Love your reference to that book! Stranger in a Strange Land, by Robert Heinlein. Read that decades ago. Very much enjoyed finding the word 'grok'-- How perfect!

Oh Wow!! I clicked on the hyperlinked url, and discovered that this book is written on the life of Jesus Christ. The place that Julah lists as being 'from'--

is a title of a poem by Rita Dove.
