I am beginning to think that my free-will is overriding most of my astrological placements, the more I am reading about the planets in the signs the less I am agreeing with the information. There are only like two or three that I agree with the others we have discussed are so far off it's not even funny. I gues this just another instance of my personality and it's need to defy definition and catagorization. I never fit the mold, even when the mold is supposed to be made to me specifications. I believe that everyone within themself. Has a feeling that they have done that before are it's going to happen. Just like the 12 house (subconscious, privacy, past karma.)These are thing that is going to happen, Even if it is good or bad. You can't change these things. But you could learn from it. If someone believe thats you can learn from their past or future. Then when it comes to Destiny and Fate you will see that these two words is a learning tools. I have always written down thing that seems to happen to me before or things that are coming my way. Even if I know I didn't do this in my present life time. From my own journal Which I been doing since I was 10 years old)! When I was 12 years old I was riding down this road in south Louisiana with my mother. I told her that I been here before. She laught at me, cause she know there was no way I travel on these road. But I told her that I could see myself in these yellow car, going real fast and real upset. I was hit by a big truck. My mother at this point pulled over and turn the car off. She had a crazy look in her face. I remember her asking me how could I've know this. I told her I could see everything. I could see the tire on the driver side of my car started peeling back. And I couldn't hold the wheel. And I could see some bright lights ahead of me. At that point the car went to the other lane. And that's when a truck hit the side of my car and the car went flying over into some trees. My mother told me that this was her and she was 4 months pregnant with me. And she was very upset about my father and she was in an accident with a truck. And the car she was in was yellow. So I do believe in things. Everyone has asked themself or said I've done this before. But this is a great subject!!!! IP: Logged |

My understanding is: the natal chart shows our strenghths and weaknesses and we can use our free will to improve on that. Karma to me is something we can incorperate in out everyday lives by doing something good sincerely without expecting anything in return. If that make s sense IP: Logged |

My understanding is that free will is your choices that you make and karma is the result of those actions. In this lifetime or the next you will experience the results in one way or another.

I don't believe that free will exists. Now I'm not talking from a faith's point of view, rather from a psychological point of view combined with what studies that have been done on evolution. We like to think we have a free will, I can agree with that. But how much of our "free will", really is free will? We act mostly on impulse, and even if we don't we act upon our likes and dislikes. Most of the choices we make have their basis deep within our unconscious. And what is our unconscious, if not a place in our minds which we cannot control? So in the end, the basis of our free will lies in a place that we can't control. Which makes free will a contradiction in terms... I believe we can choose, but we end up choosing that which, in the end, is most benificial for us. Again, our unconscious won. We might have free will, but no one is going to choose a path that they don't like, just to prove a point, would they? (I might, but that's an entirely different matter... ) I know a lot of people say that Astrology undermines free will, but I don't think so. Natal Astrology, in my humble opinion, is pretty much a representation of our unconscious and more conscious personality. The changes made when we grow up into our mature personality are the result of our social interactions and experiences and what we are, decides what we want. Not much of a choice there, really. No? Anyway, I'm rambling again. IP: Logged |

I can share experience, strength and hope about free will and how does this relate to astrology. And, how reincarnation and karma fit into the equation from Linda Goodman point of view from Linda Goodman's star signs. I met soulmate when I was dealing with water contamination and because of the choices that is free will that our Higher selves made we met.I have come to believe that soul-mates are predestined from experience. Listening to intuition, I met my soulmate for the third time at Sydney International Airport because of a dream but I acted on the dream information and our paths crossed because of our Higher selves. Free will of Higher selves played a major part in our paths crossing also, we recognized each other because of psyche connection. Reincarnation, fate, destiny, free will and karma also played a role in bringing us that is, soul-mates together. IP: Logged |

How we first met that is soulmate and myself was exactly out of the introduction by Linda Goodman Love signs about soulmate meeting. It was love at first sight, first by hearing our voices and recognizing a similar chord in our voices and than by the windows of the soul eyes. That for me is proof of astrology, free will and destiny as posted in previous post.IP: Logged |

Tell more about your love at first sight encounter... i met soulmate at Bankstown city library on September 2006 when i was investigating water contamination. what i didn't know at the time was that he was undercover and investigating water contamination and much, much more. i was sitting down reading a book when i heard his voice first and couldn't see him through the large print book shelves. But his voice was so familiar that i wanted to see who was talking behind the book shelf that i got up and walked over to see who it was and i got a shock. When we looked at each other we were both in shock and i thought to myself he's the most beautiful soul i have ever met when i looked into his eyes. Our eyes, windows of the soul, were in shock. Later, after the initial shock i realised that it was love at first sight. But, i didn't realise that how we met was exactly like out of Linda Goodman love signs until i re-read love signs months later after we first met.IP: Logged |
