Didn't you find it interesting, that after making such an excellent case for a close, loving, personal and private relationship between Jesus and the Magdalene, the author THEN says "I am not suggesting there was an ILLICIT, amorous relationship..."?

Was he then suggesting that it was LICIT; i.e. marriage?
