Star...

I can't tell you it was sooo ambiguous, you are sort of left to figure it out fer yerself!

But.. I think the WB is re-running the silly thing on Tuesday night.

Best of Luck, and don't be too disappointed.

Aselzion and Randall,

I started watching it, but then I got bored, and went on my computer. I still have no idea what happened.

It ended in the middle of the story--like it was part one of two.

The WB tends to cancel shows in the middle of their making, and I guess they ran out of time, and were completely rushed in doing so.

The WB are either very fickle, or they want to save money for new shows that could potentially be better. Remember when they sold Buffy to UPN?

Greetings...

From what I've heard, they knew that this show was going to end this season.

Sometimes I think Joss Whedon and his group of writers just hate to leave a good thing alone.

They ruined Buffy by sending Angel away, they made Willow suffer with both the loss of Oz and Tara and then made Xander leave Anya at the altar. I think they just delight in messing up a formula that works.

Then.. they send Angel to LA where he proceeds to fall in love with Cordelia??? After Buffy... c'mon!?! Then a werewolf?

Then there was the episode where they send Angel and Spike to Italy to "save Buffy" from the Immortal; what a waste of an hour that was!

I dunno... I do have a wee bit of fixity in my chart, but I am mutable enough to like change.. if the change is for the better and makes the show or the characters better. They seem to love change for the sake of change and in the name of change wrecked two shows that could have been really good.

Just my not so humble opinion!

I'll stick with Joan of Arcadia, thanks!

The problem with Angel is that the line between good guy and bad guy often blurred. Viewers want to know who the good guys are. And they want good to triumph over evil.

I just hated the whole corporation they were against. I had liked the traditional demons and sorcerers that Buffy presented. I loved Angel and Buffy together, but when Angel did his show I was mad.

If Angel wanted to do his own show, he should have waited until the Buffy series was over. It would have respected the fans, and the core of the entire story.

Greetings...

Star.. I don't know that it was that David Boreanaz wanted his own show, so much as it was the network capitalizing on his sex appeal...

Buffy was probably a cash cow for the WB and they must have wanted to milk it for all it was worth... why not get paid twice as much for half the work? Isn't that the capitalist way?

I don't think it's about what is good for the series or the fans, but rather what's good for the pocketbooks of all concerned!

Just a thought...

This must be another reason why I don`t watch t.v. programs anymore

A., a cash cow I sure could use one, two or three of them . My cows cost me money on their care.

I still haven't watched it, I work on Fridays so I don't have the oppurtunity to see the show. I'll try to tape it.

It may take a few episodes to get to know the characters.

I've tried taping it, and well it has not worked out. Either I forget to tape it, or the show is not giving because of sports. However, I came up with a solution, I will no longer be working on Fridays. Yaay! Before I was working Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, but now I've decided to leave out Fridays, and work Mondays and Tuesdays plus weekends. So Friday night is off for me! Now I'll probably catch it.

Did anyone catch that new show Jack and Bobby on the WB? It's based in the present, but they keep talking about how one brother will be president in 2040. I saw it and it's kinda weird. What about the West Wing, anyone like that show? Or what about The Apprentice, or Joey? I'm surprised about Joey, it's actually a pretty good sitcom.

I love The Apprentice, at first I was cynical because I thought it was just about money and greed, but then I realized, yes that is the case, but it's also an extremely intelligent competitive bright show. I like the people because they're smart. Not like reality shows that are about love and dating, those are stupid, I can't stand the idiots on those shows! Donald Trump knows how to pick nice young smart people. Yah it's a show, but it's better than most of the garbage on air. Yet, did you know that Donald Trump gives very very little to charity? Last year, it was estimated to be only about $200,000, which is a lot for us, but nothing to him. I don't know, maybe he doesn't believe that others should get a free ride when he's worked his bum off to be on top. He's a smart guy, not very charitable, perhaps a megalomaniac, but he deserves his money, and his success. Donald Trump deserves to be praised, he is a true entrepreneur and Capitalist. At least, he is very giving about jobs! He is a Gemini no doubt, and for a mutable sign very very rare.
