Wow! I guess The Tower can be viewed positively.------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Lewis Carroll IP: Logged |

Yes, Randall, everything can be. Whiterabbit, I too have always liked the vibe of the Tower card and thought it had something to do with the prominent Uranus in my chart. I like the Star because it vibrates to 17. My name and birth number. And it's a card of Hope. .....And I just like anything having to do with 'stars' anyway. IP: Logged |

Oh I love the Star too....yeah like you say 26....hope....Cant say the same for the Tower tho, especially since it came out in the spread that predicted a house fire (together with the 4 wands)....we lost a part of our home, but thanks be....nobody was hurt.... What would you guys says if the tower came out crossing the 2 cups....someone asked me.....i do have my feel for it, but would appreciate others' words....thanks... xxx IP: Logged |

Hi sue! Wow, I'm glad no one was hurt in the fire. As you know, the Tower represents Uranian things. Sudden loss, upsets, shock....I wonder how that housefire was started? Uranus rules electricity, lightning... The Tower crossing the 2 of cups makes me think "Uranus conjunct Venus"....I tend to think of everything astrologically. lol But those two cards together could indicate, a sudden romance, sudden break-up of one (though I would consider that more the case if the 2 was reversed.) A chance meeting between two people, 'love at first sight', a quick romance, one that was started suddenly and ends just as quickly, an exciting, fun relationship, one that may be short term. If this is drawn in an already established relationship, I think that something might come about that will upset it or bring a shock or change, a breakup - a surprise! It really could go many ways.... Just a few thoughts. What were yours? IP: Logged |

Sue~ It's interesting, isn't it, how we all have special relationships with the cards and they are associated with our lives and inner selves- meaning different things to all of us. And yet we can still agree on some basic vibrations of the cards! That's why I am interested to see if we agree on the two of cups/tower combination. It's hard without seeing them together, and seeing the rest of the spread, but right now, thinking about it- I have the feeling that there has been some deceit in a romantic relationship which will soon be uncovered. BUT- I am also getting another feeling and this is where it would be nice to see the other cards in the spread: If these two are together in a certain way- I see a relationship that causes a lot of damage to the circle of friends and family involved with these two individuals- but I don't feel like it's their fault, there is just something shocking and uncomventional about them that is causing all of this trouble. What were you getting from it?IP: Logged |

hehehe... hi 26t! we posted together! I also always think of the cards astrologically, it really helps me! And yes- I was also thinking a bad Venus/Uranus aspect! Our interpretations of it are different, and yet similar. Wonder what Sue will say. IP: Logged |

...reading mine again.....it's pretty 'textbook'.I'm not much of a Tarot card reader, but I do know about the cards and their meanings. I need to practice more. Get better at putting together a story from a reading .......Just thinking out loud. IP: Logged |

I see the Tower as freedom (the lightning) from imprisonment/faulty foundation(the Tower). Yes the figures fall to their death but in doing so are released and freed. Its still not one of my favorites. My least favorite card is The Devil, and then the 9 of swords. I rarely get the Devil, but when I do it creeps me out.BTW, has anyone noticed how similar The Devil and The Lovers cards are? My favorites are The World, The Star, and the 10 of Cups.

hi whiterabbitwhere are you getting the tower is uranus? is this your own personal take on it because traditionally i think the tower is mars isn't it? whatever works for you i think anyway i would think uranus too!!! to me the tower is necessary upheaval - never comfortable but it represents freedom - getting rid of a bad situation clearing the dross away - like a spring clean IP: Logged |
