What's everyone's favorite type of music? Favorite songs?

I like most everything, besides some of the heavier metal music and really crunky rap. Love Coldplay and Maroon5 and Hans Zimmer. I also may or may not be obsessed with Lana Del Rey

Same with me really; i like mostly any kind of music, as long as it has a nice melodic feel too it.

That's why i mainly listen to Trance/House music!

You like Coldplay, Maroon5 and Hans Zimmer??

Aha! I heard it today too. And yes, it is very catchy. Always sang it whenever it reminded me of a guy whom I used to like I think Boys Like Girls had a comeback last month on my birthday.

omg I LOVE this song! It's just so boss lol

hmm, I honestly don't even know how to classify my music tastes. I like a lot of stuff from India Arie, to Red Hot Chili Peppers, to Florence and the Machine, to Vampire Weekend, etc. (no longer much of a fan of hip hop/r&b songs since a lot of them are vulgar and stupid imo)

Lately though some of my fav songs are (i.e. the ones I over play till I'm tired lol):

Young the giant - islands

Hey rosetta (love the lead singers voice <3) - bandages

Two door cinema club - sleep alone

The staves (love love love them) - mexico

John mayer - Daughters

I love Coldplay too <3, I don't know if you've ever heard of the piano guys but they have a version of paradise by Coldplay that is really really good. I'll link it:

Oh my gosh my ears died and went to heaven, thanks for that link Chiemi!

Yeah did you know Macklemore isn't signed with anyone? Hopefully it stays that way, I don't want to start seeing a one-eyed butterfly-covered Macklemore everywhere o__O

We have much the same tastes in music. Hip hop and r&b are vulgar depending on what you listen to. I'm not much into it either, but I love The Weeknd if you want to check him out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfrWuiQ4QNc

He has a lot of slow, kinda creepy-like music. Of course there is a small amount of vulgarity, so heads up.

Also Sia was really good back in her Australian Indie-pop days. Her two albums Colour the Small One and Some People Have Real Problems were my jam for a long time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_0ulNpvrRU

(this video always makes me laugh)

...yeah I'm into some weird stuff

Haha I like Sia too! Never Gonna Leave Me was a favorite of mine before and Clouds and My Love lol.

Ok I listened to the weeknd and it isn't bad, I actually clicked over to wicked games after the first song you linked and I listened to it a good 3 times lol - the clean version. Made me think of pluto/pluto themed relationships or something with manipulation, power, and games and all that jazz. I really like that one

Never would've guessed that Macklemore isn't signed lol tbh I thought he was from the UK smh, no idea where I got that idea from

My Love is one of my favorite songs of all time! I stopped watching Eclipse just to find that song.

Wicked Games is one of his most popular songs. Yeah I get that feel from his music too, dark and deep. I also really like his songs Next and Glass Table Girls.

I could see that, Macklemore looks very British to me too.
