Dear President Bush, Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's Law. I have learned a great deal from you and understand why you would propose and support a constitutional amendment banning same sex marriage. As you said, "in the eyes of God marriage is based between a man a woman. I try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind them that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination...End of debate. I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some other elements of God's Laws and how to follow them. 1. Leviticus 25:44 states that I may possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Canadians, but not Mexicans. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Mexicans? 2. I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her? 3. I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanness - Lev.15: 19-24. The problem is how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense. 4. When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord - Lev.1:9. The problem is, my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them? 5. I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2. clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself, or should I ask the police to do it? 6. A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination - Lev. 11:10, it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this? Are there 'degrees' of abomination? 7. Lev.21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle- room here? 8. Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev. 19:27. How should they die? 9. I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves? 10. My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev.19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? Lev. 24:10-16. Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair, like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14) I know you have studied these things extensively and thus enjoy considerable expertise in such matters, so I am confident you can help.IP: Logged |

I have one more with my own touch after reading the book "God is not Great"... Dear President Bush, Should I allow the Rabbi to suck on my seven day old boy after circumcision? Is this custom still followed? What if our Rabbi has VD or Herpes And this one is my own:
same parent continues.."...and also my 18 year old boy now wants to sue his parents for not giving him a choice before being circumcised. Does he have a legal right to do so? "

Absolutely! (Perhaps then others may think twice before embarking on such a barbaric practice....I like when Kramer tries to run off with the baby in Seinfeld- I think he must be my twin soul or something). IP: Logged |

Thank YFIS Oh Mannu that IS priceless! Not many are aware of that bit in a Jewish circumcision. What a weird thing to do. LTT! I agree! As you may have seen on my MySpace blog, I regret letting that be done to my son. At that time I did not know better and the doctors tell one all the horror stories. And personally knowing a man who had to have it done in his 40s, I erringly bought the doctor's reasons for it. Fortunately my son is happy with the choice he did not have. Whew! Now I am debating whether I should let our cat get neutered. He has peed on things and humps anything he can. Sigh... The humping I can ignore, its the male tom cat spraying I hate. Lexx, I didn't read that part of your blog yet, but no worries. If a parent does what they feel is best, they did the right thing. At the moment I'm at odds with the issue of vaccination. The thing is, without all the facts its impossible to know what the "right" decision really is!Circumcision.....is that something which is/ was common practice with male infants in America? I didn't know that. IP: Logged |

Yes, very common and not simply a Jewish thing. As for vaccinations I hate them but approve. Polio for example which the CDC claims is not around anymore hits the Amish in my region still and then hits others from there. Various strains of Hepatitis are too common too. Measles and Chicken pox still kill the Amish and others. And a farmer would be insane to not get a Tetanus shot. And animals, rabies shots are a must! Mannu...are you on MySpace? I sent you an invite sometime back.

hey folks!im back - just like a bad dream heheh FUNNY!!!! all jewish sydney schools are fenced with military type of fence. This is where we spend most of our taxation money? big petrol companies owned by Amiricans dont provide petrol on regular basis for small australian stations, and later loose customers, money.
Unless of course ozzy bussiness gives in and sells to americans giants. Small towns in the middle of nowhere, bush, suffer the most. Kids, fire stations, hospitals. dear president, Austarlia is beautiful country set out by convicts "Robinson Crusoes" with their rough and street smart life style, richness and simplisity, graet sense of humour, spark in soul, guys who had their share of hard work therapy some time ago. Please tell me what do i say to my 9 years old son why there is a prison military fense around richest jewish schools in Sydney?
and why so called convicts schools on the island dont have one? what do i say to my son, when on Australia day my car is out of petrol in the middle of royal national park and temperature is around 40 +? what do i say to a little ozzy farmer guy from a small town who brings me a canister of petrol but the station is out??

Obama endorses gay marriage-kinda. Now what?-- this could become more like Roe vs Wade, in which a right is more or less codified by the Supreme Court but the US congress immediately signals that it will remain contentious by passing restrictions (as they did with the Hyde Amendment.) ------------------ corporations run our government for profit. The details really aren't that important any more. Sorry, too cynical? Some might say you can't win the game unless you play, but those people have missed the fact that the game has been changed. Progressives are still playing the old game, where attempting to educate the voting public would 1.) change their opinion and 2.) lead to change through elections. This is a ghost process. corporations, while made up of people, are not in themselves people. what a preposterous idea. they are a BUNCH OF PEOPLE. some have individual owners, some many. the shareholders, while having the right to vote on many business issues, are not A PERSON but many, and in many cases do not bother to use that vote because - like a lot of eligible american voters - they are either not that bothered about the issue, or prefer to collect their money and let the "officers" and employees of the corporation make the decisions.recently, however, citigroup's shareholders exercised their free market right to vote on the pay of their CEOs, and nixed bonuses across the board, and in some cases salaries as well. hopefully this is a growing trend. but if a corporation is a person, then so is a union, or any other association of people. NOT THE SAME AS A PERSON APPLE, for instance, cannot go to the polls and cast A VOTE. nor can it be put in jail. nor can it marry, though it can merge with other corporations if it chooses. nor can it be buried in a cemetery or any of a number of things that PEOPLE experience. you cannot, for instance, give a corporation penicillin when it is ill and expect a recovery! A corporation is a separate entity. Of course, it's not a real person. Socialists hate corporations, because the concept prevents them from the social revolution they seek. Corporate law is rooted in capitalism. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Wow!!! I totally love this.... I will be stealing this to use later. My mother n law is always pointing out all the abominations I do on a daily bases. Yet she is blind to any of her own doin. It'll be great to throw some verses from the good book her way. Judgemental, narrow minded people really bother me. I don't feel it's very christian like to be so judgemental of others.IP: Logged |
