ok, i've NEVER dreamt about anything like this before...and the dream was much more extensive, yet this is the only thing i remember so far...but i was watching television, and someone was sitting beside me and they were telling me about my third eye, trying to describe to me what it is and how it works...then, i looked at the tv screen, and then became a part of what i was watching on tv!i was sitting on a park bench, in a beautiful park setting, with pebblestone walkways...off in the distance, i saw Proxieme...i knew it was her, and the person beside me said, "look at Proxieme, use your third eye and look at her"...all of a sudden, there was an outline of a diamond shape around her body...from this shape sheer light was flowing on each side of it...to the east and west of her...the shape became like a tunnel and she got further and further away... but i still didn't "see" with it, nor did i understand it... and frankly, i'm completely baffled at this dream....i really don't even know what a 3rd eye is... someone help! edit note...I also dreamt about meeting Prince, but I think this is because I was joking with my husband before bed and said I was going to change my name to a symbol, like Prince did...but, man, he sure was hot in my dream...and sooooo very sweet...i liked him alot in my dream...

Bernadette u must have sponged up info abou the third eye, it's your third vision, the psychic vision, the one that u see auras with (or should i say the three that u see auras with ) and it sounds like the person beside u was your inner voice telling u that u could see Proxieme's aura if u tried to. Maybe u should read up on the third eye and start practising looking at auras in waking life. Love Cat from BelfastIP: Logged |

interesting thought Quinnie...for I see aura's more in photographs than in real life...well, I am more practiced with photos than in life, because I can focus on the still life form much easier than someone sitting in front of me, moving and talking and constantly changing position..it becomes hard for me to get a good focus sometimes...sometimes though their auras yell at me...they yell.."SEE ME AMANDA"...and they open right up... thank you for your insight! ------------------ When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love has always won. Hello Bernadette Quinnie is surely right. This dream is nothing short of a partial memory of an actual lesson received while asleep. They were indeed relaying to you information about the functioning of the "third eye" through an experiential example. And quite an example they provided! Watching television is an absolutely perfect way to to begin this "lesson," because it is something you will be able to relate to from now on in waking life as a beginning point for practicing third sight. The television itself relays the idea of a shift in perspective - one of objectivity - because you are not fully involved in it. It gives a clear example of how one must dissociate from a situation so that a degree of passivity may be obtained, and in this way you will "get the picture" more clearly, without the interference of emotional and sensory attatchments. Developing a "third person perspective" will encourage the development of "third sight." See what I mean? Oddly enough, this is the very same method I use, many times for dreams I have trouble with, and almost always when trying to glean information about situations I need more understanding in. I picture the scene, person, or whatever as if I am watching a movie - then move into it. If for a dream, I try to take the place of the dreamer. Doing so often results in more vivid imagery - and hopefully a greater understanding. Now, this diamond shape is probably both literal and symbolic. Not only could it be an abstraction of the aura, but it also symbolizes enLIGHTenment, IN-SIGHT, focus, and it is a symbol of the Self. It is also suggestive of a "treasure" emanating from the unconscious. All of these meanings are so very appropriate! Whomever was instructing you is quite adept at impressing your subconscious with powerful symbols, while at the same time offering you a practical means by which to incorporate them! Fantastic!
