The most famous character in the annals of Crime fiction - Sherlock Holmes. It is one of the common mis-takes to theorize before one has data. Insensibly, one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. Sherlock Holmes
Prodigy is common sense expanded. Sherlock Holmes
Once you have eliminated all the impossibilities, whatever remains however impossible must be the Truth. Sherlock Holmes

Hmm his date of birth as per the fiction seems to be 6th January 1854 - which makes him a Cappy. Pity Arthur Conan Dyle didn't know astrology. He must have been an Aquarius. No idea what a chart might bring up.IP: Logged |

GUILTY!!! Sherlock bored me. AllI know is what I saw on A&E *G*I looked up his chart though on Astro.com usuing 12:12 (noon) as his birth time annnd under personal portrait it says . . Sun in Capricorn *Beams* and Moon in Aries "you have the abilities to concentrate, conserve, and persevere, you make the perfect organizer" "The key to a more harmonious existence lies in tempering your self-assertive and egotistical tendencies, " This birthtime also give shim Uranus cnj. his ASC. (Taurus). He had a VERY Fixed routine didn't he? With his pipe and his fiddle? an stuff? I knwo he seemed very fixed to me. Also with this birthtime his sun is in the tenth house .. "Publicly you appear as a vital, proud, powerful person." "Your liabilities include an exaggerated pride, arrogance and a tendency to rely too much on your own resources" Venus in the 11th "You strive for peace and harmony and if it were left up to you the whole world would be more humane, kind, and considerate. In your more personal relationships, Venus gives you the capability of obtaining substantial gain and assistance through your friends, who will desire to assist you with the best of intentions" Annnnnnnnd Moon in the Twelfth "Secretly, you enjoy a love of romance and adventure that lends a bit of excitement to your daydreaming. It is possible that the little popularity that you may enjoy in this life will be from some very reserved and secretive circles where your merits are recognized. Bye Bye It can be expected that you will be successful in positions that call for solitude or remote locations. " IP: Logged |

Sherlock is famous for his excellent deductive reasoning. Often a client would explain his case starting from family history, Sherlock would interrupt the conversation with an irrelevant question regarding some teeny-tiny detail like "Was there a mark in the left ear?" the client would be irritated. Later Sherlock would explain how it logically follows - the deduction would be so obvious readers wouldn't know why they missed it first place.IP: Logged |

Sorry, I left that open-ended... I should have said it was authored by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle; not Sherlock Holmes. juniperb IP: Logged |

In the original novels, Holmes never actually said, "Elementary, my dear Watson." That became famous through film adaptions.------------------ "The reason why birds can fly and man cannot is simply that they have perfect faith; for to have faith is to have wings." ~JM Barrie IP: Logged |
