There's a VERY slow moving asteroid called Orcus (ref markandrewholmes).
Always REMEMBER--- There is a Higher Expression you can energize in your chart, or, become aware of whether you operate and express the lower energy. You can ALWAYS shift UP.... by being aware, and working it.

Find out what house (issues),
and if it is near important planets, luminaries, fixed star, or axis-points (AC/DC,MC/IC); and where t-Orcus is moving and doing in your chart right now...
Just do this "loosely" okay? ... Not TOO literally .... I know SOME of the interpretations there can look pretty spooky. LOL.
It's in the LONG RUN of life that you'll really be able to look back and see how it operated.

Take the GOOD parts.... and apply it in a Positive-Story way for yourself.

Like your mom said... there are people in nursing homes, institutions, who might benefit from your interest in them? These ARE cages... even of their minds.... and can be quite cruel. You can present a fresh wind and window to these souls. Yes, so many feel that aloneness. Your presence could make a difference.
Even in veteran associations... maybe do volunteer work (or!, apply for work-job over the summer) around some maritime soldiers? (armed forces assoc with 'water'?)
I know that when I was in college, there was a department for engineering that had to do with underwater living-- seas, etc.
Maybe if you are near a higher-education school that HAS a geography-underwater program, you could ask to investigate their program? Go down to one of their marine sites and talk to some of the workers or upper-level students there?
I think NASA is doing underwater-living experiments ... You could investigate some of those thoughts?
I don't know how important 'water' is in your chart.... but Certainly, you're a Beautiful Soul.

One of the reasons I mention it is because of the location of Orcus in my OWN chart, and all the descriptive asteroids surrounding it.
Of course, Orcus is a Generational asteroid, moving (even slower?) than the speed of Pluto?
Right now, transiting Orcus is at 8-9 Virgo... near a Fixed Star called Zosma, related to 'hard work and suffering'; 'victimized or pressured' in some manner; working with people and in situations where victims are present and need assistance.'
I REALLY hope our Society can form those grassroots movements that will 'be present' to those all those living things needing assistance, around the earth. We are the Gardeners....
Even though things look shadowy Dark... I also witness the 'BRIGHT of Humanity' coming forth too, en masse this time. Not just leaving the weight on small shoulders of individuals... thank God!
