Fumbling with an uncertain voice
Words stagger through my brain
Do I speak up and ask hard questions,
Or let myself slowly go insane?

Does it matter if I care at all,
Does it matter if the energy is hit or miss?
Can I make my heart slowly wind down,
Or will it flail as it leaps into the abyss...
