But unconditional love does exist. I try to practice it. It is not always easy. I was for example chased by a crack head woman and fell and broke ribs. I still suffer from that years later. Even though she was chasing me with a loaded gun and caused me to suffer permanet injury...I sat and talked with her and listened to her woes a few days later. I was on our porch when my husband came home to find me sitting with her drinking tea and talking. Another crack head showed up who had robbed me before. My husband was very worried for me, but I said to him later.."they came to talk so I listened."
I was never robbed or attacked by them again. The first woman chased me because she saw a werewolf in her shower and was convinced I sent it to her.

Yes, Jwhop, you are right. This had died and it was two KS members who brought it up again by giving their thoughts. I truly wish they had not done that but instead just let it rest. But they felt the need to express their thoughts since both of them were away when it all came up.

I did notice that. But I also noticed that all of you guys eagerly jumped in with the accusations once again when Lalalinda gave her opinion. It takes two to make an argument. So you cannot put the blame entirely on the KS people.

If everyone had just let WN and Cardinalgal speak their minds, and then let Lalalinda give her thoughts since she was not involved in all the other KS threads either there would not be over 250 posts here now.

As Pix stated, there is nothing that hasn't already been said. It has all become redundant. We all know how you feel and we all know how the people from the KS site feel. No one is going to change anyone's mind so it is pointless going on with this.

You gals had a right to speak out and give your opinions. As did Lalalinda. The rest of us have already given our opinions and expressed our feelings regarding all of this. So now that everyone ( hopefully ) has been heard from...I agree with Fayte, Pix, Lialei and everyone else who suggests we go on to more important things. KS has been hashed and rehashed many times.

Writesomething, hate is a pretty strong word to use. I don't hate Lotus or anyone else. Mostly I just ignore Lotus but at times I do say something to her when she jumps in on threads just to start trouble and usually she does that by insulting another poster. Now you may think we have to condone that kind of behavior but we don't. No one does and to condone it is to enable it to continue on. So, yes, once in a while I do say something to her. Though I know it does nothing but serve to get her the attention she is obviously lacking in her offline life. If Lotus cared at all whether or not she is liked by other people she might consider when many, many people keep telling her the same thing about her behavior that she might need to work on a few faults of her own instead of pointing out the faults in everyone else and that by working on those faults she might have better relationships with other people.

Thanks Mirandee although I wish I'd spoken with half the maturity and wisdom of WN when she said "And if they did not want me, the rejection would have hurt my ego, but I would have moved on"

As far as I'm concerned, I don't think there's anything wrong with a group of like-minded people getting together to chat, which is all that I can see KS was from the few pages I've read. Granted, a few people have found unpleasant opinions about themselves (and yes, I thought I'd been included in that until I'd seen the context it had been written in) but then there is the old warning that those who listen at keyholes will only hear ill of themselves. If we are going to go looking for people's opinions of us then I suppose we ought to be ready to take the bad with the good. *Note to self... don't leap off deep end next time you read your name mentioned in a thread!

We have to speak as we find I suppose, and I've found lots of people on this forum (both those who were KS members and those who weren't) who are wonderful, intelligent and kind human beings. Nothing changes that. I can't remember who it was on this thread who said that we're all guilty of talking about people behind their backs, (lovers, friends, relatives, colleagues etc) but it's absolutely true. We do discuss third parties here, but we do so because sometimes, we all just need to vent. So I can understand the need to go away somewhere other than this forum and get rid of the angst or the frustration. I'm sure there aren't many of us who don't go away and fume to our partners etc if we've had a heated exchange on here.

You expressed it all very well and I share your thoughts on the whole thing regarding seeing yourself being talked about on threads anywhere. We basically had the same reactions and feelings about the whole thing. And came to the same way of thinking about it all.

Yes, we all do talk about others behind their backs whether we admit it or not, and just as often as we vent some bad things ( which are usually based on just misunderstandings ) we also have good things to say about others behind their backs.
