I haven't read the books, but I watch the tv show Vampire Diaries (and Secret Circle). I love me some Twilight movies. She was writing a new book, but it was leaked on-line, which made her angry.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." I read until book 3 of the Immortal Series. Liked the first book...after that I thought it was all cheese and drama. Same with the House of Night books, so much drama you wonder how the main characters don't suffer some kind of nervous breakdown.IP: Logged |

Yeh, Midnight Sun, I liked the manuscript a lot. She should have had the full book out by now, even with the delay... IP: Logged |

Never read the TVD books, but I love the show. Actually, the first few episodes for season 1 was boring as heck, but it picked up fast and it's pretty awesome.I heard the show doesn't really follow the books though. Like Elena is suppose to be a blond, Caroline doesn't get turned etc. (also heard the TV series is better than the books?) As for The Twilight Saga books, they were okay.. kinda boring to be honest but the 4th book was pretty amazing. Don't like the movies though. I don't get what the big deal is with the actor that plays Edward Cullen. Please don't stone me. Have you guys ever read The Southern Vampire Mysteries about a girl named Sookie? It's very good. SOO much better than the show True Blood. Definitely a must read. ------------------ "The snake which cannot cast its skin has to die. My opinion, is, and always will be, that Harry Potter is the best book series that has ever existed and will ever exist. I think reading them should be a requirement for everyone. Honestly, I'm not a big Twilight fan, yes, I have read the books, and I will commend Stephanie Meyer for succeeding in writing a book that plants little worms in your head that make your mind crazy about it, but it's only a temporary thing, once I finished the series, I looked back and thought, wow, those weren't very good. Harry Potter, on the other hand, will never stop fasinating me. It has a deep complex plot, with characters that you devote your whole heart to, and villians who you feel the deepest sympathy for. I love Harry Potter, call me a nerd, I don't care, but the characters, the plot, and the entire world the book creates has given me the greatest escape from life I could have imagined, while still teaching me life lessons.IP: Logged |

I read and watched the Twilight saga a long time ago. I loved the books and found the movies not so good. I thought the books needed a better adaptation. Then, I started finding Twilight boring, I moved on and read Before I die by Jenny Downham, the Immortal series (I loved these -- that was what got me into spiritual stuff), and the Matched trilogy by Ally Condie. I was a little fed up with romance stories, to be honest, so I kinda read that last one purely because I was fascinated by the science fiction parts. That's all I have concerning young adult books.
