Does anyone know anything about David Icke? Some of his web site I found very interesting, some kind of frightening. He has some info about Project Superman, there are 7 parts. I didn't read all of them but Skipped to Part 7. it is about the goverment using people as ginny pigs, what do you knowflakes think aout this? SueIP: Logged |

I have a neighbour who really believes everything Icke says. He has all his books and videos and insisted I read through them. Some of his stuff seems plausible enough, but I have a really hard time believing the the earth is secretly ruled by evil reptillian overlords and that the Queen of England regularly eats babies. Some of his other ideas include things like theme parks such as Disneyland are designed to draw in kids so they can be kidnapped and fed to the overlords, the evil reptiles among us are in disguise so they look like humans, certain races/nationalities are in league with the reptiles, etc. As I mentioned, much of what Icke says is not so bizarre and sounds plausible enough, but when you dig deeper and get to the evil overlords part, the whole thing falls apart for me. It makes me very suspicious of everything else he says.IP: Logged |

http://davidicke.com/ Here's the link because I couldn't get there with the www address. Reptilian overlords? Hmmm ... he's not being metaphorical? Actual reptile-people? I dunno', I'll have to check it out ... ------------------ "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." - Ghandi IP: Logged |

Actual beings of an alien reptile species. It was in one of his books. I forget which one. My neighbour has tons of stuff about Icke and I looked through quite a bit of it, so I can't quote it by chapter and verse. However, I can ask what book it is in for you if that information isn't listed on the website.IP: Logged |

Thanks for the offer, FishKitten, but he appears to have quite a bit of that on the website. I didn't look over all of it but you're right ... actual reptile-alien people. That's just, err, kinda' weird for me. I do intend to look over the rest of his stuff and see what else he thinks, though. He seems really adamant, at least. Plus, I've been wondering about him since Jim Marrs mentions him in "Rule by Secrecy" a bit.IP: Logged |

Someone did a lexi on "the Reptilian race" a while ago. Quite compelling. Not sure how I feel about. Maybe it's allegorical? Then again truth is stranger than fiction. Randall had some interesting things to say about Mr Icke. Oh Wise One? IP: Logged |

I think he has grains of Truth here and there; however, if what he says is entirely true, he would not be around long to say it. I think he is used as a source of disinformation, because he believes anything that is told to him and then reports it as fact. In typical X-Files style, he is fed so much inaccurate information that it makes any Truth he stumbles upon unreliable. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Here are some memorable X-Files quotes: The truth is out there Believe the lie All lies lead to the truth And my personal favorite: "Deep Throat: And a lie, Mr. Mulder, is most convincingly hidden between two truths."
Sorry, I couldn't resist the X-Files tidbits. I used to love that show!

David Icke is a better speaker than he is a writer. He is really a phenomenal speaker, fluent, lucid and rational without notes. You should try to hear him if you get a chance. There has been a lot of fighting talk recently in Lindaland. Icke is an example of how to win without fighting. ------------------ The secret of a long life is knowing when it's time to go. I'd be interested in hearing him state his case. But does he ever comes to America? I can only imagine what he charges. One of my favorite quotes too, Eleanor. I am a unrepentant X-Files junkie. I think the quote works both ways too. The truth is sometimes safest hidden away between two lies. Perhaps relevant in Mr Icke's case? But what's the truth and what's the lie? Ah, there lies the rub. I'm going to go look for that lexi. IP: Logged |

malkhouf, winning is one thing. Sharing is another thing entirely. I don't exactly think this is necessarily a place for people to compete and try to win, but that's just my opinion. Some people have had very interesting actual fights here, though, that have nevertheless been enlightening and refreshing ... like a lightning storm. I guess it all depends on the situation. ****** Exactly, Tink. As for the lexi, I can only say for now. What do you think? I don't know why it's troublesome to me to accept the possibility of Reptilian-type aliens (not aliens in general, I can accept those) ... perhaps it's that reptiles have never sat too well with me period. They're so ... icky. LOL, I understand they're totally functional and have their benefits in the grand scheme of things. But as big lizard people? Maybe it's true or not, but it's a little creepy to me. ------------------ "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." - Ghandi IP: Logged |

I love him, have one of his books. Yes his ideas are far out there but I like to think that if I can see them as possible, then I'm not that closed-minded ! We don't have any facts for or against, do we really ? So how can we possibly know the truth ? Maybe David has got it, maybe not, but I'd love to see the reptile thing and i shall support him as long as his crazy head lives on !IP: Logged |

He was here in Atlanta very recently. An interesting person. As someone else said, his core research is good, and there is a lot of truth, verifiable truth, in much of what he says. But when it comes to a certain point, I scratch my head - not sure about the reptilians. There is something true about them, or the symbol, but the Icke material somehow dis-informs. That is just my feeling, or perhaps what I want to believe. IP: Logged |

Well said, Ra. I can accept it symbolically just fine ... but something seems "off", to me, about the actual reptile people thing. I admit that I don't know much of his other work so I can't comment on that. I would like to believe it (reptile people) ... but only if it's true . ------------------ "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." - Ghandi IP: Logged |

I just thought people might be less aggressive if they thought there was another way to get what they wanted. By the way David Icke has charisma in spades, is very good-looking and charming. Used to be a sports presenter on the Tv and before that a footballer I think. His best recommendation is, he was thrown out of the Green party. ------------------ The secret of a long life is knowing when it's time to go. (folk proverb) IP: Logged |

I concur with Ra. There's truth there about the Reptiles. I think all of us felt a profound chill while reading the stuff. I don't think that could be chalked up alone to a primitive fear of reptiles. Then again, maybe we have an instinctive dislike of reptiles because .... Actually, I really like lizards. I think they're adorable. Chameleons, salamanders, iguanas - they're all good. What does that say about me But there is also something not true. He sees it (or tells it?) through a glass darkly, so to speak. I think there is only one way to solve this mystery. Let's find one! Dead or alive. A worldwide Reptilian Race hunt. Surely there's a bounty on these things. C'mon, who's with me?By the way Fish, I have no problem whatsoever believing the Queen eats babies. Damn German pretenders. IP: Logged |

I love reptiles too. I also don't beleive that goats are any worse than sheep. Trust me, you don't get to be ruler of England unless you are ready to stoop to anything! I don't know if someone with views like Icke would be allowed into America. Almost nobody is allowed into America at the moment.
