"I think I might be the incarnation of Francis Bacon."Does this mean that you have an aversion to chicken? LOL "A little philosophy inclineth man’s mind to atheism; but depth in philosophy bringeth men’s minds about to religion" Francis Bacon "Men have sought to make a world from their own conception and to draw from their own minds all the material which they employed, but if, instead of doing so, they had consulted experience and observation, they would have the facts and not opinions to reason about, and might have ultimately arrived at the knowledge of the laws which govern the material world." HSC, I guess I should explain that the chicken statement was a joking reference to the way that Francis Bacon died. But I am taking it that you probably got it because you know how he died. I just kind of wanted to clarify that to others here who may not know that. IP: Logged |
