i believe there was love and light there, as there is here...

but every 'apology', not that apologies were even necessary, was drowned out by protests, justifications, cries of 'trials' and 'crucifixions'....

even still...it's an 'us' and 'them' attitude....and if someone states feelings about the matter, more protests of how 'wrong' it is to have this perspective....that the 'ks' justification was not 'accepted' is just more injury for the ks members, who stick together, and defend and protest and cheer each other on....keeping the 'us and them' feeling alive and strong.

if it was such a beautiful, light-filled place, why shove it even more in the LL members' faces who were excluded from it....whose presence here was the reason for escaping LL in the first place?

You're not awful people. You don't need to defend your membership there. The voting thing was a bit jeuvenile, and the odd member was a bit whack - but that's no different than the crap we see around here daily. But, you didn't do anything wrong, in principle by being members there. Don't worry about it.

Non-KS'ers....

So, some of you feel like the kid who didn't get picked for the baseball team. Maybe that's your life story, so this really stung you. You couldn't really speak up then, so now that you can, in this environment, hells ya, you're speaking up now. Maybe you're getting some vindication out of this situation for all those times in past that nobody picked you. Your moral indignation is probably just the grown up expression of that painful adolescent feeling of rejection. I hope this has helped a little in that respect. But, if you're cool with yourself, then you shouldn't take it so hard if you're not always cool with everyone else. Hey, it happens to all of us sometimes. Don't take it so personally.

I wasn't a member at KS, nor was I invited to be. Do you think I'm taking that personally? Oh, God no. Whatev...I know I'm a kind of bi*ch sometimes. You gotta break some eggs to make an omlette, so I accept that some relationships, cyber or otherwise, end up being the broken eggs. You can't have it both ways when you take a stand.

I am both an LLer and a KSer - and a member of a whole lotta forums - I had a choice on whether to join KS or not, I chose to join. I did not b*tch or complain, nor did I condone it…nor do I need to explain myself. Some of you really need to back off…and stop tarring us with the same brush.

btw why are people dragging LL into this? LL is not a human being…no one hated LL we love it. KS was a place to escape a couple negative knowflakes. That is all.
