When I came the the exact one you were talking about by Tink: ""I imagine us sitting, cross-legged, facing each other in that Magical, Golden field, surrounded by woods, I happened upon once when I was 12 - and then, strangely, could never find again."" It reminded me of my place. The place I used to go to get away. Oh how I remember the times there. And oh how fast I have forgotten it as well. It wasnt until reading Tink's post that I remembered "that special place" I remember going to that spot, a few years later, walking right thru it, and not even realizing I had been not only thru it, but am now past it. When I traced my steps back andfound it - it was not how I had pictured it in my mind at all. Had a very different feeling to the whole thing. Also as per Matthew 23 quote: 8. As for you, do not be called 'Rabbi.' You have but one teacher, and you are all brothers. 9. Call no one on earth your father; you have but one Father in heaven. 10 Do not be called 'Master'; you have but one master, the Messiah. I answer to no one but my Self and my God. I say master as it denotes someone who has "mastered" something - a skill, a craft. Something very important. Quite a difference, yes? That's what Charles Manson said to those who called him Master. And then there was David Koresh...and the guy who promised everyone a trip in a spacecraft... People do get hurt when putting their faith in paper tigers. Maybe snake oil never killed anyone...but it certainly destroyed some faith. I think the waters are getting choppy from the stone the 'master' has cast in the pond..
