Hi, my Saturn Return has just ended (HUGE sigh of relief). I was wondering if someone could give me an astrological reading for the coming year on career and finance, as those will be my main focus. I’m not necessarily looking for a romance reading, but if anything significant jumps out at you, do feel free to tell. I’m currently an electrical engineering student. I’ve been working hard on this degree, but it’s been almost like a nightmare during my Saturn Return. I don’t want to quit, because I think my struggles with it are temporary and caused by things other than the major itself, but it’s been a long time since I started on this path and I’m eager to be doing something I feel is aligned with my soul. I think this degree will open up more opportunities than quitting will, but I would appreciate a second opinion. Below is my natal chart. IP: Logged |

Were you born on 7th April 1989 ... or on 4th July 1989?And what maximum orb are you allowing for your Saturn Return? IP: Logged |

Based on your location in Austin, Snake Lady, I believe you're using the North American syntax for dates. So I believe this is the correct chart -- yes or no? If so, your Saturn return, in longitude and declination, has been over for about a year. The Saturn return is a transit aspect, referring to its return to its position by degree. In my experience no more than a 5.5° orb of longitude (1° in declination) should be used. I'll let you confirm/correct the chart's date before commenting further. ------------------ Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations Guy: Expert birth chart rectification IP: Logged |

Yes, the correct date is July 4th and that is the correct chart! Thank you.Yes, I guess the exact transit has been over for about a year now, but since Saturn just went into Aquarius I’ve been feeling significantly different and full of possibility and wanted to see what’s in the stars for the year. Since Kannon is a professional astrologer; made the effort to post your chart and stated his intention to make further comments, I am respectfully awaiting that additional input from him ... as it is likely to be more useful/helpful than any comments made by me. IP: Logged |

I wouldn't mind your input in the meanwhile, Graham. It won't dilute or ruin any possible future readings. I'm a (budding) astrologer too but have trouble reading my own chart, so I always appreciate different perspectives. IP: Logged |

Your Saturn Return was on 24th December 2018 ... at 17:39pm in Nirisaki, Japan and 02:39am in Austin, Texas ... 08:39am (UT).Please draw that chart (as a natal chart) for the place you were actually in, at the time of your Saturn Return ... and post it here. IP: Logged |

Hi Snake Lady,I looked at your solar return chart at Austin, but for the year 2019, because in my experience we actually experience solar returns to their full effect, a year after. So I can see pressure from education in that chart for your year of 2020-2021, because the 5th ruler (house of higher education) in that chart is sitting in the 4th house, an uncomfortable house for that planet (Saturn). The course of Saturn hardship and pressure runs for an approximate duration of 3 years, but the fact is that you will achieve a lot during this period, so definitely do not give up, and expect things to start running more smoothly by 2022. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ instagram: @eloquent__sky

With Jupiter ruling your natal MC/10th house (of career), maybe your Jupiter Return Chart will also be worth looking at.31st May 2013 at 20:45pm (LT) in Austin Texas ,,, 1st June at 01:45am (UT). ... (And active until 2025.) IP: Logged |

Yes, actually that was an incredibly important time for me... That was when I decided to get my education and started taking classes part time. I had a Mercury Return on the same day, maybe give or take a few days... I was in Austin at that time as well, so if you could look at that Jupiter Return chart with relevance to this year especially, that would be really great. Do you need me to post the chart here? It would be helpful if you could post the Jupiter and Saturn Returns for the date+time I have quoted - with Austin as the location. IP: Logged |

Thanks, Graham! I have no idea how to delete the header on the pictures since they're on a webpage. The only other thing I can think of is to download them, crop them, and then post them to some website where I can link to them, but I don't have time to do that right now. I'm open to ideas, but I'm not in a rush... would rather figure out the header thing later. IP: Logged |

[NOTE FOR INFORMATION : In the astrological community generally, opinions are divided upon the usefulness/validity of Return Charts. ... However, I consider them to be valid, and to describe the unfolding of the returning-planet's NATAL "promise" for the period during which it will be active ... I also believe that, as stand-alone charts (rather than transit-to-natal charts) the astrological indicators in Return Charts should be analysed, interpreted and synthesised in the same way as natal charts.] Before looking at the Jupiter Return itself (as a stand-alone-chart), we need to ascertain what is "promised" by Jupiter in your NATAL chart. And, in the natal chart, Jupiter rules your Sag/10th house of career; jointly (with Neptune) rules your intercepted Pisces (in 1st house of self-awareness) and is conjunct Mercury (in Gemini/4th house of foundations) ... with these two planets semi-sextile Moon (in Cancer/6th house of paid work) and trine North Node (in Aquarius/1st house of self-image). As the slowest-moving planet in the conjunction, trine and semi-sextile ... Jupiter is shaping/"educating"/modifying both Mercury and Moon. ... However, the slower-moving North Node is the "governor" here - using Jupiter to achieve its own Aquarius/1st house Soul-development objective. So, the "natal promise" of Jupiter is to make a significant contribution towards the achievement of that NN objective in the current lifetime ... by changing your instinctive/habitual Mercury-Moon behaviour. ... And, it will do this "educating" primarily through a career (10th) from which you receive an income (6th). ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ If we now apply Noel Tyl's Midheaven Extension Process to your Jupiter Return Chart ... we see (from the dispositor chain of the Virgo MC) that "job satisfaction" will come from a career which makes use of the qualities of your Mercury, Moon, Jupiter and Neptune - expanding/developing (Jupiter) inspired (Neptune) ideas (Mercury) that you feel strongly about (Moon). So ... what kind of job/career (in the field of electrical engineering) would enable you to be actively involved in creating something new? IP: Logged |

I posted them again, though I don't have an image-hosting site right now and don't have a lot of time to make an account with one yet. I believe you could save the images from here if you wanted to... IP: Logged |
