I'd like to know too. It's a kind of "shocking" feeling. Gia
I lived in Rio for four and a half years. I have many friends in Rio and also the rest of Brazil. I lived opposite the Lagoa actually on Avenida Epitacio Pessoa. Oh such fond memories I have of my stay. IP: Logged |

Hi to all,First I want to explain something: as you can see in my profile I am a designer. When I have free time I spend in the net seeking sites that have images done by computer. Images that seem real but are virtual. These images don't help in my work, since it depends on creativity, so it's just a passion. I love to collect these images. As I love design I love the beauty of these images. However yesterday I was not doing that... Yesterday I was looking for images of St Michael and Google (?!) took me to this site. I didn't find the image I was looking for but as the site was interesting I decided to explore it. I opened a link and this image appeared. I didn't have doubt, my first thought was: this image " belongs" to Ra. Why did I have this thought? I don't know. What did I feel when I saw the image? It's force is impressive...it's shocking...it's so sad...it's wonderful... Which is my interpretation of this image? He is leaving...he is leaving the woman. I don't know if definitively or for being with a sword in his hand maybe he is going to some battle. She doesn't support the separation and drank a poison cup...she will die... Ra, don't ask me "why today", I don't have this answer. You know me for some years through my dreams and some facts of my life that I mentioned here. You know that my life is made of these "co-incidences". Fayte, this image also provoked me this sensation of "a time ", a time that I lived. Something that I saw, as if I was in this woman's place, as if I was re-living this picture as a part of it. Gia, four years in Rio! You should speak a little bit of Portuguese...as Ra. My son moved last year to live with his father on Avenida Epitácio Pessoa. Coincidence. Love, Jackie

One more thing...Guys, we cannot forget that Horus doesn't reign in our time, but in the future and besides the future. He tells the secrets of his time for the prophets of our time. What seems for us a misfortune in the present, Horus sees as a need. He can command the interconnected events because he observes us from our own future. Having the knowledge of the result of each action, he reduces the apparent chaos of our world in a simple, however infinitely, long link of causes and effects. Through his eyes we can see the reflex of our own destiny.

Jaqueline, you are truly magnífico. Oddly enough, my first reaction was to the scarab at the top/center. Just before midnight on the 26th I gave someone a very similar scarab that I bought two days before ... it was one of two I couldn't decide between ... the other was nearly identical to the one in the image, with the 'wings' and such only in gold, not green, so that really caught my attention ... anyway, when I saw that scarab, and I knew this was from Jaqueline, I knew the rest of the picture was going to be interesting. Indeed it is. It is a confirmation, I suppose, of something I already really know, and which has been specifically discussed between myself and the other person, although not in detail. It could also be giving me information or possibilities. The synchronicities, the image and the timing of it and several other 'coincidental' occurences that night, leave little doubt that there is something to it. Very peculiar. And there may be even another level to it ... but I'm not ready to get too complicated. It will make my brain hurt. Thank you Jaqueline. IP: Logged |

Also, Jaqueline, I found your interpretation of the image very interesting ... that had not occurred to me as it is very different from the way I first saw it. It looked to me that she had just discovered her lover lying dead or mortally wounded on the ground ... dropping her cup in the shock of it ... and the killer is walking away. ~~I like your version better! Yeah.. the cat is looking towards where the woman is looking.... the cat feaking out, the woman shocked, the man walking away, dishevelled carpetting, ravens following the killer, with a weapon in his hand, to an unknown destination.... The 'guardian' statues in either corner implying importance to the person in the room....IP: Logged |

Yes I'm pretty fluent in Portuguese.Porque eu fiquei la por muito tempo, mais esta difficil agora porque eu nao tenho brasileros aqui. I still speak well but I'm afraid my written Portuguese suffers badly. I've not written for years though I speak to friends on the phone. Epitacio Pessoa!?! How long has he been there? What number? Do I know you? We were apartment 1002 at 2870 Epitacio Pessoa Lagoa.
I don't believe in coincidence. Nothing is by accident and I feel you are strangely familiar - although it could be the place connection which is why I posted it. Por enquanto amiga, ate logo. Gia Desculpe me for any spelling mistakes. *laughing* I had a brain block and forgot the palavra for 'spelling' in Portuguese. Eu tenho mal lembranca! Gia IP: Logged |

I am fluent because I stayed there a long time, but it's difficult now because there are no brazilians here.Meaning to converse with so I don't forget. My sister speaks fluent Spanish. When I was in Argentina I spoke Portuguese and we all got by. I speak Greek too which is much harder to remember. Sometimes I mix them all up when I'm talking too fast or get too animated. I know I'm only seeing this now, buuuuttt... I have an Egyption tiled table with figures on it, hubby made. On the table is, A statue of Horus, A chain of linked crystals like the one in the photo, actually, behind the table hanging from the curtian rod. A green scarab, A brass goblet, An egyption cat, A letter opener that looks like a sword, A tall slender pyramid made of different stones. I gave hubby a box that had the eye of Horus on it. He is a Mason. Not on the table, but an Egyption style vase. They are on the table just because I found them attractive. All the items were collected throughout my life. There are also a few Asian objects as well! I am a designer as well! (not working in the field though) Weird!IP: Logged |

Thanks for the stimulation! Really! I really don't know much about Egypt, just was attracted to the objects. I hate cockroaches, beetles etc., but I just HAD to have the scarab when I saw it. I always liked the idea of living in Egypt, but never sought after imformation on it. Only through this site have I realized what I was collecting. Funny thing is, hubby studied in Archeology for a time. IP: Logged |

I am so obsessed with Egypt. Since I was young I have always had such a fascination with anything that has to do with Egypt. I promised myself that before I die. I will get to see and walk the desert and see the pyramids. IP: Logged |
