Coming back to this thread - I still think about that sleep paralysis dream I had a couple years back, and it still freaks me out a bit!

When I was a teenager, I had a dream that my sister suddenly made friends, and was a part of a "mean girl" group. They were all really pretty, and she always knew that she was really pretty. That was the one area in which she had confidence, and knew it would help her in other ways.

In the dreams, I was sleeping on the floor in a living room (which I don't recall doing as a kid), and they were laughing at me. There were two other dreams, along the same lines. Just her, mocking me.

This sort of happened much later, around 2011/2012, when she got engaged to the boyfriend who kept causing trouble between us. It wasn't high school, but it was our real life. She had people ganging up on me, and it changed my life forever, for the worse. She became like the girls I dropped out of school to avoid.

I’m not sure if this counts as a situation where a recent dream turned reality: I found out in real life through social media and also a mutual friend that an on and off ex fwb/ situationship was expecting a baby. Although our “thing” ended a long time ago I find myself just now grieving/processing a lot of it and trying to truly move on. About a few weeks ago I had a dream and in the midst of my random dream (about middle school science class) he appeared on a bench with me, held my hand and told me that he was (still?) in love with me. I felt the loving feelings through my dream but that quickly changed when he said “but nothing will ever happen because of my daughter.” I could sense the VERY firm boundary that was put up, and he left and the dream ended. I thought it was weird he mentioned a daughter instead of “baby” because I didn’t know the sex at that time, but about 2 weeks after that dream I found out it is a girl he’s having. It seemed like confirmation that the dream was actually a visit of some sort or maybe I just new on some level. We have Neptune/ 12th house contacts in synastry.

Never become Reality so far.

I had a nightmare: my father gave me a very heavy ancient book. I opened it and it was about me: every page was describing in tumultuous detail how bad I am. It scared me and I woke up at 3:30am.

My father did not contact me the entire year, but in that morning he sent me a link to a Christian teaching about “honoring your parents no matter what they do”. And how bad you are as a child if you do not honor them.

Ilunatique, try to dissipate the influence of this dream. Obviously you're not bad, and while it is important to respect your parents, many a time a parent should earn that right. Your father is putting the blame on you and does not take responsibility for his acts, and you're very sensitive and picking up on his accusation. Let that go.

Thank you Ayelet, your words really touched me. I do not hear words like this often. I am aware. I posted as another example of a dream turned reality in only 6 hours. I woke up at 3:30am from the dream and received the message at around 10am. The dream helped me somehow because I “was already prepared” for this to happen, so I was surprised but not surprised at the same time.

As you said, the dream prepared you for what was to come. You must have picked on your father's intention in advance, and, being very sensitive, were greatly affected. I'm glad you're taking this at face value, as it was a projection of your father's conscience. Thank you as well for sharing here, it is an example of the way a psychic bond can manifest through a dream that turns to be predictive. Your father might want to set things aright, unfortunately he knows not how, and picks the wrong attitude time and again. Your self awareness is indeed a blessing.

I am a lucid dreamer and i have had a dozen prophetic dreams.
Sadly the good ones about my own self doesn't happen in reality but whenever i have dreams of others, i hear something or a news.

That is outstanding, Tatiana. I wonder why the good dreams of yourself did not materialize. Maybe it will take time, or maybe it's harder for you to see your own future the way you can see others' futures. Perhaps your dreams of yourself are more symbolic in nature. But it's always nice and fortunate to have a good dream, even when it doesn't materialize exactly as it appears.

My dreams are weird. Sometimes i wish not to dream at all lol

well, the dreams about me having kids, falling in love, having that dream house etc never happened )) but if the dream is negative in nature, i generally see some shifts in my life.

if it's about other people, it does happen maybe 70% of the time. Like i saw a second cousin separating from her husband and she did in maybe 4 months.
