I had a few in the past, 3 swords always made me feel sad and others swords, like 5 and 10 too. A few weeks ago I did a tarot reading for myself and the two cards that will always stick in my mind are the tower and 4 wands as the outcome- Iooked at the combined meaning in a book and it said something about damage to the home by natural forces - our house set on fire within a couple of weeks of that reading - OMG I dont wanna see them again. There were some positive cards in their too - fortunately most of the house was ok and my family, thank God, are safe - love to all xxx

I have to say that the 3 of swords is my least favorite card.

The three of swords alwasy indicates emotional pain to me, unless it is surrounded by some other positive cards. This card often appears before a relationship ends, or there is tremendous pain in a persons life.

I have to say that The Tower is my least favourite card.

It's just get that negative false feeling, that what your querent believes to be perfectly all right is far from the truth, and you have to break it gently to them... or if you read for yourself then you know OMG this is it, this is that horrible dreadful card that I sure hoped would never come up!

It does appear to be a bad one.

My least favirite card is the 3 of Swords

Unfaithfulness, separation, arguments, it's just filled with karmic lessons, we must learn from.

after that it's the Tower

Breaking down the existing ways of living,
for example, no drugs, alcohol, etc.
To Live the correct way, the True Path, it is a good card, but very difficult because it deals with issues that we are harming ourselves, like throwing yourself off the Tower.
It says it's time to move to the next level, before you lose yourself and your goals.
Just my thoughts.

I found the tower brought great enlightenmet, although our house fire was a terrible shock, things came out of it that we needed to see......in gypsylore.....fire is cleansing....bringing in the new......

So I suppose one has to go thro the breakdown of all that was permanent to get the breakthro, so to speak ......the tower a very difficult lesson, but necessary at times ....

DiviniT,

You welcome, and I would be glad to share what I think of other cards.
Please, just ask.
I think this is a wonderful forum, and can help many, with the different interpretations.

ALso allow for flashes and messages to come, along with the cards.

Artlovesdawn,

Judgement to me means

A clean slate, all karmic debts are paid, you have come full circle
a time of renewal and rejoicing
you have reached the next
level
a step on the ladder
to wisdom and knowledge
the spiritual college
of life

the numbers have always helped me to distinguish time frame of event
or a numerology description of a person
and personality
if you have a specific question, I'll do my best to answer it.

Love and Light to ALL

It just seems the man is holding on too tightly to his pentacles in the picture.....

yes
he must give half away

he must be willing to try
the universal laws
that Linda reminded us of

you get what you give
live and let live

Also
the Pentacles
remind us of material possessions
the weight of this Material World

we must allow the spiritual
our higher self
guide us
and of course
ask Mother and Father
ask and you shall receive

I really like The Tower! It brings epiphanies to mind, grand gestures, revolutions. (hahah.. can you tell Uranus is prominent in my birth chart?)
The 10 of Swords is an unhappy card, I always see self-destructive, sabotaging behaviour. But there is that hope because it all comes from the Self- makes me feel like it can be battled immediately. (though perhaps this is the hardbest battle?)
I like The Star too.. but it sometimes makes me melancholy, maybe because of the image on my deck. It makes me think of quiet, solitary moments and the kind of hope that comes only when much has been lost. It's not the silly, happy hope of The Fool. I feel like a lot of pain has to happen for The Star to appear.
I've been drawn to the High Priestess lately- as a personal symbol for this time in my life. It's a good card for a solitary woman.
