Last night I had a dream which was so weird I just HAD to figure out an interpretation. The dream involved a man I love very much but am trying to let go of and move on. I rarely dream about him...or if I do, I don't remember it. The background of the dream occurs when I find out the daughter of an old neighbor of mine is pregnant. I am seated dressed up in a "congregation" of people celebrating this pregnancy...almost like I was attending a wedding but it was celebrating the pregnancy. The girl was young, probably middle school aged. My mom was there and I asked her what the girl was going to name the baby as somehow we knew it was going to be a girl. She gave a first name and middle name, but the odd thing was that the middle name was the name of this man. I kept asking her to repeat the middle name as I kept thinking I didn't hear her correctly and she kept saying his name. Finally I said, "his name?" As in the "his name" that I know? She said yes. I was completely surprised this girl was going to name her baby after this man, but she was neighbors with him as well so she did know him. Anyway, we are all seated and he's there, at the celebration, and apparently was asked to give a speech (kind of like a best man speech.). He walked over to me and started talking about the past and then the present. At the end of the speech he pulled out a gold glittery cardboard # 3 and handed it to me of all people in the place. I woke up and couldn't figure out why he handed me a 3??!! I don't know tarot really well but something told me to look up what the 3rd card in the tarot deck was.. I was shocked when I saw it was the Empress! The reason why is that I have had 2 other readings that described me as the Empress, but the latest spread in which I asked "what he is thinking"...the first card that turned up was, again, the Empress! Mind you, I had NO idea that the Empress was the 3rd tarot card! Can anybody piece this together for me? Thx IP: Logged |

It is usual to have an real life confirmation if you follow your intution. May I aks you for your own personal definition of this specific card? It is the key.IP: Logged |

Hmmm, well that's interesting. I don't do tarot myself so I don't have much experience with the card. All I can say is my belief of what the Empress is actually has been an interpretation by other people. So I see the card representing a woman (probably me) who is feminine, attractive maternal and caring. I definitely see this when I look at the image of that card. I have also read that when the Empress shows up in regards to a man and a woman, it would indicate the woman is his ideal partner, woman of his dreams etc. but i dont know if that's true as i dont have personal experience with that interpretation. So maybe I am hoping he feels this way about me subconsciously? Of course this I'm sure doesn't express what his real feelings are...kind of frustrating, given I'm trying to move on from him..:/....sigh, I don't know. IP: Logged |

Thank you for the information. Please read it as an opinion: In this dream you do consider more than one aspect of the relationship that you overcome now. I interpret the situation of the celebrating as your own marriage and the children with him. As you consider yourself too young (-> I do not know your age ) the girl was young as well. That a baby can have more than one first name is usual. It is still unusual nowadays that the last name has the name of the father and the mother. It can be a legal statement of equality. That is the topic you process here. He did give you the golden card to tell you that you are an emotionally rich person that he wants to marry (=glitter). As he talked about the past and the present, this is the future that he wants to give you. Somehow you did already answer your own dream by asking: So maybe I am hoping he feels this way about me subconsciously?

Three -and two more - are my favorite number as well. I wish you all the best for your further investigation on your dream. IP: Logged |

Was it night time or day time in your dream? And so to recap: the main characters are you, this pregnant middle schooler, your mom, and the guy? It's funny how the dream has generational themes in it. Your/whoever's mom, you, the middle schooler becoming a mother. When you met this guy, were you not ready to have kids and settle down? And the gold glittery 3 reminded me of "all that glitters isn't gold" for some reason. I know that's not very insightful / intuitive but let me work on this. IP: Logged |

Thx! Yes...characters are me, my mom, school-aged pregnant girl (my old neighbor) and him. Can't remember if it was day or night specifically. I met him (in real life) when my son was 2..I was married at the time and 32.IP: Logged |

Thinking out loud ... I could be way offOld neighbour + Old (ex) Man + Your Mother = 3 (Empress) The baby could be you sheltered in fluid unable to express yourself emotionally, the celebration was for your birth into a new life. Your neighbour was pregnant because she's neutral or because HE new her so it made the dream work. Your ex was there because you wanted him to do/say those things, be there maybe in way he wasn't (a speech devoting his love). Your mother for security/grounding/protection. ------------------ All The Best IP: Logged |

Hey Carm, don't know what happened to your last post but thanks for the reply. I am comforted to know that you think the celebration of the birth is a good omen meaning that everything will be ok as I struggle with trying to let him go and then Having the dreams...anyway your interpretations were interesting so thank you!IP: Logged |

I'm glad Sometimes the self-doubting thoughts in my head win and I erase my posts. The moon is my Asc so the Full/Super moon may have had something to do with it. ------------------ All The Best IP: Logged |

Maybe the 3 is a timeframe, as in 3 months, 3 years?Or it relatets to the triangle? IP: Logged |

Ceri...you might just be on to something with the 3 being a timeframe. I had a reading done at the beginning of January when I was soooooo low after not seeing Cusp on New Years. She told me she kept seeing the number 3. She said things start to look up and I would turn over a new leaf in March. Ironically I was told by a psychic last July that Cusp's marriage would end in March of 2015. IP: Logged |
