Lost Leo, Looking at your buddies Saggie GF huh? Well, I'll bet the two of you get along, in a friendly / combative kind of way. For some reason there is nothing that a Sag chick and Leo kitty like more than going a few verbal rounds, and it doesn't stop after knowing each other for a long time. You really shouldn't let the fact that your mom is a Sag detour you from us Archer girls. We really can get a Leo to purrrr and you can really get us to...well.stick around... Contrary to what some may think, we are not cold in bed, nor are we quick like some of our male sun brothers. LOL... I'm glad that you are a bit intrigued. That's quite a compliment coming from a Leo!!! jwhop,
Soooo, now there will be a MickyD's and gas station on every street corner? Who will run them? I'm glad you like the debate....I find it to be arousing and educational at the same time. LOL IP: Logged |

Hi pidaua"Soooo, now there will be a MickyD's and gas station on every street corner? Who will run them? I'm glad you like the debate....I find it to be arousing and educational at the same time. LOL" Well pidaua, we wouldn't want to get too far ahead of ourselves. First we have to get those Iraqi oil fields flowing efficiently so the Iraqi citizens will have the cash to purchase our Chevys, Fords, Buicks, Caddys ect. And to get that oil flowing, who better than American companies which are the best in the world. Don't the Iraqi's deserve the very best? I don't know who will staff those gas stations and McDonalds pidaua. But hopefully, it will be people who speak fluent Arabic, unlike America where those workers seem uhh, English challeged. jwhop IP: Logged |

Alena: Don't leave! I enjoy your posts! I don't post much myself... however, I do read them. Like I said before, you're doing a great job! Hey, I LOVE to "boost the ego" The twisting statements around? Yes. That's happened to me a few times.. Some in which I don't know "how" it got changed into what it did ... but hey! IP: Logged |

The interconnectedness is hard to ignore. Of corse we gotta have looksy around----------Hell our main Man Saddam LOL is covered with dust. We chose to bomb the hell out of the Arab world. Where's Osama B L ????The unjust call to arms is not for sure the peace we seek. Utopia can be found aren't we supposed to evolve to higher levels? Linda Got you here!

BugginMy bet is Osama is in the tribal area of Yemen where even the government doesn't venture. If so, you can be sure he's keeping out of sight since one of our drones took out one of his top advisors. Must be hot as hell in a tent in the desert without air conditioning. But where ever he is, he's had much of his finances and means of moving those finances curtailed, his top people have been captured and are singing their lungs out. He'll be found. There was no unjust call to arms. Saddam got exactly what he deserved. Further, in spite of what you may think, there was an object lesson to be learned by the Middle East terrorist states. With the demise of Saddam's murderous regime, I think they're beginning to get the big picture. The US wasn't at war when the WTC was struck by terrorists. We aren't going to make peace with the terrorists but we will change their behavior or kill them, one or the other. The reasonable people in the area want freedom and self determination. In time, they will have it. jwhop IP: Logged |

Hi Shawnee Well all right girl, come to Florida, just leave your arrows at home Think you would like our beaches, you can actually get to the water without having to trample people in the process Like your idea of staffing those McDonalds and gas stations with Americans---poetic justice Give us a chance to sweep some of the gang members off the LA, Chicago and NY streets and teach them a marketable skill that doesn't involve a knife or gun jwhop IP: Logged |

Hi jwhop, Hmmm, Florida beaches...... Actually, I was out there for a cattlemen's meeting at San Marco Island and then spent some time in Fort Myers and Sanibel. It was beautiful and I had a blast. I am just not all that used to the humidity...it doesn't agree with my Archer mane. I grew up out West in Laguna, CA. You're right about the congestion at the beaches, fortunately, Cresent - North of Laguna Main - was more of a locals only beach and we didn't have too many stray tourists. Gotta run!!!! IP: Logged |

Well OK pidauaI had already gone over to Madeira Beach and put an X in the sand to hold you a spot but if a little humidity makes your mane limp, I'll go over later and remove it so a Northerner won't be shut out of the Sun and Fun. jwhop IP: Logged |

now, now jwhop....I wouldn't call myself a Northerner at all. That would really offend my Good Ol' Texas Daddy and Kansas Momma.. I have only been up here it Merryland for about 5 years. I am working my way back out West!!! I may be taking a job either in Texas, Idaho or back to California (depending on where they put the start up company or if I decide to take a position with another animal health / agri-business). I should be relocating somewhere around September or October. But, still save a spot for me. Who knows where this crazy path is taking me. As soon as Saturn gets the hell out my way, I'll be kicking butt!! LOL......where are those damn arrows? IP: Logged |

ShawneeOHMYGOD, you're a Yankee??? So, how did you wind up in Liboland my dear? Well, I've lived in Texas, been to the beach in Galveston and elsewhere. Have to say it's the next best thing to no beach at all. Idaho, NO. Wish you'd make up your mind Shawnee. It's almost 2 blocks to the beach to make and erase that X. jwhop IP: Logged |

Oh Jwhop, I am a Saggie, how can I make up my mind???? Actually, I moved to Liboland for a man. He's conservative, like me, but we are just friends now. My Dad's family is scattered all over Texas, mostly around South Padre and outside of Dallas. I like the area between Fort Worth and Dallas, Las Colinas, the best. It's reminds me of Orange County, except that they need a beach!! My brother is living in Northern Idaho and loves it with a passion. I have stayed in Couer d'Alene and that place is gorgeous. I am torn between loving the beach and the mountains - lake has be nearby!!! Annapolis, MD is nice. I do like the city dock and Western Maryland to get out in the fresh air and see the horse ranches and dairies, but nothing beats the real wide open spaces out West. What made you leave Texas? JW: 2 blocks from the beach?! That's all!! Pidaua, darlin, you have an X marking your spot... GO! I'm like you on the mountains... love them. Though a beach is nice too. I have a lake at my backdoor!... Now if the mosquitos stay at bay I'll be fine. Sorry, nothing political. Just wanted to say "Hi". IP: Logged |

Hi 1Scorp, Oh, I hate mosquitos too. Those little buggers can't seem to get enough of me and I know it's not cuz I'm that sweet...LOL You are so lucky to have a lake near you. I am just so spoiled from living most of my life in So. Cali. I grew up about 10 miles from the beach, 40 miles from the mountains and 60 miles from Palm Springs / Desert. When I lived in Portland, OR I would take off to Depoe Bay / Lincoln City and stay at this cute cottage / hotel and just watch the ocean. It does seem to center me. I love the sound of the waves on the sand and rocks. I also like going out to Apache Lake in Arizona. We go out there a few times a year and camp, hike and waterski. I'm really not that good at the latter..long legs and being somewhat clutzy doesn't make for pretty falls on the water. I've been to Kentucky only one time. For a large equine conference last year called Equitana in Louisville. Cool place! IP: Logged |

Hello pidauaHey I agree, a beach would be a great addition for the Dallas/Ft Worth area My family left El Paso because there wasn't a beach. I imagine lots of other people did too. You would probably like El Paso, at least it has a mountain Hi 1scorp Well, it's almost 2 blocks to the beach so I'm thinking about moving closer. Madeira Beach has an ordinance against mosquitos. jwhop IP: Logged |

Hi padauaHey Marty Robbins was great, wasn't he? Some artists can tell a story in song but most are just screechers Aw gee pidaua, it's the other T state that I'm from Does that mean you don't like me anymore? Would it help if I told you I also spent time in Odessa and Monahans, Anthony too? How about this, I spent most of my life in Southern California Conceived in Texas, that has important elements of a good song. Hi 1scorp Well yes, it's only 2 blocks to the beach but why do all that walking when I could be laying on the beach soaking up some sun and working on the tan? Gotta get closer, life's too short for walking. jwhop IP: Logged |
