The butterflies found shelter for their delicate selves, surviving the catastrophic windstorms.IP: Logged |

I was walking up to my front door to go inside, and as I opened it, a yellow with black stripe butterfly almost went into my place! yikesHmmmm. Maybe You need a large planter with Butterfly bush growing in it, Randall. The plant is ultra sensitive, so it needs attention on a daily basis. Lots of watering. Occasional misting. I love being a Plant Mother! Resurrected the plant after a neighbor's neglect had it looking all brown and crumbly. No green. It been freshly thrown in the dumpster as 'trash'. I took it home, and nursed it back to health. Now, it provides an elegant sight for my front door. Is next to another planter with another 'rescue'-- a Boston Fern with 4-foot fronds. And oh yeah, resting under the fronds in a small pot of its own is the shamrock I bought 2 years ago for St. Patty's Day. It is also surprisingly thriving. Has delicate sprays of white trumpet blossoms. Just needed some Love! AND Water, and more water, on a daily basis. Add some lovely conversation spoken over them. Plants have Consciousness IP: Logged |

I always seem to be in the right place at the right time to see a yellow butterfly go right in front of my car! I went to a restaurant to eat on Sunday, and one was landing on flowers in front of the sidewalk. I tried to touch it, but it flew away. IP: Logged |
