Anyone else who read his books? Aside from the lazy, moody pace of his crime thrillers, there are wonderful, humorous observations on human nature. I have been reading one of his novels for the second time. These are from "Dr.Death" (told in first person by a psychopathologist)Between a patient and the psychopathlogist, quote:
"If they said, they would give them seniority, if they went out and murdered someone, I think they would do it"I was amused by the example of her choice.
Between the psychopathologist and a policeman
quote:
"Good night. Sweet dreams." I said."I don't dream. Against department regulations."
