These were presented as possible interpretations.

Tornados can represent Changes that are coming, that can shift your world view or outlook (for the "positive".. usually).

Get ready for sudden changes, and a need to take action on something in your life.

Can mean instability and upset in your lovelife, HOWEVER, this may NOT turn out to be catastrophic to you.

Can represent *strong emotions* and something that's going on in your mind (air) that has you 'stirred up' in some way, and you haven't really looked at it yet.
.. When you are able to decipher what that is, the intensity will lower, and you would be able to 'handle' this with less fear and difficulty than you would think. Through your dream, you are working on it in other realms, and be prepared in advance, having instinctual resolution inside.

Maybe.. maybe there was a decision you made recently that has you doubting whether you made the correct decision? "Process" all the elements of it, and you'll be able to 'step-down' the intensity of whatever is putting your psyche in turmoil.

Sometimes it's the presence of aggressive and dominating people in your life.
.. You know that 'something is in the air' about it. Your intuition picks up on it?
.. People around you who are volatile?

Whatever it is, hidden in your mind/feelings, is taking a toll on your mental-balance and Peace of mind.

Can indicate destruction or violence--

Need to express powerful emotions, that are linked to the thought-realms (air, hand). Trying to get a handle on it.

In our present-day world, we are living in powerful and dangerous times.

Some of the changes are thrusted upon us suddenly (war, earth-changes, deaths), that seem like they 'blow the roof' right off our lives, rattling our feelings and sense of protection and safety.

The result of sudden changes sometimes (according to the interpretation samples I've found) will actually be something that brings a sense of instability, and, you wind up on a New Path in life. (And each of those were saying that it was NOT going to be catastrophic in a way that harms, but it will wind up being Better.)

ROOF.. Something is about to 'open' your world up. More expansion.

If you have a spiritual practice, then meditate, pray, whatever you do will have a greater effect?

Your hand reaching up INTO the Tornado.. reminds me of the picture of God reaching down to Man {Michaelangelo}.

God sent Pillars of Fire (vortex, a holding-tornado), to lead his tribe in the desert.
(In case you have knowledge of bible stories.).

I pray Protection-covering over you.
That you'll be calm and Centered, and find yourself able to easily Resolve or well-recover from anything disturbing.
May Changes be 'easily handled'..

When younger, I used to have "tornado dreams"
which (for me) portended 'deaths' of important people in my life.

One had a 'symbol' of a person I used to take care of while she was in her 90s. A red cardinal.

I decided to write to her, and found out that 'the day' I had the tornado dream, she had passed.

Her relatives said 'how fond' she had been of me. I was the only-one she would accept as a Companion while her children were professionals and traveling.

They used to adjust their schedules around my own, so I could take care of their mother. .. Was in college during those days.

I REALLY enjoyed listening to her stories.
She was a wealthy woman, who held garden-parties, and with her friends, had done efforts to support soldiers in WWII {like bandage-wrapping parties, to be sent to the fields for the medics}.

The WHOLE DAY last Feb 19, what I kept 'seeing' burnt-into my vision-imagination all day, was a steady picture of what was outside her backyard picture-window.

It was a spacious backyard. I think flowers were planted there for the purpose of attracting birds, butterflies, etc.

There was a Beautiful stone old birdbath there. We would have to go replenish its water with a garden hose on the hottest days. It was always a delight to watch when the birds would come and splash the water.

But beyond all that, just-behind the birdbath was a good-sized patch of flowers growing.

At first, with my imagination, all I could remember was the lacey delicate nature of the greens. The leaves were almost fern-like. The flower (to me) was dainty.

When I woke up this morning, the vision was clarified--- and I recalled the name of the flower. The FLOWER was called "Cosmos" !!!!!

omg!!! *tears* … It was a Message from her and The Cosmos???

I miss gardens..
With the first house I ever owned, I turned the fallow ground into a Beautiful green lawn, elegant curved beds with Hosta, a couple low shrubs called a 'Cardinal' bush (OMG!!! ~creepy???~) in front of my front picture window, a Birch tree, had two oaks, and most of all in the springtime, I had planted tulips and daffodils. Had 750 Breck's high quality bulbs.

People used to drive by my house (on corner lot) and stop to admire Mother Nature's awesome Display of Life in the Spring.

I had one bed of peppermint striped tulips under the oak tree.. that the squirrels would lay on their backs, to play and batter those blossoms on the ends of their green stems..
.. I had a set of French doors (my father and I had remodeled this fixer-upper first home, and broke open a wall to install these elegant doors that opened onto my side-yard, corner lot).

I'd suddenly see these blossoms shivering in the corner of my eye from inside the house. Went to the doors. It was the squirrels!!! These batch of flowers did not do as well!

So anyways...

What a crowning touch to her Memory.
