there was a huge explosion in the richmond (ca)refinery here the other day, randall. as this refinery is a major source of nationwide gas/oil, it has added at least 25c to a gallon's price, like overnight.another illustration of how the drilldrilldrill crowd do not understand the whole business of pricing. if more american drilling would bring down the price at your pump, then alaska would not have $5 gallons, would they? locale is not the answer. it'll go down again when enough people decide to stay home rather than pay through the nose.
