So here is a possibility - without touching any physics. My theory of how a Virtual Time Machine could be built. The Virtual Time Machine takes the subject into regression - which an actual human being could perform. So the subject goes into his past lives - travel into the past - which could be done for the future as well. He can be guided into a state of lucid awareness. Think of it as similar to the s-elf hypnosis audio cassettes that are available today. The Regression Machine is advanced enough to be sensitive to the patient's state of mind and guide him accordingly. IP: Logged |

Hi Raj That's really interesting Have you ever had regression therapy? I personally haven't but I do know some people who have and it was quite amazing. Sue IP: Logged |

I sat in this bubble-type chair in Sedona, that had an incredible speaker system. The chair was oval...like a bubble with a hole cut out so you could get in, the speakers surrounded you and they had a regression tape playing in it. WOW!!! is all I can say!! I came out of there almost disoriented....like my body was here, but my spirit was still traveling. Very very intense. ------------------ Hugs,LTD ~~The struggle keeps us young~~Daring to make mistakes and knowing there are none.~~DGM IP: Logged |

Hi all,I have been trained in hypnosis and past life regressions and I can tell you that raj is on the right track. You can, through hypnosis, also go into a future life. This isn't so strange if you've read Linda's readings, Raj. Seems like life isn't linear but perhaps spiral :-) One thing that surprised me is that we seem to have a theme in our past lives. A theme we keep working on in various ways! Dick Sutphen, the person I studied with, had a theme of religion vs. self actualization. I had a theme of always grappling with responsibility and not getting to do what I thought I wanted. Whether or not one actually truly relives a past life seems almost unimportant. The journey is useful in helping to figure out the roadblocks in this life. And yes, raj, some did go into future lives!

I view future Lives from a different perspective. In my view, our natal charts reflect who we were, who we are, and who we are growing to be. It's a celestial Map. We choose the Map we need at that point in our Soul's growth. In order to get the Map we need, we may have to go into the future or the past (if viewed from a false linear perspective). So, my last Life may have been many years in the "future" in relation to the current one, and my next Life may be many years in the past. That way, Immortals can still have "future" Lives. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Yeah, Randall,Time is deceptive. That's why I think of it as a spiral. We, on Earth, seem to need to look at time as linear, but that is because of our own limits and perception. There are those who think we are living all of our lives at once and those who think it's linear. I try to look at it this way....I see the light from a star at night. That light actually left that star in the past. I'm looking at it in the present, to that star, this is the future! To use an old '60s phrase, It Blows My Mind! Randall, explain more about your thoughts on our natal chart and reaching into the past or the future to create this chart. I'm interested. ------------------ In Peace, Ria IP: Logged |

I like the star analogy! We simply choose whatever "time" we need to get the natal charts we require. Past/present/future (from the point of the current linear illusion) make no difference. And some of it is related to relationships and choices other Souls make (where we agree to tag along). ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you."
