Despite what you may think of her, whether you love her or hate her, I think she is indeed one of the greatest psychics out there. There is nothing like watching her do her job on Montel Williams, and despite some of her rude remarks and her bluntness, I think her abilities are pretty darn amazing. Even though there are a lot of things to say bad about her, I still admire her abilities. What do you guys think of her? Any opinions? www.sylvia.org -StarLover IP: Logged |

I've always been a big fan of hers, but lately, i've been getting a vibe that maybe shes not caring as much, like she answers things vaguely in answers that can apply to anyone and cutting people off like before they can try and get further details. Another thing that I dont like is on her website www.sylvia.org , it tells of expos of hers that you can pay 40 or 50 dollars to get into, but it notes that you will NOT be able to talk to sylvia, although you can talk to her if you pay 5,000 dollars to go on a cruise. Also I get the vibe that she is afraid to come out with all the info she knows, either because "society" will think shes crazy, or you'll have to buy her books and read them. Its quite discouraging. But no doubt, she is a psychic.IP: Logged |

I think it's a sign she is losing interest in what she is doing. She could also use a long vacation. She has done it for a very long time. An old psychic will start to here the same questions over and over again. She is still a very good psychic, and she predicted this would be the worst year for hurricanes, and she said to stay away from trains prior to the London bombings, so she's still doing her thing. I've also heard from another psychic that she is a bit of a loony tune, but in a good way. -StarLover IP: Logged |

Yes, maybe someone will buy one of her 5,000 dollar cruises and go on vacation with her. I also forgot to mention that I do like the fact that she has lead an open life with normal problems she OPENLY admits to in her books and I do like that. It makes **** ups more acceptable.IP: Logged |

I believe Sylvia Browne is a good psychic. So is her son Chris D.(I have had a reading.) Do I agree with the amount of money that is requested? No. But, it is an energy exchange none the less. I believe in Higher Conciousness principles and psychics are able to tap into probabilities and provide a path. I also know that when you are at certain levels of evolution in conciousness there are paradigm shifts all the time. Hence, overlooking the patience and compassion aspect, and forgetting to remember this is where many others still choose to reside, which ultimately leads to frustration. Which others can sense. I didn't think of an energy exchange as a possibility. I didn't mean to be too harsh on her, I do like her, it's just dicouraging to think that I would have to pay to interact with someone. Also, shes not supposed to be judge judy or something, I look up to her and do understand that some issues need to be adressed very curtly, I'd just expect for a pure and genuine kindness that comes from deep within from someone who carrys such a power to transfer such an energy. Personally, I wouldn't accept any less. But after all, my words are just my opinions and it's right for people to just be in mild circumstances such as hers. IP: Logged |

Having a model for a frame of reference is very good. Keep in mind, she is human just like us and within this frame, we all have our issues to work through. I feel its significant to say that I am at the place within my conciousness to realize that it is not in my highest good to place judgement and/or Expectations. It would be like imposing My will onto someone else's will in our Free Will World. Clinging to Expectations allows our Ego to believe we are somehow superior when there is inferiority going on inside. I am choosing to recognize that there is No thing Sylvia has that I dont or you dont have. God resides within. In love and light, IP: Logged |

I was a fan of sylvia's,I went to a seminar, read her books and was convinced.(BUT)I scheduled a phone appointment with her and she gave me wrong answers. All of what she predicted did NOT happen.Plus I asked her what the name of my birth mother was and she quickly responded with the wrong name. She also told me that she was in Florida, she wasn't.She got other info wrong as well.I would not have found out,but I eventually made contact with a sister who had the correct info. I like Sylvia Browne. In fact, I have read almost all of her books...I just finished "Mysteries of the World" and loved it so much I recomended it to my cousin, who at first didn't believe in aliens, but now she does I also enjoyed "Past Lives, Future Healing" IP: Logged |

Sylvia's "Journey of the Soul" opened my mind and changed my life -- my perceptions have shifted into a much more positive direction. Things she has written really resonate with me. I've been to one of her 'seminars' and I could feel her genuine abilities. There is no possibility of "talking to her" when there are 2,000 seekers present, but she did answer about 100 questions from the audience, and judging from the querents' reactions, she hit some nails on the head. I don't find the $50 ticket to see her any more out-of-line than a $50 concert ticket, and imho much more spiritually beneficial. 'Zala IP: Logged |

I've always gotten a negative feeling when passing her section in book stores. But I think I might pick up Journey of The Soul. What do you think of John Edwards? Any of his books you reccomend reading?IP: Logged |

I have always liked Sylvia Browne with her quick wit and seemingly genuine abilities. I try to watch her on Montel whenever I am off on a Wednesday. I have several of her books. But I think she like anyone else is just a resource and we as souls in human form have to draw from our resources and ulltimately make our own desicions. Philbird I like John Edward, do not have any of his books, though, but used to watch his TV show alot. He has a good energy and I think he is a genuine soul. My late husband was never into the esoteric stuff that I am, but several months before his death he really got into John Edward and watch him on TV religiously. Interestingly enough on the first year anniversary of my husband's death, there was a John Edward marathon on tv, lasting all day and on another channel a Star Trek marathon (he was a big trekkie too!) A message from heaven? IP: Logged |

Well, if there IS any validity to John Edwards, (I don't know what to think of him or Sylvia but he doesn't bother me as much as she does) then it seems he would be the one to help you "contact" your late husband, if you ever had the wish for help in doing so. Sorry to hear that your husband passed at such a young age. IP: Logged |
