Trillian, it's all in the poker face. Although, the set of aces up jw's sleeve could be a little damaging1

"bombshell"-now my curiosity is piqued!

Let's get jw drunk first, then maybe play the strip poker! Or can we switch to "Fish?" I'm a leettle bit better at that game.

Oh, my bombshell...sorry, didn't mean for it to be so cryptic! Just some...stuff...that my current love interest surprised me with. But it's stuff that's working itself out, so all is well and all manner of things are well...

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Hope you all have much to be thankful for (and I know you do!)!

What's this?? I got my cards all marked and aces in socks and sleeves and you wimmin are chickening out on strip poker?

What a revoltin development this is!

PS: It would take an alcohol IV drip to get me off my game.

OK, back to Solitaire!

jwhop, you might disagree with me, but I think it's a little unfair to the wimmin for only one guy to be in the game!

Hmm..an alcohol IV? I've always secretly wished for a caffeine IV to help wake me up.

Rummy has always been more my game, but I'm up for anything. (almost anything) As for poker, I always have to be reminded what beats what before I play.

Juniperb, take it easy today. I made the mistake of going out on Wednesday night-and it was a big night, due in part to an Aquarius I've been a little on and off with for a while now. It took a little while to recover, but it was fun nontheless.

Trillian, I hope whatever it is, that things continue to work out well! Sorry if it seemed like I was prying.

Unfair?? Not me, wouldn't think of it. Invite whoever you wish it sit in Oxy.

Well, don't worry about what beats what, I'll tell you after I see what cards you have.

You like Rummy eh? That have anything to do with Gin?

Ladies,

When preparing for a game of strip poker, it is usually prudent to question the gaming ethics of a chap who arrives at the table dressed like this:

Gin sounds good to me! jwhop, so nice of you to show me the ropes!

Daf-he's not wearing nearly enough layers for strip poker! Hysterical, btw! Does this mean you're in?

Wow, cool pic but if we're going to have a serious game of strip, you won't catch me dressed like that.

You're welcome Oxy. Always glad to help out a strip poker novice.

Precisely why you should check the sleeves of that jacket he's wearing for Aces and Jokers.

No, no strip poker for me. I'm afraid my calling lies down the Path of the chicken legg-ed. Besides, with my hairy posterior, it wouldn't rightly be fair. Stark naked I might as well be wearing pants.

Thank JW, just a gift from a fan. Here's a version for the other background color in case you'd like to use them elsewhere:

By the way, JW old chap..might wanna watch the ladies and that innocent routine they like to use to their advantage. More than one unsuspecting gentleman has gone into a rousing game of lose your shirt poker in full blizzard gear and come out dressed more like this:

Might watch the rate of consumption toward the final rounds..

Hey dafremen, I've got to confess to being totally impressed here. I have no arts or graphics talents myself. Guess that's why I appreciate it when I see the work of someone who is talented.

Still, no need for you to give them pointers to where the aces are hidden I think they expect me to cheat anyway. Think you've been nominated for the game dafremen. Between the two of us, we should be able to strip away the veils of mystery while still maintaining some semblance of personal modesty for ourselves.

Well, if worse comes to worse and they turn out to be sharks, as long as I'm left with my bow tie and a martini, I won't complain.

Good point Oxy. Not that I'm thinking about losing but Hey dafremen, could you make our arms a little longer?

Apparently either the temperature on that particular poker night was cold, or the ladies were more than a bit exposed themselves..eh JW? Hang-age appears to have been minimized, in any event.

Here you are, my good man. Arms lengthened as requested.

(Although, don't you think that's taking recycling a bit far? )

Refills anyone?

Refills? According to the alcohoroscopes in FFA, I'm a capital drink nurser.

Hey Daf, I didn't say so before, but those are really cool pictures. Good poetry, good art. So uh..what's your sign?

Hmmm dafremen, those arms are too short----these arms are too long---next set will be just right or the martini glass needs to be considerably larger.

Hi all.

Hmm..speaking of martinis, I desperately want to find those 1930's style martini glasses for the new apt.
Anyone have any suggestions where to find them?

I almost got suckered into a poker game with similar high stakes the other night. Actually, we ended up playing a Vietnamese version of poker. I kept losing.

Any tips for moving a bed in a snow storm?

How is everyone?

I don't know daf, it doesn't seem like the frog is hopping.

Funny, j.w. I'm sure there are plenty of Leos in NY. However, I have some willing Scorpios ready to help me haul my junk over. Just not in the snow. LOL

Oh, but this could mean a good ol' fashioned snowball fight.

Too funny daf but it never occurred to me someone would try reading between the sheets--errrr lines 911, my favorite number

Hey Oxy, I only thought of Leo because you know how those water signs freeze up in the cold weather Better bring a blowtorch or you may not get them thawed out till Spring On the bright side, you might have the makings for some good snowmen!
