Hello again...Mazz: Please don't feel as though you cannot share your opinions, isn't that the point of having a Forum like this? I am sorry if I made you feel attacked, that was not my intent, I was simply sharing my opinions and ideas, as I said... The jury is out... maybe what you have to say will make me rethink my current stance, eh?  Quinnie: you know, it's been a long time since I read Gooberz... I'll have to have a go at Canto 20 again and see if I might have missed something... As I said.. my opinion is based on many things that I have read or meditated upon... perhaps it's time to re-think the matter, and perhaps work a Lexigram or two and see what spiraling occurs. I have to say that I admire how you are not fixed with your opinions that you understand that feelings and needs will seemingly change. It's nice that you know so much but you still have an open mind. That's always important.
My personal belief is that we do in fact have a Twin Self out there, either in spirit or in human form, whichever the lesson has to be.
It's very hard for me to explain how I feel about anything that speaks to me. So I can't provide an argument, as to why this feels true for me.
Another thing, Twin Selves have to undertake many harsh tests and struggles. Linda even said that all nearly fall. So you must know, that being with your Twin Self may very well be a difficult experience, which isn't at all the romantic dream we want. We are indeed a long way from perfect Eden or unwavering completion.IP: Logged |

Hi there everyone,
Well I melodramatically said I was taking a break and I'm here again now because I looked in to make sure I wasnt not answering anyone and alsoI'd started talking on another thread and it's very important to me to be polite if I've struck up a conversation.
I didnt at all feel attacked by you A,it's me,I will probably only feel comfortable when I am accessing this sight in my home.

I watched a show on TLC one evening about men that have made the decision to change their gender and become women. After this very macho,ex-husband guy became(surgery,OUCH),a woman. They asked her what she missed most about being a man.You would think she would say the obvious(a-hum),but she said that she dosen't think about having sex ALL THE TIME. When she was a man, thats all she thought about. Now she can think of what she has to do, and also think about what she is seeing and who and what, and "yadda yadda yadda".
At one time on EARTH, the neanderthal peoples and others,thought the homosexual was the Shaman of the tribes.They never thought about having sex(with women) so their minds were clear to re-member their magic. Everything was re-membered,not learned.
Jean Auel's books are a great study in Fiction. "Clan of the Cave Bears" and the following books are a great study in Karma, and intuitive living.
I believe that Homosexuals are born that way, so there is obviously something that they have to experience this time around.I have been a hairdresser for 20 years, and have had many a relationship with Homosexual men.And in some ways I saw how they can think both ways,but there is definately a male energy (thinking about sex)in their lives.

Aselzion, your posts seem to hit several truths in me.
Mazz, you make several good points. I love your discussion on soul mates. I am romantic to my very core and truly WISH there is a soul mate for me. Maybe it's the Universe's quite literal way of saying that Aselzion is right about Isis and Osiris evolving just as we are and answering our questioning as to whether or not they incarnate into the same signs.
if they are ture creators they will change signs just as we do.

Just had to mention, didn't Linda say that Isis and Osiris would always be born under the sun signs or ascendants of aries and leo respectively?
I do believe I read that in Star Signs though I will try to look it up soon.
I would have found it quite odd as far as evolvement and "timing" is concerned if they were always just one sun sign. However, I feel the lion and the lamb idea is worth a lot more heavy thought (by me of course as I'm sure I haven't given it enough thought). Also, this is muddy waters I know, but if we take the example of Osiris as Jesus we see that he may have been born a Leo (or leo rising) however once he connected to the Christ consciousness he was no longer any sign per se, but that "13th" sign ... the best of all twelve, etc. I always wondered why Isis would be an Aries, ruled by Mars, until the idea of the lamb comes into play ... but then the whole polarity, male/female thing comes to attention and that is such a controversial topic in itself that it may not be worth delving into now. However, I can't help but feel that perhaps, symbolism aside, the aries/leo thing has something to do with the original transgressions between Osiris and Set ... if Osiris and Isis were indeed the creators of our world, and Set and Nephthys were, erm, intruders of a sort, then perhaps the energy at the time of the crisis is highly relevant, not just to their personal evolution, but to our planet's as a whole. Curiously, is there any similar legend in regards to Set and Nephthys being born under certain signs?
As for Lilith, I sometimes feel she was perhaps an aspect of Nephthys before she left Set although that, of course, is also quite open to speculation.------------------

isis / mary magdalene altar ~~i'm assembling some items for an altar to isis and mary magdelene, as the same entity...is this correct, as some posts in this thread tend to suggest? i'd also appreciate information or suggestions anyone may have regarding items for my altar. material, symbols, et al...that carry intrinsic metaphysical and spiritual signifigance? i hope to connect to the protective and nurturing spirit of isis and magdalene, into the universal feminine power of healing, motherhood and love. i've read that one of isis' symbols is a snake...true? is this related to the subject matter of the earlier posts in this thread? thanks for thinking about this.
