ASC Jupiter is in fall position and in the Second which is really about staying put vs. traveling so it’s not strong for travel. However the second does represent real estate so finances and property will be a theme this year. Moreover, your SR ruler of long distance travel (relocation) is the sun which isn’t in strong dignity either. It is in the 3rd indicating some short travel trips but I don’t see permanent relocation here. If your question is more for the short-term you might fare better casting a horary than actually looking at the solar return. But honestly, if we were just looking at a SR, I would stay in Dallas because the sigs aren’t showing strong dignity or placement. Just my opinion. IP: Logged |

In Dallas, you make the influence of Neptune stronger (by locating it on a house cusp). ... In Los Angeles, you make the influence of Pluto stronger (by locating it on a house cusp).So ... (visibly) confused 3rd-house communications with colleagues, and forcing own 2nd-house values onto others (Dallas) vs (visibly) forceful 3rd-house communications with others, and 4th-house insecurity in the career (Los Angeles). thank you you two! I too sense that Dallas is a better fit energetically. Ok I’ll stay put for now@graham Neptune conjunct the IC stood out for me as well, considering the SR IC/MC would square my natal nodes. @tgem I’ll be moving either way this year. Sun is permanently in my 9th house 😉 Although the SR-Ruler isn’t dignified, it makes a lot of aspects by conjunction, shall see what this might entail. with that said, looking forward to 2nd house momentum..I’ve been thinking about real estate and small business loan, professional establishment etc so good because I would like to make a plan of action on how to settle down roots somewhere... though the Neptune/IC probably will make it elusive for some time. Aside from the natural transits... curious what SR2nd over 7/8th represents. I don’t want to get “into business” with anyone, perhaps it’s with the public.. though I’d think the 1st house would elaborate that possibility Sun in 3rd house will be helpful because I’m still wishing to gain a few different certifications, namely C1 Level German and potentially more school if meant, networking. Which house rules scholarship money? 11th—2nd from 9th? In the Venus Return Chart, NN is in the 2nd House

Perhaps Neptune will manifest positively here ... with the conjunction to natal Mercury focusing upon artistic creativity. ... So far I’ve stayed this long in Dallas largely due to the pandemic. I have plan to return to LA in May, but I am today reconsidering all together despite a living and potential work situation already situated there. The reason being is I can continue to save money better by living with my mother a few more months. My close friends and mother are vehemently urging me to move to LA for the sake of an already established professional network there and “getting on with it (not delaying my life purpose any longer)”, but as my SR shows, building my finances, sense of security, is at the forefront of my mind. Criticism about “selling myself short” is coming up for me. The Taurus New Moon conjuncts SR Uranus in a few days, ruler of the SR 3rd House--activating the SR AND Natal sextile to Sun, trine to Mars. Throughout the month of Taurus, there is a trine to this 2H SR Stellium On May 17th, I have my Progressed Lunar Return. The transit Sun is at 26 degrees Taurus this day, opposite my natal Pluto. On June 8th, my monthly lunar return replicates my solar return.

Update for those interested in observing solar return chart in motion: I’m moving [back] overseas [permanently]. transiting Sun will be at 28°33 Leo the day I leave for Greece on 21-Aug. the SR 9H ruler passes through SR 9H Tr. Sun opposes SR Sun
Tr. Sun sesquiquadrate SR Moon and SR Venus
Tr. Sun trine SR Mars and SR Neptune
Tr. Sun quincunx SR Saturn

thank you, both. i’m in Wien. a bit satisfied it’s covid times because I don’t feel pressure to participate socially yet, can relax, improve language, get a lil fat in hibernation instead, figure out what has called me here..
it’ll be the second or third time I’ve spent holidays alone, but can anticipate at least celebrating for one at the lfamous Weihnachtstraum; glühwein and germknödel in each fist
