I don't really see eyes in this picture. To me, it just looks like doodles. Is it a face? I get Cancer or Leo vibes from this.IP: Logged |

Eyes?! LOL What?I am seeing a tree that is falling down or a branch of a tree falling down with thorns but she is also putting hearts and stars wrapped around it symbolizing hope, strength and growth so if the tree represents her I would say she has wounds and has experienced her share of hardships but in spite of that she keeps going and is slowly growing but that process has been a bit erratic symbolized by the curves and twists but there are indications that this tree is on its way to blossoming again but its going to be a slow process but interesting none the less. I feel silly assigning astrology placements/aspects to this drawing but I would think Uranus is involved with Pluto and Saturn for the tree and how its shaped and the flower growing next to it ect symbolizing her journey towards personal growth and finding herself.Stars-Neptune/Jupiter Hearts-Neptune/Venus IP: Logged |

Oh, I see it now! I thought you were saying it was more than one eye, like a full face. But I see what you're talking about now. It's half a face and the big swirls at the top are the eye, it's just very enlarged. I see the lips and nose now too. Lol, I thought it was a massive series of doodles!

Is it like a giant eye underneath the checkered heart? It looks like a reptilian eye, so kind of primal, maybe she has past trauma and is hyper-vigilant, hyper-vigilance is a symptom of PTSD. IP: Logged |

Girlwiththerainysoul Welcome to our "Creatives" Forum Love your drawing! So interactive. I love the way one line can become a 'pivot' to reveal a whole other view of your picture! I see at least 3 faces, possibly a fourth next to the checkered-heart, and a fifth face if you see two eyes in the lower left. I see a sad-girl face within a mad-girl face. Tears, flowers, and thorns. Then, something newer and lighter and fresher in development "outside the heavy lines." The heavier lines around the whole face, reminds me of Boundary lines. Holding on to a stressed shield of attempts to define a MAIN image. Self-definition... And with that... some newer, more-vulnerable faint and gentler appearance hiding with the drawing of a stem, with a single and full rose, open with the stamen open for an insect to collect her pollen, that has reached and grown up to where the teardrops are falling.. The tender part. Touching the cheek. If you look at that stem.. which is 'outside' the boundary-lines.. it's as though there's another face imbedded. More childlike and unencumbered. Free from the stress. Light lines. .. In fact, if you back up, and look at the TWO 'leaves' .. even these leaves can look like eyes, on a very young face. I'm not sure.. but I think there are some musicians who 'use' tatoos of those kinds of tear-marks, hearts, with heavily-lined eyes? Do you follow some kind of favorite musician with those kinds of tats? The main big eye .. and the 'checkered-heart' reminds me of symbols on crash-dummies? Looks ~somewhat like these that you've drawn. I think artist is a Beautiful astro naut. Thank you for sharing your Creativity with us. {Nice interpretation, Hypatia.} Assortment of songs your picture reminds me of. *It's okay to have flaws. Wounds. Being 'accepting' of self, and others-- helps all overcome {accept} their unique peculiarities, and belongingness in adversity that life can throw." (music) Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm (Crash Test Dummies, lyrics) [3:54] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=il34epwxhLY * Disappointment .. (music) Hey There! {You with the stars in your eyes} (Doris Day, clip from The Pajama Game, 1954) [2:23] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FpLgiuv9mU * Broken Heart (music) Only The Lonely (Frank Sinatra, *look at the face on this album cover!*) [4:09] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qavFjabmcF0

I see.....Someone a bit too obssessed with conspiracy theories? Someone who has a lack of earth in their chart perhaps... High emotions... high fears (Water Moon?)... maybe a lack of acknowledgement of his/her own inner strength and power to make changes in their life and in the world in general. I would imagine this could be a person who is quite cynical... and generally interprets things through a "glass half empty" lens. I like the drawing though. I think I'm also biased in my take... because it brings back memories of an ex of mine. IP: Logged |

@miragethank you! I think I'll be spending more time on this forum from now on! I thank Kannon for introducing it to me by moving the thread over here I'm glad you liked the art. I find it fascinating that everybody is seeing a girl, because I drew it after a daydream I had in which I saw this man!...when I drew this, I was going through a hard time, feeling angry that I was trapped with studies and not having the freedom to be doing what I wanted...transit pluto in capricorn had first started opposing my natal mars, and it was also trining my sun in taurus....I was facing some intense situations with men...my father, male friends and then-boyfriend all were trying to get me to do what they wanted...I did not have the courage that I have now, to not let myself be controlled by them, and as a result I felt resentful and started drawing a lot things using many different techniques and colors and sizes, as the outlet for the inner frustration I was feeling...my whole apartment had turned into a painter's gallery, but I felt like I was in prison...a year later when a bright and new chapter in my life began, I threw away the majority of those art pieces, and redecorated...but kept only a few that I liked and found intriguing...this is one of them, on top of it I have written "king of hearts"...based on the impression of that man I saw in my head
to answer your question on the tear drops, no I do not follow those metal musical bands, but I have uranus, neptune and NN in capricorn in my chart, all influencing my natal sun, moon, mercury, venus and mars!...and I think that type of music is very capricorn and saturnian (as well as pluto which also happens to be aspecting my sun, moon, and mars) I loved this sentence you wrote: "I think artist is a Beautiful astro naut." the sabian degree of my ascendant is "THE CONSTELLATIONS OF STARS SHINE BRILLIANTLY IN THE NIGHT SKY" I was an amateur astronomer for nearly 10 years before getting into astrology!...I have always been fascinated with the night sky and have endless dreams about travelling to other planes, planets and galaxies! I'm not sure if he is an actual person, or a reflection of myself...I wanted to ask you guys what signs you could all see to be able to learn more about myself! thank you again for sharing your thoughts with me drear beautiful mirage!
* as a side note, the only other time when I drew such intense things was when I was 14 years old and I had a best friend who was my partner in crime...we were out of control teenagers, and she was having transit pluto opposing her natal mars, when one day we used charcoal and drew huge sketches of harry potter characters all over a classroom walls after everybody had left...years later the drawings were still not washed and that classroom had turned into a museum...my younger sister would talk about this classroom in such an enthusiastic way until one day I confessed that it was me who did it!..she scolded me a bit but felt somehow special that she knew more than her friends!

@odette thanks for sharing your thoughts!
I do have a water moon (pisces) but I'm not earth-void, I have sun in taurus trine uranus, neptune and NN in capricorn but I can come off saturnian I guess, because of having natal sun in the 10th
I'm glad you like it...would you care to share some of your ex's signs or placements?

I'm glad you're here! We ALL go through terrible times of adversity in our lives. It's all a matter of 'when' and not 'if'. Life hurts. .. We are molded and fashioned and re-fashioned. It's all in how you want to look at it, in hind-sight. Pull out the Beauty in our experiences, and appreciate what we've gone through... yes, scars, can become Beautiful. That is what art of all kinds can depict. To me, regarding the arts, it's a way we personally can 'process' our lives. Different events happen to our souls and personality. We become soiled or infiltrated by the various things that cling to the fabric of our experiences. We can use the arts, and renew time and refresh the perspectives. Build our narratives.
The fabric of our life-garments get soiled. We 'wash' and renew them through our thought processes-- the agitation and waters of various emotions, including going through 'the wringer'?
Hopefully, we'll have help and assistance along the way!!! "Performing" the art of processing life's laundry. (topic) Clothes Wringer/ Laundry cart fiasco! (Jordan Check, posted March 17, 2017) [2:25] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJqELqGTgMM quote Washing laundry by hand with bucket washer and clothes wringer, the chore that was supposed to only take an hour or two became an all day adventure. endQuote In the past, I've had times where I did a lot of hand-laundry before!!! Didn't have access to a laundromat during those times, and had to use my tub. I learned the art of twisting and wringing the water out of heavy garments by hand. I've done a lot of time doing artwork to process my feelings. Also used music and sound to help my soul and journey. Looking at art, I can almost have an immediate snapshot sense the artist's state as they created it. In my own home (if I have decisions of control over it), I'm very very picky about the art, paintings, and colors I chose to have around me. It creates atmosphere. Looking at art can be like experiencing someone-else's 'thought-form' on your wall. It is impregnated with energies. How fortunate you are that you had a background in astronomy, BEFORE you got into astrology!!! wow. *grin* .. Weirdly?? LOL. {It's solar virgo sky now-- my 9th house!~!} I can compare it to religion-- where a person who is raised Jewish decides to expand their thoughts by a study of the notions of Christianity. (Jesus WAS through-and-through, a Jewish man. Everything he BUILT, his teachings, only added another dimension and layer to the traditional heritage. Through his philosophies and interpretations, he elucidated and OPENED the higher spiritual meanings OF those scriptures. His speech and incredibly rich and even poetic metaphors, were based IN a solid understanding of this heritage! He found the 'soul' expression of it. It was a step-beyond any physical ritual. The 'ritual' was TIED to something Greater and Beyond us, in its Comprehensive Understanding.) Jesus... was a Skywatcher!! *grin* Back to topic.... hmmm. Actually. With astrology and astronomy?? I think history shows that astrology came BEFORE the science astronomy. They stripped the soul, and what it 'means' to us as humans underneath these pinpoints of light. If you think about it... Astrology involves journalism?? Higher musings and observations, reports that corelate the history of human events to the location of lights. Even personal traits, characteristics of human biology were correlated, based on observant "journal-keeping" and diaries throughout the ages. At first it was an oral-verbal tradition, that involved sketched maps, and decorated around those where beautiful and even romantic art figures. Yes, as the 'face' shows .. we are made of stardust!! I think you'll [b]LOVE[/n] the video-graphics and art-expression and message of this song. Your giant 'eye' appears in it, along with all those Stars!!
