I've thought of an idea. It may have been started before. The concept is a Linda Land Library, where Knowflakes can share books within LL.

The first book I'd like to donate to the LLL is quite original;

'Star Signs' Linda Goodman

I'll organise sending it to whomever replies first, and hope that you in turn will redistribute it to another Knowflake when you're done.

I'm not on LL as often as 'd like so if I don't reply for a while - not to worry, I shall return!

So who'd like a book?

Hi Sheaa~ that's a fun idea!! I was also thinking awhile back that we could swap books as well.
I don't need Star Signs because I have it.

I hope you're doing well and you're having a nice summer!! E-mail me sometime!

Hi ladies, yes I've ben thinking on it for a while since many people last year couldn't get a Gooberz. However I felt that since Star Signs is a fundamental book to Linda's work and discussions here, I'm sure some new Knowflakes may be interested

Nephthys! I'm having a lovely summer, would be nice if we didn't have to work so much in this glorious sunshine though eh? I certianly will mail you as soon as I get the pc working online at home. Love to you and Jasmine

26! I love that Richard Bach quote, is that from Jonathan Livingstone Seagull? I remember reading it as a child and thought it was deep and moving then! I'm loving you're posts I'm seeing scattered about. I think I can see you as an author

Love to you ladies,
Sheaa

I want to say yes, but I always worry when borrowing a book. I'm not always great about reading it expediently.

What's books have you got?

Saturn's Child -

AcousticGod, hi To share out at the moment ~
'Star Signs' Linda Goodman and a new addition to the 'list';
'Jonathan Livingston Seagull' Richard Bach

I will have to look through my books to see which ones I can do without again / for a while. I think Star Signs is a pretty important book of Linda's in which she explains predominant theories on our existence, plus it contains the full Chaldean alphabet and definitions of compound key numbers. Definitly recommended. It's a book I'll always have, but I'm buying another copy to distribute.

Jonathan Livingston Seagull is an incredible read. read it once as a child and never forgot it. On the back of the book it says;

quote:
This is a story for people who follow their dreams and make their own rules; a story that has inspired people for decades

I will add to my list of books when I have had a chance to sort through them. When I've read them, I'm considering giving away;

Feel The Fear and Do It Anyway - Susan Jeffers

and

Change Your Life in 7 Days (plus CD) - Paul McKenna

No worries if your unsure at the moment AcousticGod ~ I think I got a definite yes for Star Sign's from Aqua, just let me know if you're interested in any of the other titles

That's lovely of you Sheaa

"Feel the fear and do it anyway" Is an amazing book, I have read most of it once, and even today I still find quotes from the book helpful.

I highly recommend it!

a share-alike library is great idea
this kind of thing is along the lines
of open-source software philosophy
i have been seeing many social movements
along these lines in places like
brittan, australia, and canada

I may soon have some books to distribute
when I get around to reading them

well, i could request for venus trines at midnight and relationship signs
also just realized that I could share
gooberz even though i have yet to crack it open

Hi trilioth yes I've seen so many cool books recommended here that I've researched and have turned out to be fantastic reads! I'm glad the Star Signs offer has been taken up since I think that's quite an important book. I'd also love to read Venus Trines, yet to buy a copy. If I do, I'll let you guys know here when I'm done!

Hey Sunchild yep I agree, I like books that change an angle to my thinking a bit, thanks bebe

Randall *exaggerated wink*

Hi Nephthys ~ no I don't have a copy of that - hey his books look interesting! My kinda world http://www.gregorymaguire.com/home.html I take it it's fictional? Or does he try and draft out the story behind the whole 'wicked witch of the west' thing?

I received the book, Sheaa. Thank you. Did know what to do with all the musical notes, so I put them in a glass of water in the WC for now.
