Now this has happened already the 3rd or 4th time in the last few months.
People were dead in my dreams, and then they were alive again.

This time however, it was a tad different.

I was in my appartment (though it did not look like the one I am living in, though the garden outside was my garden), and there was a dead man lying just outside my kitchen, with a nice little bullethole in his forehead.
For some reason this did not realy bother me all day long. After all he was just lying there, dead as can be.

I had no clue who he was, or who killed him, or when it had happened (I did not know him, so Idon`t think I had kiled him), however when it started to get closer to evening/ night, I thought I should call the police so they could take care of that body in my kitchen.
Not because I really felt it was a pressing matter, but I did not want him to be lying there while i went sleeping.
And I figured it would be difficult to explain to the police after a few days, why I had not called them instantly. I am not sure they would have believed me saying I just had been lazy and indifferent.

It was around 8 p.m. already, so I thought I should hurry up and get this cleared; I walked into another room to pick up my mobile, however when I came back, the man had disappeared.

DEAD MEN DO NOT DISAPPEAR!
And he was having a bullet hole in his forehead (and I figured if someone shot him, he must have been a not too nice fellow alive).
I went out into the garden, which was not the smartest move, as my garden is totaly fenced in and closed. lol

I was trying to dial the police, much more urgently and nervous now. Dead bodies did not really bother me in that dream, bodies who should be dead and then disappeared, DID.
As a matter of fact he, very much alive, turned up in my garden a few metres from me.
I experienced him as a threat, or an intruder at least, and he probably would have agreed.
Besides He was having a gun, so that was not so nice.

Well, I shouted at him that I was calling the police,b ut in my panic I must have dialed something wrong, as the call did not get out, and then the line went dead; and I knew that i was getting exactly this one chance to call for help or get out of there (damn it, I should have gotten rid of him, the moment I discovered that body lying on my floor).

So I did not get out of there, and he made it a point that he was intending to stay, no matter if I wanted him to, or not.
I naturally felt threatened by this, though judging from his behaviour he was actually not that bad, just a little determined in staying. lol

*scratches head*
But really, what is it about those people who do not want to stay dead in my dreams lately?

Not seeing this one straight away so I'll just type.
You are in your apartment, so this is about you, your personal process.
The dead man is in the kitchen: thoughts/belief systems you have been fed/feeding yourself.

I'm intrigued by your garden. It represents your life, the seeds you planted there for yourself, but it's fenced.
Who fenced it? You? And why? Is it to keep people out? Not to let anyone into your life?

The police: always good for some inner restricting. Best clean that body up. Out of eye, out of sight.
The man is not going anywhere though. He is going to stay.
Why was he shot? Who killed him & why?
Is he your animus or your inner lover? Was he actually supposed to die of do you need him in your life? To act out into the world to break down the fences around your garden (just life/ or sexuality?)
Play a bit with the word 'garden'. See what this means to you?
Why didn't it bother you that he was dead? Was it easy? When it's dead, no action needs to be undertaken.

But then at night time, something dawning, not quite right. What haven't you looked at?
What was deadened and coming alive? Why did you leave this deadened bits for so long?
The garden is the state of you? What else was in the garden? How did it look?

Edit: then the panic. He wasn't going away!!
What is your one chance? What is now or never? Open the garden, get out there, show yourself & be seen?
So in conclusion I think this is about reconnection with your animus. Acting out, being bold, showing who you are. He is here to help & not leaving.
Scary? Yes. But with a male helper by your side, thing won't be so bad

Just some thoughts

Hello Ceridwen

My thoughts are similar to Twirl's.

In general, these dreams suggest that there is something in your life, an aspect of self or an issue/situation, that you thought was gone/dead/ended, or wanted it to be, that keeps coming back up.

In this last dream the dead man likely represents your animus, your masculine principle. The dream suggests that this part of you has been "dead", inactive, neglected, or unattended to. His resurrection and intrusion indicates a need for you to pay more attention to "him", as "he" (your masculine aspects) will help you to act upon your thoughts, feelings, intuitions (feminine attributes). This is why he appeared in the garden, because "he" needs to be tended to, and why "he" intended to stay, because "he" knows you need "him".

Your feminine side needs some help from your masculine side.

Oh I just saw that now.

Thank you both!

It is very much in line with my own interpretation, just that I don`t think I need to incorporate the masculine qualities into myself; I probably simply need a man in my life.
Bluntly speaking it has a lot to do with sexuality and intimacy, which have been repressed very long time in my life.
But with me opening up on many levels, of course this would come up again, too.
There is still a certain fear attached to it, or let`s rather say insecurity, and that is probably why the man in my dream felt like an invader, as I wasn`t yet ready to accept him voluntarily as a much neede part into my life.

That would be my interpretation actually.

You would know better than I.

Thank you for sharing your dream.
