I thought they were all basically the same. ------------------ "Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia." Charles Schultz IP: Logged |

I recommend the one by Eknath Easwaran and also Paramahansa YOgananda's version. Except that one is HUGE, but full of info you wont get anywhere else. I've only barely scratched it's surface.Usually a good bookstore will carry many to choose from, so go there and flip through them and see which one feels best to you.. I'd also like to get his two volume work of The Second Coming of Christ. He has a shorter version of this one too.

cool!! thanks for the info. i will check out the suggestions. i have browsed a few copies already but not one of the books struck me as the "one" for me at this point. randall- you're goofy. that is like saying aren't all copies of the bible the same. same basic story, different teller, different interpretation. Is it thick like the Bible...or kind of short like the Tao Te Ching?------------------ "Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia." Charles Schultz IP: Logged |

the version i have is 2 books totalling about 1100 pages. egads!!!other versions are not as long as this one. the length is due to the descriptive aspect of it whereas other versions are the story in and unto itself. it takes time to get through it but it is a lot of common sense IP: Logged |

Are there leather copies with red text for quotes? I have a version I bought from a bald guy with a pony tale. I thought it must be powerful! It hasn't drawn me to read it yet.Dean. IP: Logged |

sesame- my copies are blue, soft cover with a not much else to them. i have had to put mine down for a bit. the info is basically common sense when you go beyond all the names, battles etc but nonetheless it is very dense.26- i have been robbed. there is only one picture in mine, at lesat in the 1st book. you must have an older copy.
