That was a very cool episode, the coolest episode of the year! It's unfortunate that I probably won't see it as much next year because of college and all.-StarLover IP: Logged |

I missed the finale. Can someone tell me briefly about it? Was that new guy the Devil?------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." Randall, you missed the best episode of the year. It was their most metaphysical episode. We don't really know too much about the guy, but he is very handsome and devilish, but god explains he's just a human being like Joan, who made a choice to hate him. The guy was responsible for burning down a Catholic church and a Jewish Temple, but no one but Joan knows it's him. It's awesome, because it left off on a cliffhanger, and next season will be all about defeating him and his plans. Very weird. It's hard to explain. -StarLover IP: Logged |

Greetings...I hope that wasn't the season finale! It was awesome, and very well done metaphysically speaking. Joan referred to Ryan as "the Devil" when she said my ex-boyfriend is 'siding with the Devil', but God did say that he was human, like her. This show speaks a great deal about Free Will, and the choices we make daily. Additionally, God told Joan that her job was to "counter balance", that which has been set in motion by the adversary. I loved the appearance to a waking Joan of both Judith and Rocky, as well as Judith's appeaarance to Joan's mom, who it seems has a Gift for precognition. It was a great episode, but it seem too early for a season finale? Where have I been? In my days new shows started in SEPT. and didn't usually re-run until after JUN. Didi anyone catch Joan's quip to Judith about not having super-powers, and Judith's reply! That was phenomenal. In the Light... Greetings...Well, Randall.... It would seem that despite the show being cancelled Amber Tamblyn is taking the whole thing quite spiritually/philisophically. I am saddened that the network didn't give the show a fair chance to work out the bugs.. I really think they were going to take it to a good place, but now we shall never know... But, I do have Faith. Or perhaps is it that America is not quite ready for a Goth/punk God?!? In the Light... I can't believe that a show whose first season is already on DVD was canceled in its second. I thought Kendra was the obvious choice (even though I ultimately rooted for Street Smarts as a group). ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." I think hearing that Kendra (book smarts) and Chris (street smarts) were planning a project in Vegas ensured Trump would pick Kendra--partly because he admired how she would pursue her entrepreneurial goals with or without him (and with a difficult person like Chris), and partly out of not wanting a competitor. The answer she gave about her crying was a good one also.------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things."
