You know, for some reason, people who are snide, abusive, cruel, and petty, in the name of free speech, are allowed to continue to post here. If it were my site, people like you guys would have been banned long ago - lucky for you this isn't my board.Dragging Pid into this, piggybacking an attack on her into an attack on Jwhop is just being mean for the sake of it, she made no comments here that I can see, so what is the point other than to be an ass? You know what, you guys can have your little mental masturbation fest back - and this forum can revert to a liberal mutual stroking session where y'all just live in a bubble that your views are the only valid views that exist. I'm through. I can't stomach the meanness and ******** that's tolerated here. You can't have honest debate when people base their debate on ad hominem arguments that get meaner and meaner as the attackee pushes back. And the little "ganging up" school yard tactics are transparent and embarassing. So there's one less conservative to deal with - one down two to go. I've got better things to do than spend my free time where such venemous, abusive ******** is thrown about so freely by so few with no repurcussions - where people revel in their ability to be cruel ******** . Some of you people are more interested in being right than being heard, more interested in forcibly "enlightening" people rather than making good points, changing minds through facts, or even just having your side heard. No, that apparently is not enough. Well you have at it... Some of you are just plain ugly people.

hey carlo - we've never talked but i share a lot of your views. denegrating someone for their race, however, isn't one of them. i'm asking you to please lay off that tactic. i wasn't involved in that last thread about name-calling, but i did read it and i believe Pidua asked you nicely to lay off the racial slurs directed at her. i don't know her either, but i would ask the same - it's really base behavior, and doesn't help the energy around here. you're probably not the only culprit, but i started out trying to ask some questions on this thread and it turned, once again, into a mud slinging contest. IS it a guy thing, like jw said? do you guys really not bother each other? i find it a waste of energy that goes nowhere, but hey, i'm a woman. maybe i'm missing something. IP: Logged |

Xelena Ben your very neutral in your views and all and that's cool,but if you really follow through of this thread when Tink and I and Carlo (of course) were first talking and then...you make your own judgement ...but if you think that the last thread that Isis posted settles well with you,then I think that the union between you and I, (that has just started) has adruptly come to a stand still!

This article is biased, hostile and clearly posted to get a rise out of the "anti-american left".It could be argued that those leftists that oppose the American troops being deployed are more American than those that wish to keep them there. The opposed wish to preserve the lives of their (fellow American) soldiers. The ones for it are issuing them a death sentance. I would also like to state that I believe there would be a whole lot less atrocities commited by our (so called) liborators if they were treated with even an inkling of the respect the general American population is treated with. The rest of us have to ability to seek higher paying jobs... not those boys and girls at war... the make JACK SH@T. Lousy medical (doctors and coverage). No vacation time. I know plenty of people who have been totally screwed over by the military because they JOINED it. It is obvious that to me that the men and women who do the most to defend this country get dumped on while people's beloved polititians (who weren't ever supposed to even receive a salary) get richer. Isis ~ oddly funny at times though he may be, I think Carlo's mo IS to be an ass. I say that in a respectful and civil sort of way. Of course racism is never ever funny and he really should stop. Racism is the root cause of all this ugliness going on in the world right now. Any person who engages in it is responsible for causing some of that ugliness, which ripples out and hurts us all in the long run. Case in point: 9/11

Ozone, I can always count on you to NEVER make sense. Your lack of integrity and intellect is apparant in your inane posts. You obviously have a chemical imbalance as you are the only human being to ever correlate my being American Indian to wanting to work with the Nazis. That statement - pure paranoia and conspiratorial in nature - points to someone that may be in dire need of antischziophrenia medication. You see alliances where none exist. You need some help - badly. As to the other..he can pretend to think what he wants concerning me or mine. His opinion, however now veiled in politically correct speech, does not affect me. I said my peace earlier and won't waste my breath again. Just because I do not like him (or you..Carlo) does not mean I cannot respond to unreasonable, no - let me rephrase that, intellectually bankrupt statements that spew from under the rock in which you live.
And yes...there is a direct connection between the Archer and being American Indian..and I rest assured, my peeps didn't scalp - we had much nastier methods for disposing of arrogant weendogs.
As for my support of Jwhop - I think he is extremely intelligent. Even if I wasn't a Pubbie, I would find it intellect refreshing. I also find many people here that represent the middle and left ground to be rather brilliant and I am not so insecure that I cannot pay them respect. Ozone, the only thing I`m trying to tell you is I`m trying to understand your ups and downs and apparently failing.
