This is supposedly a great ritual for anyone uncertain about a career decision.

It should be carried out on a Full Moon night when the moon is clearly visible in the sky.

You will need:

2 blue candles
Lavender oil
a ceramic bowl
clear spring water (bottled water will do)

Stand at a window from which the moon is visible. Light the candles and pour the water into the bowl. Add 4 drops of Lavender oil. Then take the first candle and allow the wax to fall into the water. Do this with the second candle also. Then repeat twice: "Full fat moon, let me dream of the job I should do soon." (Though, personally, I wouldn't recommend calling her fat in the same breath you ask her for a favour. )
Go to bed. When you wake the next morning, quickly make a note of any dreams you remember. Then take a look at the bowl. See whether the wax has formed any shapes you can recognise or interpret. Use your imagination to interpret what you see. For example, if you see books, you might want to go ahead and enroll as a teacher.

Create or find a charred stick. You will also need a few dried rose petals & a piece of paper.

Using the charred part of the stick as you would a pencil, draw two inter-linked hearts on paper as you visualize yourself enjoying a satisfying relationship. Draw with power.

Hold the rose petals in your projective hand & send fiery, loving energies into them. Sprinkle the petals over the linked hearts. Do this with power.

Wrap the package around the petals. Still visualizing, throw the package into a fire. (Or, light it in the flame of a red candle & throw into a heat proof container.)

As it burns, the power is released.

1. place bowls of sea salt all over your house

2. next, smoke all areas of the home with dried sage. usually sold as a bundle tied with thread, light a small corner on the bundle and it will smoke. (i do this with all the windows and doors open).

3. light several sticks of myrhh incense. this will intensify the ritual and spread good feelings for help.

Write a letter to a distant friend as if you were going to mail it. Next, light a blazingly hot fire & throw the letter into it, firmly visualizing the person's face.

There are gods and goddes up there... some correspondences, etc. I don't have spells up there, though! I have a thick Book of Shadows I've been putting together for years now. I have a GREAT beauty spell that I use for very very special occasions. It's called a Glamoury. I found it in one of my spell books.. I can post it if anyone is ineterested =D

Best Timing: After dark, Friday or Sunday, May 1, August 1, November 1, February 1

You will need:
**a mirror on which the light of a full moon has falen
**a green candle
**an orange candle... red can be substituted
**some sort of talisman to trigger the spell's action, a neck chain or a ring or something of that nature.

Do this spell alone and at night to get the shapeshifting aspect deep into your subconscious. Facing West also helps.

Place the mirror in front of you and the two lighted candles behind you, one to each side so that the candles and the mirror form a triangle with you at its center. You don't want the light of the candles to actually be reflected in the mirror. You just want enough soft li ght coming from behind so that you only see yourself in the mirror's surface. Your face will be dark.

Hold the talisman in your hands while you close your eyes and relax before the mirror. When you are ready, open your eyes and gaze softly at your muted reflection. Begin to visualise your image taking on the desired form. Don't be alarmed if your reflection appears to be in motion, taking on a new character.

Seal the spell by putting the talisman on your body and repeating a rhyming chant for as long as you feel necessary. Here is the chant included in the book, but of course you can make your own.

From burrow dark and lakeland deep,
Tuatha slumbering rise from sleep.
Sometimes here, now sometimes there,
What I will is the face I wear.

Body lithe and firm and slender and tight,
Lovely by day, sexy by night,
Irresistible to all who see,
I draw the eye from thee to me.

Beauty, charisma, sex appeal,
All attention do I steal,
Perfect form and haunting face,
Never my image falls from grace.

I haunt the thoughts and dance through the mind,
Of those who in my smile I do bind,
Infatuated all are with me,
Because they see what I want them to see.

Face like a goddess, eyes like flame,
Head surrounded by a golden mane.
Drawn by a power to which I hold the key,
This glamour makes me what I want to be.

Extinguish the candles and cover them to protect their energy until you choose to do the spell again. Whenever you want to project the glamoury image of yourself to the world, don the talisman and repeat the quatrains of the charge.

Okay, how about...love?! Also...beauty, confidence, healing, protection.

I'm interested in a question Starlover asked back at the beginning too...have people had success with these spells and what makes them successful? I definitely think BELIEVING is the key. I have only done some very minor things...more like visioning...and some cleansing rituals, but I know I have to BELIEVE ("live a lie" as Linda says) to produce the MIRACLE ("claim a lie"). Must be the lexigrammer in me.
