Hey Aylet,

You know, I've never felt gifted or anything. This has always felt normal to me since things of this nature have been occurring my entire life.

I have a good friend who wholeheartedly believes that somehow, I'm supposed to make use of all of it. But I wouldn't even know how, since from my view it all occurs on its own. Every time I've tried to do it voluntarily it does not work. If I could do it voluntarily, I surely would. I think it would bring me a sense of peace.

Hi Dreamraven,
I can't recommend on books, as the ones I read were not in English and belong in the past. I don't currently have any books on astral projection. But I suggest you search for books which are guiding how to astral project, there are sure to be plenty available.

It was actually surprising; I didn't imagine that I'd be able to do it on my own. The book made me realize that these fears I have of these sounds that would appear is the moment where I could leave the body.

I don't want to make it too long but for many years I'd lock my door at night because I would think something was coming through the door. It sounded like a washing machine spinning with coins inside, I thought it was terrifying. Then sometimes at night I would hear what I thought to be loud knocking or even sometimes what sounded like a gunshot.

When I read the book the author mentioned about these sounds....he described them as a jet engine sounds and he even mentioned the gunshot noise. Thats when I knew that it was nothing that I should be afraid of but that was the moment I was disconnecting from the body.

When I began to hear the noises again, this time I wasn't afraid and was able to leave the body. What I found interesting is that initially I figured there would be some sort of preparation needed. But the two times I did it, there was none. I just heard the sounds and left the body.

It is. I never would have associated the sounds with astral projecting before the book. It was around 2017 or so when the sounds start to get bad. It's still embarrassing to say but it got so bad that I was genuinely terrified. I thought there was a spirit or something coming towards my room at night.

One thing I forgot to mention is that before I'd started shutting my door, I'd see it slowly open at night. Then after a few moments it was magically shut again.

Another thing the author made me realize is that once you get outside the body, the first place you are usually at is a place that looks remarkably like here. But there are usually things off about it, like objects that do not belong. When I began to look back at the sounds I'd hear and the door opening, I understood that I was disconnecting from the body or had already disconnected. There was never a door opening here, but a door opening in the place outside of the body.

Your suggestion to read a book was the catalyst to learn. I wouldn't have thought of reading one before that. Thank you.
