Aries ascendant

Aphrodite, I'm not so good at recognising the looks of a sign (not really studied it as yet)...Hmm do you really think I look like a Vigo Rising? That's interesting as a friend of mine who is "big time" into astrology always says she thinks I look like Libra rising......

But that's Venus conjunct my asc influence

I am going through the album and looking at the pictures of several Virgo Risers: You, Randall, and Pidaua. Along with my ex, I noticed that there is a gentle, kind, and quiet look in the faces. Especially in the eyes. But I would think your Venus and Sun modify your looks. Sun is Leo's planet, so may be your Virgo rising takes on a more pronounced look. I am not really sure. But this is fun to do!

Plus, from reading many of your posts, you don't seem like a Libra Rising to me. I had a best friend in high school who was this sign, and had a huge stellium in the first house of Libra, and a friend right now who is also Libra Rising, so I have an idea of what Libra Risings are like.

There are several Scorpio Risers in the album: Rainbow, Donna (a guess), Proxime (don't know where her pictures are now, I couldn't find them), and you.

From what I know, it seems Carlo and I are the only Cancer Risers in the album.

I don't know the first thing about progressions..

But I am a Gemini Rising and I have never been slender, always curvy (and round in many areas). But I do have a thin neck, even eyebrows (I've never plucked, waxed or done anything to them), and a thin-bridged nose. I also have terrible coordination, as I have never been very good at sports and shyed away from them as a result. I wish I had a better picture of my nose b/c I think it looks very similar to N_wEvil's nose (weird observation, right? but we have the same Sun/Asc.) I REALLY wish I had a digital camera or scanner. I'm hoping to get one for the birthday.

A lot of Scorpio risings I know have an almost squinty, dark look about their eyes.

Virgo risings (I know know 2 off-hand, both male and one is a Taurus Sun/Leo Moo and the Other is a Libra Sun/Gemini Moon) are both on the short-side, with a very nice-guy look about their faces (almost boyish). Also slim.

I know a couple of Libra Risings-one is a Virgo Sun/gemini Moon and looks very Virgo to me! Another is a Leo Sun/Aries Moon and has a pretty fleshy face, but small even features. The other one is a Taurus Sun/Cappy Moon and she also has small even features. The Leo and Taurus both have small eyes and eyebrows, and small mouths. The Virgo looks totally different.

yes the laugh lines around almond shaped eyes is true and thick hair..hmmm, so how are we supposed to know what is currently our rising. I have identified alot with the scorp rising as to where all my strong emotions come from, but who knows, maybe I am wrong, can someone please help out, thanks a gazillion!
