TUCSON, Ariz. (Oct. 22) - Two men ran onstage and threw custard pies at conservative columnist Ann Coulter as she was giving a speech at the University of Arizona, hitting her in the shoulder, police said.

University police arrested the men but did not release their identities.

In her half-hour speech Thursday night, Coulter trashed Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry and derided liberals and Democrats while saluting conservative students who attended her speech.

Coulter writes a column for Universal Press Syndicate. Her appearance was sponsored by the UA College Republicans.

Here's something that pretty much says it all and for those(of course)that will make rebuttles against what it is written can only go forth to agree that history only repeats itself, by only erasing it!

Ann Coulter — Dangerous Revisionist

Revisionism — it is a philosophy embraced by every totalitarian government that attempts to establish historical legitimacy. If the history books do not say what is needed to ensure complete and lasting control, burn them. Replace them with a new historical record — erase the past and seize the future.

We are not surprised when we read how Adolf Hitler invented a glorious Aryan history for the people of Germany. It is not too shocking to hear that Saddam Hussein rewrote the history of his people in order to claim that he is a direct descendant of Babylonian kings.

Keeping this in mind, does the Republican Party really need to have the history of American politics rewritten to exonerate Senator Joseph McCarthy from the disgrace he brought upon them during what has become known as the “McCarthy Era”?

For those of you who neither lived during the 1950s nor have studied American History, Joseph Raymond McCarthy was a Republican U.S. senator (1947–1957 who instigated highly publicized Senate hearings in the early 1950s into alleged Communist subversion of the U.S. government. His often-unsubstantiated charges and extreme methods led to a Senate censure and political disgrace for himself and several other politicians of the time.

McCarthy used unsubstantiated accusations and unfair methods of investigation to discredit people who worked for the U.S. government or in the entertainment industry. While he did not serve in the House, he has come to typify political investigations of those who were suspected of being “un-American” by the House Un-American Activities Committee. Those who refused to appear before the committee or cooperate fully were often blacklisted, denied employment, housing, and the freedom to freely associate with others. McCarthy brought focus on these practices when he attempted to use theSenate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations of the Senate Committee on Government Operations as a platform to rid the U.S. Army of suspected communists. This resulted in his being censured and rightfully vilified.

Revisionist Totalitarianism

Ann Coulter does more than attempt to clear McCarthy’s name in her new book, Treason: Liberal Treachery from the Cold War to the War on Terrorism, she endorses a totalitarian philosophy that is, ironically, the antithesis of our American values.

In Coulter’s world, there is no room for debate. When challenged, she engages in typical demagoguery. Certainly, she would argue that comparing her writing style to that of dictators and propagandists is a “liberal” tactic. Anyone who does not follow her personal agenda is a “liberal” whether they are Democrat, Independent, Libertarian, socialist, environmentalist, or a freethinking Republican.

Plain and simple, Coulter does not fight a fair fight. She chose the subject of her historical revision to her advantage. Most of those who lived through the McCarthy area are no longer living and cannot debate the issues she presents. After 50 years, too much time has passed to reexamine these events completely and accurately.

In a recent television interview, Coulter defended her book by stating that all history books are written by liberals and with her book she has undone a great injustice. This statement is hardly worth comment except that it gives us a strong indication that Coulter is either a clumsy prevaricator or simply insane.

It appears as if Coulter has misinterpreted the growing interest in conservatism and the successes of the GOP in recent elections as a shift toward totalitarianism — in which a single political party exists without opposition and rules over political, economic, social, and cultural life.

Perhaps she is waiting in the wings for the moment that George W. Bush calls her forth to rewrite the pages of history like some kind of modern day Leni Riefenstahl. (Yes, I am aware that Coulter compared Katie Couric to Eva Braun.)

Sorry, Ann. Your services and your black-hearted propaganda are not needed by this President — and hopefully none in the near future. It is disappointing to see so many young people being influenced by this woman’s words. They are words that are meant to tear down opportunities for cooperation, breed intolerance, and — above all — sell books.

What many people do not realize it that Coulter’s hypothesis has been seen before. Thirty years ago, it was not the “liberals” who were demonized for framing poor Joe McCarthy — it was the Jews. There is probably little distinction between Jews and liberals in Ann Coulter’s world. She simply knows that she must employ a euphemism in order to sell her books. They are a lighter, sanitized, and more palatable version of the anti-Jewish propaganda of the past.

In her previous book, Slander: Liberal Lies About the American Right, Coulter put forth that liberals control the media — sound familiar? It is the recurring claim that Jews control the media skewed a bit for a newer audience of often young and under-educated Republicans.

If people keep buying the garbage Coulter churns out, in 30 years time we can expect her to rewrite the history of Nixon and Watergate. In Coulter’s version, Nixon will be the victim of a communist conspiracy, the tapes will be cleaver fakes, and most of those who witnessed the events will not be here to dispute it.

Damaging the Conservative Cause

For many of us who hold conservative views, the recent shift in the country’s politics has been too long in coming. However, there is no guarantee that the next election will not put liberal Democrats back in power. The 2002 election was not a landslide and control of Congress is about as narrow as it could be.

Why do conservatives buy books that call those with liberal views “un-American” or “traitors”? Perhaps it is the novelty of finally being in the driver’s seat. After eight years of Clinton, many young voters have never experienced a Republican president. It feels good to be a winner — however ungracious.

When Republicans embrace ugly, pointless rhetoric like that being marketed by Ann Coulter, it only increases the chances that the next U.S. president will be a woman named Hillary.

Though alot of people will argue that the accusation by this author is either "nonsense, divel, BS", I can't seem to help myself from this feeling that I've been having that the subject that the thread(that I've found this at)holds some sort of profound foreshadowing of things to come!

Two...two sentences that can not only rectify the possible outcomes of one leading the other, but the question remains in the bottom of my heart: "Is it the end of the world as we know it?"

Now before anybody starts jumping into conclusions to the question that I have just asked(because of the fact that the sentence does have another meaning to it), look at the question again and maybe what I'm trying to say and hopefully the rest of this post can broaden areas that I don't think that the most of us even realize...

The two sentences that I'm about to say is this: If Kerry wins, from the claims of the Bush adminastration, we will have another attack on America at stake!

(Is this a threat on us by an adminstration?)

And the second sentence is: If Bush wins, American can possibly look forward to of either a second civil war or maybe even worse then that, a possible WWIII!

(Though it won't seem like it right away for the time being, a 'sign of the times' can only be that of the accurences of multiple events have taken place, that have repeated themselves time and time again, all compile into one given time...)

Give and take, it's not all events will take place right away over the possible outcome that I'm adhered, but I do see that maybe everything is going rather backwards and not really forwards at all!

This woman...this Ann Coulter frightens me greatly, for not only what she says and writes, but to a great astonishment, she reminds me of another columnist and commentator, one of the 9/11 victims, the late Barbara Olson. Funny, during the very short few years that Olson spent in the lime light(from either her being on CNN or her books that have bashed the Clintons,etc), it took me a while to find anything on her other then her faced with her tragic fate, this is what I did finally come up with on her:

I've been really reading up on the events of 9/11 for the past couple weeks(doing my own investigating) and I see alot more horrors then that meet the eyes, to the broadcast images from the back of my mind, to the empty void feeling from the bottom of my heart, to the imagined screams and crys of those moments that fill my ears, till my soul has reached into that state of intoxication of the event that I was witnessing again once more, but not of that.. to that.. I was onlooking during that... one sunny morning in the lobby of the veterans hospital in Columbus Ohio(that is were I was at the time), I was there, at Ground Zero on September 11th 2001, this time around!

Now, I "look to the west" and I see to me that things are unfolding before my very eyes, events that have not accured, but this doesn't mean that they have to, even though(lately,from I have seen so far) these things might take place as certain to my predictions that I have of this post's possible reproach, I think that I am witnessing history at the making and that America will sooner or later become apart of that history, everything that we ever had before these dark and misable fours years, is no longer here and the world that we have once knew, no longer exists, it's only a matter of time before all that we know about of(that is before us) will all fade away and the only thing that it is holding onto it, is within our own memories, until the time too for us will join in and fade away with the rest of everything!

It's like the brief teaching that I have received from a man that had deep knowledge of that of the Shamans has pointed out to me many years ago and this is what he had to say:

"O' bright and fiery ball, the Sun as it may, in constant brightness and changes of positions as it may can never be witnessed of such(even though we know it is true), can only be seen once and with that it will be the very last thing we'll ever see again, if only dare to do so! How it always knows how to reach and take the waters to it's grasp and hold onto it in mid air and then release it back from where it came, some enjoy such!

O' Water and Stone, how the both of you brothers always tend to contrast against eachother to win your battles for the directions that you wish to be? And to think that America will be forever...

...but there will be something like it again, some other sunny day!

As they say, "History repeats itself" and I think that so do we.

The title to this post doesn't seem like anything that I have talked about just now and I think that I just wanted to leave that part out until the very end of this post. I've mentioned about the fact that I was doing a little bit of investigating of 9/11 and I just want to show you the reasons why I did. I was looking at some footage and photos of that day and of the events that have taken place, one picture caught my eye and it has sent chills up and down my spine when I looked even closer into that picture. Indeed it was pointed out to me and I have seen this photo maybe about a hundred times before, but I never noticed the oddity of the picture until I was directed to look closer! To take note, this picture was made as a case to the FEMA report and I'm sure it was too with the 9/11 commission, what's in this photo scared the crap out of me and I wanted to find out more about what entails into it!

Now has anybody ever noticed this? Look closer at the picture and see if you can find the woman in it!

Sooner or later, Coulter gets around to puncturing each and every fantasy of the left. She's been a very busy lady.

Being brain cell challenged, they dare not engage Coulter directly in any kind of intellectual debate on the issues. Outgunned intellectually and facts challenged, they must snipe at Coulter from the cheap seats.

So like the Toy Poodles they are, their only recourse is to reach up and attempt to bite her ankles or throw pies to shut her up, as two Kerryites did the other day when Coulter was demolishing their favorite traitor, John Kerry.

True, these cowardly Kerryites had the advantage in their physical confrontation with Coulter but only because Coulter was dressed appropriately for her appearance, including high heels and of course, there were 2 of them.

Still, they threw their pies at Coulter, then ran like hell. Lucky for them Coulter wasn't dressed in filthy tennis shoes and baggy jeans like the drivel spouting Marxists who are normally invited to speak on college campuses. Hello Michael Moore

My personal opinion is that dressed appropriately for a physical confrontation, Coulter would have chased them down and beat the hell out of them.

Those cowardly Kerryites didn't get out unscathed though. I guess they forgot who Coulter's audience was...young Republicans and not metrosexual girlie men. They did chase the little cowards down and some reports indicate they left some skin and body fluids at the point of capture.

One day, I'm sure Coulter will get around to validating one of the reasons Kerry said Americans should vote Kerry/Edwards, the only truthful reason Kerry gave.

They do have better hair.

Anything(so far that I have seen out of her writing skills)is not out of any kind of investications into fact finding or even into any kind of accuracy at that of what she even is talking about or knows what she is even talking about, the only thing that is really sound in her so-called journalism, is just selling an opinion and putting it into hard cover, but that is all that it is: her opinion!

Sheesh, I get better hate e-mail that is more articulate, that you would think that came from no other then "gutter trash" and that is all that she seems to know how to write about, along with "her opinion" is her proficuous hate! She doesn't give a damn who wins this election, all she cares about is selling another piece of her crap in hopes that it will be on paperback by Christmas!

What did you think of Jon Stewart calling Tucker Carlson a dick on Crossfire? Jon Stewart does butt sniff John Kerry including many comedians and celebrities. Have you noticed the amount of celebrities endorsing Kerry? For all of their wit, why are comedians always liberal?

Second: It's Republicans like you that doesn't want the rest of America to practice they're first Amendment rights unless they themselves are conservative to the extreem and that's why we think you people are pushing for a 4th Reich!

Third: That's right Eleanore and that is why we see that more and more the Repukes moving closer to those countries, with they're jobs, businesses, family settings, vacation spot, etc. But they say that WE'RE the Communist! When are people going to see that they are putting us on?!

And finally: You ask why comedians and celebrities are liberal Starlover, maybe that's because liberals and libertarians were born with a soul and it came with a personality included and we're pretty good at using it, without having to distribute cruelity to the rest of the world, just to show that we are entertaining and funny with peaceful measures!

Right after 9/11 a TV News station in Colorado showed a picture taken from more distance than this one and it had an evil laughing face on the side of the tower. Or at least it looked like a face. I think it was an illusion created by smoke. The picture was out over the internet.

The worse sights from 9/11 that reall struck me hard were the people falling out of the building to their deaths. Horrible. Hard to get that image out of your mind.
