Here is just one example why- A very close freind of mine [we will just call him slapy] was pulled over by the NY state police [also known around here as total slobs] at about 2:30 am while coming back from the bands recording studio. They found about 3 grahms of mid grade herb [pot, marijuana, the izm, what ever you amy call it] on him. Next thing you know they are accusing him of driving while high. He passes all the rediculous sobriety test that are generaly barely good enough to catch a drunk driver. This particular slave of the union [the cop, not slapy] decides he doesnt want to look like a jerk, so he formaly arests slapy for DUAI. Brings my budy donw to the station, then procedes to tell him that he eihter submits to a urine test or he is guilty and gets the charge anyway. Now most of you reading this, my self, and that sorry excuse for someone who is supposed to be "protecting and serving" all know that it could have been 3 weaks ago that Slapy last toked a joint, and he would still have come up posative on a urine test. The test is not designed to show if he was high at that time of driving. The ocifer threw him between a real "rock and a hard place" . Since this incident of total harasment occured his court trial has already taken place. He even waisted a few thousand dollars on a uselass lawyer. All the lawyer did for him was give him an option to apply [not get, apply] for a condition drivers license for 6 months. If Im not mistaken he could have asked the judge for the permisioin to apply for a conditional him self. Then the same day the trial is over the DMV tells him he owes them $400 on the spot. Only to be told his license is revoked the very next day...And that he wont get an answer about a conditional till sometime in the next 60 days... Neither the judge, DMV, skervy lawyer, police,or legislatures who allowed the courts and police to commit such an act of extortion care that he now has no legal way to get to work to pay the court, his car loan, insurance, and the peaple he owes for the lawyer fees. Why is no one doing their true Patriotic duty to help out a fellow american in such a predictament and time of need ???..Especialy since this one lone citican is far from an isolated case. And this also is far from the only way our NY legal sytem extorts mass amounts of money from our public. Many of you here in LL dont live in NY, so perhaps you havent been able to see hands on why Ive been coming acrost as so disgruntled with our current american ways. Perhaps more should be concerned that your own states are gona follow NY's examples in the futer, near or further. ? Or perhaps certain other knowflakes here think this sort of strong arming and extortiinism is ok , and will turn your heads the otehr way saying "well these peaple shouldnt be breaking the laws then, and its theri own fault". If you are about to come off with such a comment- look up at the details of this little story- Slapy didnt only get a possesion charge wich he was obveously guilty of, no big deal in NY , its only a violation in small amounts here. He was nailed with a very faulse accusation of driving under the influence. I know he wasnt high, last he toked was earlyer that night around 8 pm. Besides trusting him to tell me the truth about having smoked agian or not, I also know that the bands rules are to never ever drink or smoke during practice, performance, and certainly recording sessions. No band member is allowed to break these codes, they are all very sereous about them. Excluding jwhops [can already hear what he would have to say aobut such a thing with his more toltalitarian mentality], I would like to hear others opinions and views on this one of many tales of suppresion we allow our government to impose on our very own countrymen and women. I think a valid case could be made about whether or not he was under the influence, so he should appeal and get a decent lawyer. On the other hand, this seems like an excellent lesson in why pot is really not worth being into. Sure it may be the least dangerous drug, but is the risk worth the reward? I don't think it is. IP: Logged |

Yeah, I was thinking his lawyer was preety incompetant , either that or lazy. As far is pot worht the legal risks or not,,,. Since it was total BS pollitics starting with a way to handle illigial imigrants back since the 1920's and 1930's that first pushed it to be illigalized acrost the country.... And its only BS pollitics and erogence that keeps it this illigal now,,, Personaly I think its atleast worth some very demanding protest's,,, and or Patriotic action . If not just for the sake of all the peaple who have had their lives wrecked over something far more safe and less dangerous then alcohol, all for their obsurd pollitics.... I dont even want to go into what they do to those who are caught growing more hten 2 plants of Creations 1 of many herbs he gave us to use. If anything, such legislation goes against several codes of this universe. From motive and reason, to the way its enfoced. Also not sure if we should touch the subject of how much we waist in our federal budget every year just to catch peaple growing, and distibuting pot.... And we havent even achieved any results in stoping any of it. In my oppinion as I sit here observing whats going on around me,,, of course. IP: Logged |

I do love seeing that Aquarius loyalty! That's pretty cool. The person I'm closest to in my family is my youngest sister who's an Aquarius. Her and I are the only two non-fire sun signs in our family of seven. She's also very loyal, and would fight for anyone she loves.IP: Logged |

Sorry about your friends problems. Without getting into any kind of debate as to whether or not pot should be legal, (I have my own views as do most), the fact is....it is illegal, and your friend knows that. He shouldn't have been driving around with it on him...not right bright. That's just asking for trouble. Generally, when you ask for it...you get it.IP: Logged |

Ok, perhaps driving around with it on you when you dont need to bring it to where your going to use it ,,, is less then wise. Unfortinatly my problems with NY's extorionist jusdicial [hate useing that word for this legal system] system go well beyond busting stoners. As I said up there, this was only one example of my frustration with NY tyrany. We have a wonderfull new system of surcharges along with fines for every last ticket issued. A failure to wear a seat belt ticket for example- $50 fine, $65 durcharge . $65 doller surcharge ? Was in court the other day at another freinds ordeal,,, heard somebudy with a violation of I dont even remember what- only a $20 fine,,,, look out for the $50 surcharge Sir ! Now that NY state funded our county for 500 more [no not a typo, 500] officers throughout my county alone. We where already in a very full force of union slaves, now we have another 500 ,very bored cops driving all over the place...Not much for real crime for em to catch,,, so what do they do,, just sit in there cars setting up speed traps, leting the shift go bie,,? Nope, they are orderd to be excesibvly acitve. Road blocks everywhere, even on busy roads during morning and evening rush hour [like its not hard enough to get to work on time]. Everyone I know, and dont know geting pullled over atleast once a month, with no real explanation why. "oh sorry about that, you have a good day now Sir" . Maybe I cant call this harasment anymore because its happenign to anyone who isnt a "pillar of the community",,, but Im damn sure this is extortionism at its absolute grimyest. I only wish it was still stoners and speeders they where messing with. Who can afford to pay off $65 doller tickets, with $80 surcharges 2 or 3 times a year ? Everything else in NY state is expensive enough. Just when you thought your $900 studio or one bedroom apartment was rapeing your wallet . IP: Logged |

Acoustic, Im glad someone in this forum can atleast apreciate my Uranian motives for my more outlandish statements. So heres some more !hahaha- Luckily, the next almost 2,500 years, are mine, and my kinds age ! This period of times illusion has just been taken over by the upside down plannet. And thats exactly where the mentalities and sytems of governing a society are GONA GET THROWN UP SIDE DOWN FROM THE GRIME WE VOTE INTO POWER NOW !!! And Im gona love every last second and day I get to watch it unfold, now and after my life in this body is complete. Every last discusting self preserving person, and their way of life on this globe are soon to be in a world of IT . The days of black and white, rite and left, and certainly democrats vs. republicans while we all stand here wangs out ,bent over the table and car hoods, geting flogged are soon , FINISHED. To those who have been making profit on screwing thy brother and sister- Hope ya enjoyed it, and made oodles of cash while it lasted, and thanks for trying to make the world a darker place then it realy needed to be. Crazy or not, these views are destined to become the common knowledge. If humanity on Earht survives the comming chaos of course. Moma nature is pist, and now she sent my breed of souls to fix the mess. Is everyone ready ?! IP: Logged |

You're like the only Aquarius I see around here. Isn't it interesting how some signs just aren't into it? I wonder how many Aquarius even realize it's their age. It's ok if you reserve judgement on me, or anyone else as far as I'm concerned. Lord knows I do with a lot of people. I do honestly enjoy Aquarius people a lot, though. Such a bizarre sense of humor. I'll say that, even though Aquarius are the cliche 'best friends' of the zodiac, I find it to be true. I had an Aquarius roommate for a long time, and even though he was at least 10 years older than me (maybe even 15) he was so cool to me. We'd both be unemployed and he'd take me to Tahoe where everything was comped because of his prior spendings at the hotel. The air's so thin up there I was snoring like you wouldn't believe, but he put up with it. He was pure mischief, but so much fun. His favorite fun activity was messing with people. Lord help you if you brought him to a sporting event or viewing where everyone was rooting for one team. He'd ALWAYS be so vocal about his support for the opposite team people would get mad. One day, I think it was the Super Bowl or something, he was up to his usual hijinks at a Super Bowl party, and the married hosts leaned in toward one another and were saying something we couldn't hear. I decided it was the perfect opportunity to give my roommate a little bit of his own medicine, so I told him that they were talking about him. All of a sudden he was VERY concerned, and was asking me about what they were saying and if they were really upset, and so forth, so I let him fret for a few moments and told him I just made it up. He still went to them and made sure they knew he was just messing with everyone. He also went to a few concerts with me. With Aquas it doesn't seem to matter what kind of music they're into, they'll still go to a concert and see anyone. He always had a great time, too. Anyway, I don't know why I wrote all this, but there it is. Aquas are cool. I still have a lot to learn about them, though. IP: Logged |

TINK- "Magus ~ tell your friend that humanity isn't going to survive that chaos if we're on mind-altering drugs. "" Perhaps not,,, but maybe they will panic less if they are better sedated when it all hits the fan!? ahahhahahhaha Yeah, Ive almost always liked what Juniperb has had to say. Acoustic- ahahahha oh man,,, All Aqua's are supposd to be unique,,, but I think Ive done some of that stuff my self. Including being at Yankee games with my uncle, rooting for the Royals, and Tigers, just because... He hated it. I couldnt have been older then 12. Too bad more peaple wont just check out any sorta sound, if not just to help expand your own dynamics for music. Alot of my own freinds have been either significantly older, or younger. I think your budy just knew that you get alot more out of life, and freindship if you forget about numbers of age. It realy is all trivial. After all, if a 50 year old is hagin with a 64 year old, will anyone notice then ?! IP: Logged | |
