One comment I want to make about Scott Ritter. He retracted his initial statements concerning what Iraq had in regards to biological weapons.

There is speculation that he did this because information leaked out and was being used against him for his recent arrest on charges of child molestion in which he procured a young girl via the internet to commit some extremely vile acts. He was placed on probation and was once again arrested for intent to molest another minor.

I wouldn't take his word as anything other than trash.

Here is a question that still has not been answered:

What do you (anyone) think that Saddam will do when he is able to get a nuke? Now, he is not as savvy as other countries and would have no problem taking down as many people as possible with him. So does anyone here think that he would not use the nuke against us or our allies?

If he has bioweapons, does anyone think he would really only use them in defense if attacked.

Does anyone think we should have abstained from attacking Japan or going after Hitler in the previous wars?

Sure the German people hated what was happening, but it was their problem right? Isn't that what we are saying in regards to Iraq? So Hitler mutilated, gassed and executed innocent people, hey, as long as we didn't go to war that would be fine, because we would hate for America to have gotten involved and made them change their way of life right, I mean it is all political?

That is what I am basically getting from some of these points. That it is wrong for America to get involved because we are evil. We only want oil (does any one really know that for sure?) But it is okay to allow people to be oppressed because it is their way of life and who are we to stop that kind of living / executions / biochem experimentation on innocent people.

Again, where were the voices against the wars we fought in Somolia and Bosnia? What made that okay, but doing the same in Iraq is different? Do the Iraqi's and Afghani's living in America really think we need to stay out? May I ask then, if they are so ready to defend Saddam and put up with his regime, why are they here? Do they really support the cruel treatment of women and girls and other atrocities committed by him?

Our intelligence shows that they do have a "dirty bomb", biowarfare weapons as well as chemical weapons. So do we just keep allowing countries to make nukes? How do we stress peace to warlords?

I suppose it really is time for me to quit posting on this thread. It won't make a difference. There are those of us who believe in freeing the oppressed and there are those that are so opposed to Bush and ANYTHING that he stands for that they will take the opposite no matter what. No one is going to change their mind based on a few posts made on this website, so it is really an exercise in futility.

That said: I'm done!
