I didn't think Joey could stand alone, but his sister and his new roomate seem very promising! As long as the story lines are fresh and vibrant then great. Maybe Phoebe will come back, divorce her husband, and marry Joey that would be a perfect ending.

Anyway, another show I really started to like was The West Wing. That is another really smart incredible show, maybe I just like the rhetoric, or perhaps I just like looking at Rob Lowe from the reruns. Mmmmm...so handsome!

P.S. Isn't Joey's sister the girl from The Sopranos?

Yes, she's from The Sopranos. All the gang will be back, but not until after the initial 13 episodes. Ross directs the 4th episode.

Cool. I like Ross a lot, even though I thought the writers hurt his character over the years.

I heard that girl might be doing both shows, since no one knows if her character in The Sopranos is actually dead.

This was her first shot at comedy. Not bad.

I thought she did a great job, she came off great, and so did the roomate/son. The only thing I disliked was the theme song, it isn't as catchy as the Friends theme.

If a show has a memorable theme song, chances are the show is going to be awesome. Cheers, All in the Family, The Cosby Show, ER, Friends, M.A.S.H, Gilligan's Island, and I could go on and on with theme songs.

Really bad theme song. I wouldn't have minded the Friends theme (with new characters).

Yah, they could've made a remix out of it. Cheesy, but still what you want is a memorable theme song. Take for instance, The Apprentice, who doesn't love that first beat in the beginning of the song? It makes you want to walk like the Donald.

Or how about...
Money, money, money, MONN-AY, MONN-AAY.

Randall,

Oh I know. That was an insane episode, you can tell they were told to talk more in the board room, and talk they did. We really got to see more of Donald Trump in this episode. I don't know if I like it more, I want to be able to like Donald Trump, and not see him as a jerk. This episode was unlike any other episode, it was a shocker either for sensationalism or there was a good lesson behind what Trump Master did.

Personally, I'd like to think that I'm n'sync with his descision making. I think I understood where he was coming from when he fired Bradford. Although, I really thought it was going to come down to Stacy or Ivanna, most definitely. For one thing, I had total sympathy for Stacy, and I believe that the Trump Master did too, and right way I knew he wasn't going to fire her over the fact that those Queen Bees hate her.

By no means is she an odd ball, she's a kind hearted individual who didn't seem to clique well with the other super competitive girls, not her fault but she's definitely at a disadvantage. She just didn't know how to keep her mouth shut last time. I garantee you she won't get fired until she's either the Project Manager, or her blunders are just too hard to face. She won't get fired over the fact that those mean girls hate her. Personally, I think she's a rebounder.

I really thought Ivanna would be gone, it was obvious that they lost because of her organization. Wouldn't you think that an over populated spot would be taken by someone else? They should've had a back up plan, but instead they wasted three hours, are you kidding me? That other girl in the board room, really got on my nerves, it was her "executive descision" that made them blunder in the first place, and of course they wanted to put the blame on Stacy, but really they were only a half block way, and it wasn't like they really couldn't see them if they tried.

Bradford, made a terrible strategic mistake, he thought he was doing a noble thing, trying to get a few extra points for being the good guy, but instead terrible Ivanna brought him into the last scene, and of course it was pretty arrogant of him to not even bring his suit case along. Trump taught him a pretty good lesson, he taught Bradford, "Don't expect people to save your bottom!" Just because he was the best, didn't really give him a free ticket, he should have pursued cautiously and stayed exempt, and not have made such a loose cannon descision which is what that was. The Trump Master had a feeling and he went with it, why, who really knows, but I think it was the right descision. Bradford was too arrogant, and he made a stupid descision, because why in god's name did Ivanna bring him in the board room in the first place. She's definitely going to get fired.

P.S. The guys in Mosiac are just as bad, if not worse, for one thing that guy was totally out of line for not understanding that health comes first, if guy needs to eat, he needs to eat, if the poor guy collapsed, there would've been a law suit. I would have fired that idiot on the spot. As for the female, in the boys group, the woman doesn't seem to have any sense of humanity. (I haven't learned there names yet.) I can't wait until she gets torn apart by the Trump Master, actually I think Carolyn will do it for him. My favorite guy so far, is the man with the funny shoes and the bow tie, he's the smartest of them all.

So Randall, tell me what you think?

On Saturday you get to see a lot more Boardroom. Last week, they showed an extra 25 minutes, and this week it will be another 12 minutes. That's 12 minutes I really want to see!

What did you think about the whole Bradford deal? Or what about Stacy? Don't forget about Mosiac?

The Mosaic men are chauvanistic, so I like most of them. Stacy probably won't last long, since everyone is gunning for her. They will probably pick her for the Leader next time. I thought Bradford was going to go all the way.

You better be kidding about that chauvanistic thing? I would've torn those guys apart in seconds (must be my Pluto in the 5th talking.) Personally I'm going for the weird guy with the dancing shoes! You might be right about Stacy, but she first needs to be the Project Manager, because we've got to see her go up to bat. I don't think there will be one girl in the season finale though.

No way was Bradford going to make it, he was way too confident, and I had feeling he would eventually blunder.

Greetings...

I know, I can't wait to see how they resolve it.

From the previews it looks like Joan thinks she was crazy and is resorting to the "if-I-stick-my-fingers-in-my-ears-and-'la-la'-loud-enough-I-can-pretend-that-I'm-not-hearing-you
defense that usually only works in kindergarten court!

Looks like she got a new "do" too.

Should be an interesting season.

In the Light...
A

Too many details to write about, but I'll try to give a summary. The task was to create the biggest buzz about Crest's new vanilla mint toothpaste. Mosaic's Project manager was the black guy. Apex's was a blonde girl. Neither had been prolific in the past (don't recall names). Each team got a budget of $50,000. Mosaic had a terrific idea--to buy insurance for $40,000 that allows them to give away a million dollars. After working on it for most of their time, Crest legal turned it down. They were devastated. They had wasted all their time. Apex went to an agency to find a star. They settled on Mike Piazza. He brushed his teeth in publc and autographed Crest boxes for 30 minutes. Mosaic decided to do three $5,000 giveaways and had circus performers give away toothpaste. Crest liked both, but preferred Apex; however, Apex got a misquote on printing and went over budget by $5,000. Because of that, Mosaic won--again! The Project manager brought two in the Boardroom: the lady who messed up on the quote (short-haired girl) and Stacy J. They tried to make Stacy look crazy, so Trump called everyone back in from the suite and asked them all what they thought of Stacy. They lied and said they were afraid of Stacy. Trump fell for it and fired Stacy.

Poor Stacy, I heard in the news she got fired. I would've fought back with tooth and nail, would've made those girls look like the jerks that they are.

Nor did I, you were right Randall, it's going to take me a few episodes to get used to the characters. But all in all, I liked it, I thought it was very different and funny. The actress playing Jane or Joan is very unique.
