*pixie* I was just going back thru and re-reading posts. When I came the the exact one you were talking about by Tink: ""I imagine us sitting, cross-legged, facing each other in that Magical, Golden field, surrounded by woods, I happened upon once when I was 12 - and then, strangely, could never find again."" It reminded me of my place. The place I used to go to get away. Oh how I remember the times there. And oh how fast I have forgotten it as well. It wasnt until reading Tink's post that I remembered "that special place" I remember going to that spot, a few years later, walking right thru it, and not even realizing I had been not only thru it, but am now past it. When I traced my steps back andfound it - it was not how I had pictured it in my mind at all. Had a very different feeling to the whole thing. Anyways, just wanted to throw that in there.angela

Dear LibraSparkle,I need two days of silence. I will answer you as soon as I am back. Dear Daf, I have not forgotten my service to you. You also want to know what your names are. I will you later. Dear Starlover,
Your color is white and your planet is the Moon. You are in the Valley of Quest. Your spiritual teacher is a musician. Dear Aen and Angel of Hope, I will answer you in a couple of days as I have taken a vow of silence as part of the fasting in Ramadan. As my teacher instructed me, in your fasting, you can wish for anything. The silence is toward: hoping for peace and reconciliation among all people hoping all violent behavior will stop hoping all drowns in the ocean of love Serenity,

Greetings Master, My initial reactions to your first post was much like this then it became much like this I am concerned about my friend Chloe, she desperately needs to know if she'll find true love? ie. Her twin? Its important to her, she is a sweet soul, very quiet & gentle, and deserves a great life. My question however, concerns my s-elf. what valley do you see me in? And am I being honest with mys-elf? Thankyou Master, SunChild IP: Logged |

I'm still in the mode concerning this string, but carry on. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

It's okay Randall, we should all just sit back and see how this string will unfold. No one will get hurt. We'll all learn something new! Whatever that may be. -StarLover IP: Logged |

magidivision -You say that truth is found in action (in deed). Then you referred to the Sermon on the Mount, as if to corroborate this claim. I cannot find that verse you quoted, even loosely translated... but I do know this one: "Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them." - Matthew 6;26 And, have you considered the lillies of the field?: "how they grow: they toil not, neither do they spin" I strongly disagree with your insistance upon works, and I counter with an equally passionate promotion of faith. Have you read the Upanishads?: "[Into deep realms of suffering falls the man who follows the way of thought. Into still deeper realms falls the man who follows the way of action.]" ------------------ "Let the beauty we love be what we do. There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground." - Rumi IP: Logged |

Heartshaped, You are right. Although he quoted the verse, its not accurate. I always double check the bible. The original has more meaning. Also as per Matthew 23 quote:
8. As for you, do not be called 'Rabbi.' You have but one teacher, and you are all brothers. 9. Call no one on earth your father; you have but one Father in heaven. 10 Do not be called 'Master'; you have but one master, the Messiah.
So fellow brothers who are Christian, and called Magi a master pay heed and correct yourself.

I Am That ~When you say original, are you refering to a specific version of the bible? 10 Do not be called 'Master'; you have but one master, the Messiah. Verrrry interesting... Although, I'm not a Christian. IP: Logged |

I am a Christian. Very much so. I do not say "master" as it might relate to a relationship - me master, you slave. I answer to no one but my Self and my God. I say master as it denotes someone who has "mastered" something - a skill, a craft. Something very important.Quite a difference, yes? Just to clear things up. IP: Logged |

No One will get hurt? Indeed. That's what the Rev. Jim Jones said when he passed out the kool-aid. That's what Charles Manson said to those who called him Master. And then there was David Koresh...and the guy who promised everyone a trip in a spacecraft...People do get hurt when putting their faith in paper tigers. Maybe snake oil never killed anyone...but it certainly destroyed some faith. That kool-aid wasn't snake oil, but it killed a lot of followers. IP: Logged |

Well said Trillian Hey Tink & Sun Child, good to see you back.Hmm.. I think the waters are getting choppy from the stone the 'master' has cast in the pond.. On the whole though, things are becoming alot more realistic now from everyone who's contributed on this page ------------------ "We see everything through a glass, darkly. Sometimes we can peer through the glass and catch a glimpse of what is on the other side. If we were to polish the glass clean, we'd see much more. But then we would no longer see ourselves."
