Wow, this really makes a lot of sense Emsie. We have been on the edge of breaking up... With me trying really hard for a resolution with him. Now that I had made the decision to leave it for good, for the sake of my own well-being, he came back recognising he has made a lot of mistakes and wanting to have the talk that I've been trying to have with him for so long.

What you mention in 3. is how I used to feel for most of our relationship... How he made me feel, and I'm pretty sure in the begginingish he has told me something along those lines...

As per the money card, I think he is going through a lot of work and debating some relevant decisions regarding it too... Such as moving abroad to earn more etc...
